Perfect for a couple days get away. Nice place in the middle of the pub and restaurant area of Halifax. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was great - lots of variety. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Be sure to visit Maxwell's Pub across the street and order the best wings ever!

I did not have heat in the room for 2 nights out of 3. The additional sheets to keep warm were not washed as they're were many long black hairs on it.

When we checked in reception said they can’t give me the room I booked due to plumbing issues. They gave me another room. The room was bigger than expected, but, beds were extremely uncomfortable, one of the worst in recent memory. Staff can use a little smile to make travellers feel welcomed.

Good breakfast and nice room, but the room was on the north side of the building and right from check-in 'Boom,Boom,Boom,Boom' from across the street. Enough noise from the pub outside to keep us awake until 2am both nights (despite earplugs). Stood at the desk in front of 'the boss' for a minute before being acknowledged and a staff member called to help us. Parking garage so dirty you wouldn't sit luggage down on it. Got 1 night's parking refunded for the inconvenience, but still nowhere near worth the premium price and feeling dead each next day. Convenient location but would stay elsewhere next time.

A fire alarm went off one night and the night staff was not helpful. He didn’t keep his composure or communicate with guests.
