I was in Tokyo for 7 nights on a solo sightseeing trip, staying at Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi. It was excellent for my needs. The staff were helpful and friendly, my room was immaculately clean, and the hotel is in a nice quiet part of town yet very close to all of the various train lines you might need. Having visited more touristy areas I am so glad I chose somewhere in a quieter neighbourhood, and Tokyu Stay couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much to the staff for making my week comfortable and providing such a good base to explore the best city in the world.

Check in and check out was super quick and simple. Staff spoke english and were very friendly. They always greeted you each day when returning from a day out. They had free teabags and bathroom items available in the lobby which was very useful during my stay. They also had a vending machine with drinks available too.

The room we had was small but cozy and clean (the standard double room 15sqm). There was no issue with the space. If you want more space or are travelling with more than two suitcases, I would recommend booking the bigger rooms they have available.The hotel offers a breakfast option but we didn't try it. (Some of the foods seemed to be frozen items you microwave back in your room.) There were no issues with outside or inside noises, overall very quiet.

Tokyu Stay is very convenient location wise. It is in walking distance from Akihabara and to many train stations including Tokyo Station (Kanda Station Shin-Nihombashi station are a lot closer.) It is also located close to a lot of restaurants, vending machines, cafes and convenience stores. Not too far behind the hotel is a fantastic Cafe with great priced breakfasts (Café Lafresa)

I never had issues during my stay and would definitely stay here again. Their provided breakfast offers a quick and simple option but I would recommend Café Lafresa or any of the nearby convenience stores instead. The location is great for getting to train stations, restaurants and convenience stores. Overall very happy!

The room was clean and the amenities were great. The staff were very helpful, and they did above and beyond. I arrived quite a few hours before the check in time and had to leave my luggage there. Upon knowing this, the staff went ahead and moved all of my luggage to my room so that I didnt have to drag them around when I checked in. I recommend Tokyu Stay to anyone who travels on budget.

The reception staff were always kind and courteous. We were able to leave our luggage there before check-in and by the time we came back it had already been taken to our room. We much prefer not having daily housekeeping and having options for levels of service (full clean or towels and bins only etc). Lots of little touches made a big difference-the free postcards they offer and send on your behalf, the welcome biscuits, the complimentary shampoo is excellent, food and drinks in reception, the balcony to the room with microwave and fridge and great value price being in a quiet area only one stop away from Tokyo - we highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for my stay in Tokyo. The room we booked was spacious compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in Japan and it was great for two people. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The area was close to a lot of convenience stores, restaurants and train stations so it was very easy to get around. It was also in a quiet neighborhood which is nice after a full day of exploring. The check in/out process was also easy and did not take too much time.

Black mold spots in the restroom like the cleaning people can’t reach higher than 5 feet. They charge for towel changes and they don’t offer room cleaning free unless you’re staying over 7 nights and the amenities were ok. The older male gentlemen working Tuesday morning the 19th was rude. I’ve experienced much better in Japan I will not be booking with this hotel chain. For the same price there are much better options that include more services and amenities.

Typical business hotel, very clean and polite staff. We could borrow umbrella when it’s raining and were offered free biscuits and coffee. The room was small , yet fully furnished with everything, including a bathtub. Luggage’s could only open half. Few minutes walk across Kanda station has a food street. There is also a hidden coffee shop nearby. A bit of walking from main stations needed.

We stayed 10 days in this hotel. The room is not large, but it is Tokyo and the price is very reasonable. The room has a little kitchenette with a small refrigerator, so you can have an early breakfast. There are several Family Marts on the way to metro stations. There is a good grocery store near the pharmacy \"Create\" on Nihombashi street. It is a good hotel if you plan to explore Tokyo and/or another Japan cities by train as Tokyyo Railway station is 20 mins away. The staff is very friendly and helped me when I cut my finger.
I definitely stay there on my next visit to Tokyo.

