This location is conveniently located less than 10 minutes walk from the Kanda train station (Kanda is one stop from Tokyo terminal), making it a great location, especially if you're going out all day and only using hotel for sleeping at night. Small restaurants nearby and a Family Mart right across the street.

Accommodation was pretty good. Mandatory cleaning of room every 3rd day if your staying multiple days with the ability of getting it cleaned sooner if you want.the vending machine on the 3rd floor was only alcohol though which was a shame,luckily theres a 7/11 and lawsons at each corner

The room smells like wet towel. I dont think there is enough ventilation in the rooms. If u are travelling alone this would be a good cheap option. Pillows are not so good. The bed has like a sink hole in the middle. I love how they bring u new towels everyday tho. Very small room. Location is close to Kanda station.

Expensive hotel offering little

It was extremely expensive and definitely not value for money. The new “eco way as we are helping to save the planet” policy of not cleaning the room daily is laughable. It’s obvious they don’t have the staff - nothing to do with the planet. Staff couldn’t even identify the nearest shopping mall! Only 1 English speaking channel (BBC) after all these years of business travellers coming through to Tokyo. AU$215 per night when a capsule hotel would have been just as comfy & have just as many conveniences!

The property is in a great location - it is a quick walk to the JR line with plenty of restaurants nearby. It also has a Family Mart across the road. The staff were very pleasant. The wifi at this property was very good.

The worst part about this property was the shower. The water temperature and pressure fluctuated significantly every time we showered. It would go from the temperature we had set it to, to freezing and then to boiling and go off altogether. We noticed it appeared that there was mould on the underside of the sink (which we could see from inside the bath).

By mistake, I probably booked a room that is a smoking room instead of a non smoking room. The whole floor only has smoking rooms. Horrible cigarette smell in the hall ways and in the room. Room desk and corners underneath bed are covered with dust. The front desk personnel came up with an air purifier. Not having a non smoking room at that time, we agreed to move to a non smoking room the following day. New room appears clean but has a musty smell like old wet towels.

Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are pretty good, rooms well equipped. The let downs were a couple of tiny spots on the sheets, dirty bathroom tap and wall on the bathroom door. Slightly less important but the showerhead has little adjustments and sprays down the wall onto the floor. Good space for even fairly tall people.

The property was really clean and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately the elevator service takes long since there is only one for the whole building. The A/C for the room wasn’t the greatest since the thermostat wasn’t working properly. Overall it was an okay stay but in the future they should try to upgrade the facility’s equipment.

Reasonable value for money and a good location for transport links. The design of the bathtub is terrible and water gets everywhere. It was also impossible to turn the shower pressure down without turning the tap on in the sink too as the dial was faulty.
The semi double was as expected in terms of size but the mattress was sagging towards the middle which made for a poor sleep.

Make sure you exit at the south side of Kanda Station as there’s 2 APA Kanda hotel. If you are not keen to pay for early checkin make sure you dont arrived early as there’s no receptions for guests: not even a chair. Service okay, room a tad small but good for solo or couple.

Pretty much a small room with a view at a brick wall with a soft bed, very tight area for desk and coffee and fridge and decent Japanese style bathroom. Apparently this is what you get with an APA hotel and for one or two nights for what it is and what it cost it was okay.

Once you know the way to the Kanda East APA hotel from the Kanda station, it's a very handy location - but hard to find at first. Especially good location if arriving on the Shinkansen into Tokyo Station - Kanda is only 1 stop south on the Yamanote line.

Kanda Station away from Tokyo Station, plus maybe 3 minutes walk. The place is small, but it's clean and comfortable. For the price you cannot really argue. They have a coin laundry on one of the floors, this may prove useful to most travelers.

Rooms are tiny. They don't change the sheets until you ask. Some floors are smoking, and the smoke migrates into the elevator etc. There is only one tiny elevator for 12 story bldg. The breakfast is not worth the money. The staff members were nice.

Convenient and clean hotel

I stayed overnight for a mid-morning flight from Narita the next day. The hotel is really close to Kanda station and there are lots of conbinis and a few ATMs around. The bed was big and soft and the shower was clean. Staff members are polite and speak English, too.

