The front desk doesn’t know what he is doing. He was about to charge me again unless I show him my confirmation number that I already paid online. I requested tissue and coffee bags came after 2 - 3attempts.

And about the hotel staff, there's was nice people and there was also ignorant people. the room was fine, the guy told me that we will get a room with pool access through the balcony but I got the other balcony instead..... it's disappointing. Breakfast was ok with the pancakes and the eggs but not a lot of bread and couldn't eat cereals because the bowls were so tiny.

Fanadir is a smaller property with decent sized rooms; however, the bed was a bit hard and the rooms a little run down. There were missing tiles in the bathroom, but it was clean and the air conditioning worked well! We had a marina view room and being about 5 minutes walk from the marina where there are shops and restaurants, it was very quiet! The poolis nice with plenty of seating. Breakfast was average with eggs and pancakes to order, fruit, yogurt, breads. The juice was more like a powdered mixed juice than fresh squeezed which was disappointing. The wi-fi is limited to the pool and lobby and is inconsistant, which was not unexpected. The servers were not very attentive and we needed to flag someone down to order a beer. Being in a quiet location and a short walk from the marina was the big seller for us!

Our stay at the Fanadir was what we expected, a small boutique hotel for adults only! The rooms were clean, and overall well maintained!
My only complaint would be some of the staff couldn't speak English, the breakfast wasn't great and it was too quiet!

Very clean hotel and helpful staff. Room and view excellent. B&B basis and pleased we did not book half-board or fully inclusive as the restaurant was very plain and food OK for breakfast and perhaps a sandwich by the pool but had no appeal for a full meal!

Wonderful hotel with rooms overlooking the marina.
Great value for money and wonderful staff but a couple of things which let the hotel down, although a kettle and cups are provided in each room there's no tea/coffee etc. and you have to pay for this? Additionally the step in/out both sides of the pool are loose and unsecured. Although we reported this it was a case of well, not much can be done.

The hotel is a very nice place to stay close to the marina. The desk clerk, Michael, was very helpful with all of our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Red Sea at El Gouna.

Beautifully designed hotel in a haven of peace
My stay at the Fanadir hotel was characterised by a sense of relaxation and comfort. Having had much experience of 'flexible' Egyptian timing, I was delighted to see the well- organised and prompt transportation arrangements on my arrival at Hurghada airport. I checked in quickly and was assigned a room on the second floor with a small open balcony looking towards the pool. The room was spotlessly clean with lots of space and facilities. I was particularly glad that the A/C worked efficiently and quietly, and that the hotel had a clear awareness of the requirement for eco-efficient power infrastructures. Breakfast provision was basic,but sufficient. The omelette and eggs 'station' was a nice touch, and I enjoyed what the chefs there provided. The pool area was well-managed, and this is where the 'adults only' aspect of the hotel came into its own.The only sounds of lapping water and tastefully quiet music was exactly what I was looking for on my short break. I would recommend the Fanadir hotel to anyone wanting rest and relaxation, be it couples or solo travellers. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Fanadir generally is a quiet hotel to stay in, with a great location to give you the whole Gouna experience, everything is a walking distance and the hotel has a very positive energy. The hotel however doesnt provide any amenities in the room, no complementary tea or water and the breakfast is quite limited, so you will need to buy your stuff from the nearby market - around 15 min walking distance - or get it with you

I stayed a week in a basic room, it was clean, large and well appointed. I had a balcony with pool view which was nice. The hotel was quiet and did not have many guest during my visit but the staff where very helpful and friendly, the food was of a decent quality with a fair bit of variety. I would use this hotel again as it was very well located for kitesurfing, probably the closest but on that note El Gouna is very small and most hotels are not far from kiting beaches and you pay £5 Egyptian for all tuk tuk journeys anywhere within resort.

Das Fanadir ist ein kleines sehr ansprechendes Hotel mit einem schönen beheizten Pool und. Nebenan gibt es das Hotel Mosaique, das unter demselben Management steht und somit vieles gemeinsam läuft. Das kontinentale Frühstück wurde ebenfalls im Mosaique serviert. Außerdem gab es einen kostenlosen Tuk Tuk Service zum Hotel Ali Pashi, wor wir ebenfalls sehr üppig frühstücken konnten. Die Lage ist direkt an der neuen Marina, also top!!