This hotel was more like an extended-stay place. The room was a small efficiency apartment with cooking plate, microwave, dishes, and utensils, plus a refrigerator and washer/dryer unit in the room. It was very comfortable for a two-night stay but would have worked well for longer. However, it was not very clean—other people's hair was in the corners of the floors when we arrived.

Overall, nice hotel. Less than 10 minute walk from two stations, and area seemed pretty safe. Staff was friendly, despite the language barrier and let me leave my bag at 6:30 am (even had it in my room by time I arrived for actual check in).
My biggest complaint was the AC. It felt very weak and made sleeping difficult because it was still too warm and stuffy in the room. This was during of a week of 35 C weather. The bed was okay, but I wasn't expecting a luxurious bed given the cost. Room was clean, and shower had good pressure (maybe too much...).
However, I felt what I received was fair given the price.

I like the coziness of this property. Small but has almost everything a short term stay traveler needs. It’s close by the train station. About one minute walk. But at the train station foreign traveler needs more guidance how to go about getting to the right connection to Tokyo Station. We spoke to a few locals at the train station with limited English. We need to take a train to Otagi (one stop) then switch train to go to Tokyo Station. The hotel can assist hotel guest by providing written English guidance with directions. On the hind sight, the washer and dryer took forever to dry a few clothes. Three tops and three pairs of jeans will take about 4 hours to dry!! It’s a very quiet washer and dryer. We like the quiet washer dryer:) Overall a good hotel!

The property was very convenietly located. A bit more than 20 minutes driving distance from Tokyo DisneyLand, teamLab Planets etc. Also, within walking distance of a variety of stores. There was also paid parking less than a minute away from the hotel. The paid parking was expensive but that was Tokyo. My only issue is that the bath tub was not as clean as it could be around the edges. To notice it you had to look very, very closely, but I suspect the previous guest was shaving and there was hair by the edges. Other than that there were no issues. The room came with a washing machine, microwave, mini fridge and tv. We could adjust the lighting from a switch near the bed. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was not noisy. We booked on a smoking floor (as it was the last room available), but other than in the hallway there was no real smoking scent in the room itself. The room came with robes, razor, towels, and other basic toiliteries. We included breakfast in our booking, which was not very impressive (mostly rice, bread, jam and a soup... no fruits, yoghurts, pancakes, bacon, sausages or anything the days we were there at least). All in all, a very good booking.

Good value hoptel for a Tokyo stay.

Stayed for one night prior to departure from Narita. This is a business hotel situated a 20 minute walk from the main shopping area of Tokyo and a 5 minute walk from the subway. Reception staff were efficient and friendly, providing good information on the area and transportation. There are a number of good restaurants and bars within a short walk and even the Ginza is walkable from the hotel. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with every amenity to make your stay comfortable. Complimentary coffee was available in the lobby. We liked this hotel and had become accustomed to the high standard of service of Japanese hotels and this one did not disappoint.

As a lone female traveller visiting Japan this was a great first stop on my journey. The staff spoke English and were very kind, understanding and friendly. The breakfast was really good for a budget hotel, and the room was clean, comfortable and perfect for my needs. Perfect for a traveller on a budget. The lovely bath products and deep bath were an added bonus. It made me feel very at home and is very convenient for a pedestrian - I cannot drive so relied solely on trains. Kanda is the closest station and this has very quick access to tourist sites. I felt safe and happy in this hotel, which is the most important thing for me!

Overall a great location close to public transit and food options within walking distance (Kanda Stn). The breakfast provided had good variety and meals were hearty. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a bit limited on space as is the norm for Japan. No issues with the room, except the bathroom had a strange odour that emitted from the pipes. Also some mold around the bathroom door as the venting system is not very efficient. However a great hotel and definitely useful to have in room laundry which we took full advantage of. We would definitely consider staying at other Tokyu Stay properties in future.

I had been staying in a pod hotel up until this last day in Tokyo, and wanted to treat myself for my last night. This hotel for one night was the same cost as 4 nights in the pod hotel down the street. I hadn't realized I had booked myself into a smoking room. From the moment I opened the door I could tell it was a smoking room. The smell of smoke permeated EVERYTHING, plus there was still a pile of ashes by the window. The room wasn't very big either. I immediately asked the front desk to move me, and they were kind enough to do so, without pointing out that I had made the booking error. The non-smoking room was significantly larger!