Great spot and nice staff members.

Place is in a really good spot as it is about a 8 min walk to multiple train stations and not to mention it is a 12 min walk to Akihabara so if you are trying to find a hotel near to this area I definitely recommend it. My only complaint is if you plan to do laundry this hotel only has one washer and dryer so doing this during night time is a bad bad bad idea as this hotel tends to see a lot of business folks especially in the weekends. Also one last tip is if you plan to share the room it is going to be a bit tight if both of you are bringing a lot of stuff.

P.S. if the site still says 24 hour check in that is a lie. Check in time is at least 3:00PM, you were warned!

Our room was smaller than I had expected, even for being in Japan. It was also a little dusty in our room. We ate the breakfast buffet only one day. I got a boiled egg (that's what it was supposed to be). The time stamp was still on it and there were feathers sticking to it. I didn't even crack it open.

Efficient, clean, little hotel

The single-bed room is small but efficient. I managed to fit one carry on luggage on the shelves (laying flat and accessible) and a check-in luggage (standing up) in the room. It's got a small desk just enough for a person. There is only one full-strength outlet in the room, in addition to three outlets for shaver/phone/laptop. It's got a window looking straight at the wall of another building. No privacy concern here.

The price is right for a place to stay in Tokyo Kanda station area. Bed is a little too soft for me, but the room is overall pretty clean.
The optionally included breakfast isn't that great. But better than trying to find a place to eat in the morning.
It's in a quiet area. But there are a lot is stores/restaurants just two blocks away. thansportation to the airports is pretty good too.
Overall, I'll come again if need to visit this part of the world.

Nice hotel near train station and Akihabara

This was my second time staying at an APA hotel in Tokyo. This time around, I wanted to be close to the Akihabara area, but thought that the APA hotel that was directly in the neighborhood was a bit pricey. The APA Hotel Kanda is only a 10-minute walk from Akihabara and was well located near the Kanda station.

Just like my previous stay in Shinkuju, this APA hotel had all of the same amenities and good comfort. The only thing that did not live up to my first experience was the breakfast, that felt quite basic.

The hotel was located in a very convenient location with many places to eat nearby. JR and Subway stations are also within walking distance and this is a good place to stay at for those who are thinking of taking short day trips to nearby places as this hotel is one stop away from Tokyo station.

The hotel was fine. What made me NEVER want to come back here was the dishonesty of the staff. I forgot some clothes in the washroom the morning I checked out and called the hotel a few hours later. They claimed they never saw them. I thought maybe we weren't communicating properly so I went to the hotel in person, spent 800 yen getting there and back, only for them to lie to me again and tell me that my clothes weren't there. Then they just stood there and had nothing to say or even offer to resolve the situation. This is such a bad way to treat a customer who just paid almost 150$ for a pretty bad room anyway, but at least if they had been honest I would have a good impression of the hotel. Never going back there ever again.

The location is very good. The room is quite small, hardly can fit two big luggage. The pillow too thin and soft. The toilet is clean. Maybe don't put too many things on the table. I think the first night the hotel didn't provide mineral water, on the 2nd day after house keeping only we found out hotel did provide mineral water. No cabinet to hang clothes. Overall quite nice and clean hotels to stay with good location.

朝食を利用させて頂きましたが、味などは問題なく美味しかったですが、サラダ(生野菜)が無かったのは残念でした。
あと、ホテルの規模的に無理だと理解はしていますが、エレベーターが一台しかないので、時間帯によっては乗れないこともあり、とにかく時間を要してしまうのでストレスを感じるところです。

アパホテルしては小さ目のホテルです。フロントから狭くエレベーターも一機。お部屋はシングルルームても大き目のベッドです。室内は清潔で満足できる。朝食は品数少ないビュッフェ。カレーにソーセージ・スクランブルエッグ、微妙なサラダ？にトレーに入った味噌汁には驚き！インバウンドの方も宿泊していますし日本の味噌汁があのような状態で提供されていると日本文化を間違えて伝えているのでは無いかと不安になります。朝食は良い無いです。