The room I had booked had also come with breakfast included. The breakfast offerings were more than I expected. It was a good variety, and fresh choices.

This was my first time in Tokyo. I was there for a conference. This hotel was really great. It was clean, lots of amenities, including a washer/dryer machine for clothes that was very handy, and great for coming home with clean clothes! The hot breakfast in the lobby was great. Variety across the week, and hot, fresh food. The hotel's location very close to the local subway made getting to/from the airport really easy, or getting to other locations in Tokyo. It's an easy ~20min walk to the Imperial Palace grounds, so my colleagues and I took advantage of a morning off to see that before heading back to the airport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable and useful for business travel.

The Tokyu Stay Nihombashi was pretty much exactly what I was expecting, having stayed at an APA Hotel in Japan once before. The room is smaller than what you'd expect if your only experience is with larger western hotels. The Tokyu Stay, in my opinion, is primarily intended for short stays in the city for business travelers but we used it for a two week sightseeing stay in Tokyo.

The only complaint I had before even arriving, and I'm not sure if this is the fault of the property or Expedia, is that some of the rooms have washing machines, but it is very difficult to tell which ones. We ended up staying in rooms without washer/driers. This isn't much of an issue as it turns out, as the staff has the location of a laundromat within about a 15 minute walk.

The location itself is very good, with two Family Marts, a Natural Lawson's and a Mini Stop convenience store all located within about a 5 minute walk or less. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk from the JR Kanda station (1 stop away from Tokyo Station) so getting around the city from the hotel isn't an issue using the JR Rail Pass.

The only other complaint I had was the cleaning schedule. Our room was cleaned once in two weeks, and while we weren't overly dirty and making our bed every morning wasn't an issue for us, the trash did start to pile up. We knew to separate it into combustibles/non-combustibles as well as PET and cans for recycling we didn't know where to take them and the trash after sorting it.

We were left without a weeks accomodation on New Year’s Eve after being scammed by an Airbnb host. Tokyu Stay accommodated 4 of us in 2 rooms for a week and was a big relief. The location is great, close to Akihabara and Tokyo Station/Shinkansen. Plenty of food choices and drinking spots. Also had the best soba noodle restaurant in the area of my trip in Japan. The staff were excellent and attended to all needs. Staying for a week means we don’t get daily service of the room but was fine. I would stay here again. Breakfast is simple but has all requirements and will get you through to lunch!

Ten minute walk from the hotel (Mandarin Oriental) where a Narita airport bus drops off and picks up. All in all, very convenient depending on where you need to be in Tokyo.

Got an allergic reaction to something in the air during the plane ride to Japan. Both my eyes were swollen and puffy. Asked one of the staff members for the nearest eye doctor and he was really helpful and did not hesitate to search it up and draw out the directions for me.

Good hotel overall. Can't complain for price/value

Little disappointed that the ads for this hotel on competitors websites suggest that the room was meant to have in room laundry. Hotels.com had similar pricing so it was assumed that the room would have laundry facilities but this was not the case. Anyways, lesson learnt - check with the booking website and clarify the available room facilities before booking.

There is no second choice in Tokyo other than Toky

This is my second time to stay at Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi. It is right in the city center with kitchenett and laundry machine in your room. Nice to have these equipment when you traveled 2 weeks in Japan. My friends and other family enjoyed this hotel, too. Right in the city center, close to subway and JR. Tokyo station is only 10 minutes away with taxi fee less than US10 dollars

Overall is good.

I stayed there for 5 nights。A fly was staying with me during my stays。Also I found some inset from carpet was bite me. Even though l know the hotel policy for room cleaning services is every 6 days.l think the service is not enough for long staying guest.The check in staff was courtesy and well explained the hotel rules. The breakfast is simple but taste is acceptable.
