1. The blanket was a joke. To provide now in December, wintertime, such a thin blanket without the possibility of an additional extra warming cover from the wardrobe is absolutely unsatisfying
2. There were a couple of dark red spots in the carpet in front of the big mirror in the room. It looked like blood. Horrible!
3. The wallpaper behind the desk was full of bigger spots up to the ceiling. As if something has exploded on the desk, the dirt was wiped away from the wallpaper but the dark edges remained

Valuta för pengarna mellan Köln och Düsseldorf

Allt motsvarade våra förväntningar: ett vänligt bemötande, ett rent rum och en skön säng. På frukosten var allting ovanligt trevligt upplagt och det fanns mycket att välja på. Perfekt ställe att bo på för ett besök i Köln och/eller Düsseldorf eftersom det ligger precis mittemellan. Rekommenderar också ett besök på Eiscafé Dolomiti i själva Monheim.

Glad we found this place

Lovely hotel with free open carpark. Our room was a business room, it had a microwave, sink and fridge along with a work surface to sit out. It was very compact but lovely and updated - extra bonus was plug sockets next to the bed! We didn’t have breakfast here but Very very happy with the hotel. We walked into the local town which had a few casual restaurants open and then walked to the Rive Rhine watched an amazing sunset and walked back through the buzzing old town (stopping for a beer) the area felt very safe.

Never AGAIN No AC in rooms and EUGDPR Breach!

This hotel is extremely BASIC. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower is powerful. However, there is NO AirCon in the rooms which made my 3 nights stay extremely uncomfortable.
Also, make sure you check if they are observing EUGDPR about your personal data. When I checked in, there was someone else's address printed on my check in slip!

Just a brief one night stay at the hotel, but it's great for that. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty, there's a nice Italian restaurant on site that served delicious food. The room was neat and tidy, had everything I needed, was comfortable. I would recommend if staying in the area and you want something practical.

The nicest staff in the world!!!

I will definitely stay here again! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredible! I tripped and fell on the old cobbled sidewalk in old town. So, one of the frontdesk staff sent another employee to the pharmacy to purchase my very own First Aid healing cream for my wounds. I've never been treated so well at a hotel before! Thank you again ACHAT Comfort Hotel Staff!!!

Everything was great except there was no Marmalade for breakfast, I always get grumpy that Europe hotels don't serve Marmalade but, shiver-me-timbers, I stayed in Manchester last night with NO MARMALADE, it's catching. Buy stocks of Frank Coopers before it's too late!

Arrived late and the restaurant stayed open for us with a full menu until midnight. The food was very good.

ACHAT Comfort Hotel Koln/Monheim

Convenient for Cologne, where I was at an exhibition. But hotel has a \"dowdy\" appearance due to very poor lighting. Those light bulbs that did work, did not flatter the place!
Bathroom sink impossible to put a plug in to shave, and had been built that way!
I bought through Hotels.com so price was reasonable!If I had booked direct, would have cost 33% more, and that would have been VERY bad value!

Ok Hotel for one night

I chose this hotel as it was quite close to Essen where I was attending the classic car show and it was cheap. It is quite easy to get to from the autobahn, and there is plenty of free parking (at first I thought it was full but there is a whole other parking section at the rear, which you have to drive around the end of the hotel to get to...) The check in staff were friendly, and apologetic about the lift being out of order. My room was right at the end of the first floor by the emergency exit, the door of which was keep slightly open and was being used as a smoking area. The room, which was a good size, was non-smoking, but stank of cigarette smoke and opening a window didn't help. I was very tired so put up with it for the one night. The bedding etc seemed clean enough though, and apart from the smell I slept fine until the smokers woke up and started using the emergency exit 'smoking area'. The shower drain was partly blocked so the shower was in danger of overflowing the tray, I had to cut my shower short because of this. The hotel is in a pretty dull residential/business area, and I didn't see much to do in the immediate area. If they fixed their maintenance issues it would be a decent budget hotel. As it was when I stayed I'd only recommend it on price and parking.

Good value for money and close enough to the Dusseldorf Messe to be useful. This place falls down on the little things. Over two days the orange cooler was broken, the lift broke on the second night, the TV remote didn't work, the liquid soap dispenser in the shower was not re-filled. None of these are critical, but the cumalative effect is tiresome. On the plus side, the rooms are clean, not cramped and there is a very good Italian restaurant attached to the hotel run by a 'Luigi', The staff are pleasant but undertrained. But for the price you don't expect the best.

A Total nightmare!

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. I travel a lot and go to Europe at least once a year for at least a month. I have stayed in many hotels but this hotel had the worst attitude. I was supposed to have a non smoking room, a queen size bed and a refrigerator. When I got there I got a smoking room, with no refrigerator and t tiny bed. The TV did not work right and I had a hard time connecting to the internet. When I asked for help, I got yelled at by the night clerk, telling me he was not the repair man and he would not help me. If I needed help with anything I would have to wait until Monday. I checked in Friday. The one thing that was good was the breakfast and free parking, but that is all that is any good about this hotel.

Nice Standard hotel

This hotel is a standard hotel that is being refurnished during the last moth and have all bed and room are very new.
The areas is fine also if you need to buy in the supermarket small items like soap, shampoo, foam shave, etc. you will find close some shop where you can buy it.
You are close to natural reserved or park where you can jogging if you like to do this during your stay.
Only comment is that Internet is not really included for free in your room, unless you get the bussines package, if you need internet conection be sure that you made reservation or buy the business package.
Breakfast is considerable fine.

Smoking Queen

We had booked a King size bed in a non smoking room I thought, but were checked into a smoking room with a Queen. However, did not ask to be changed- too tired to move... Had three very good nights once the room was aired. Hotel staff was helpful, breakfast was a bit pricey on Monday at 14 Euro pp. I would certainly go back for the price, about a 20 minute drive from downtown Koln- Cologne was beautiful!

Good value for business travel

In the middle between Dusseldorf and Cologne and easy reach of motorways. Parking available. Best for guest with a car. Monheim itself has a nice center with many places for affordable and good eating. The room is spaciaous enough and oofers desk space to work. Breakfast is good. Staff very friendly and helpful. I can recomment to stay there.

Leider eine absolut enttäuschende und inakzeptable Erfahrung.

Bei meiner späten Anreise erhielt ich den Zimmerschlüssel über den Nachtschalter per PIN-Code. Ein Zimmerwechsel war zunächst nicht möglich, da Messezeit war. Das erste Zimmer befand sich leider in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Der Teppich war stark verschmutzt und es waren Flecken zu sehen. In der Nähe bewegten sich zudem kleine weiße Larven auf dem Boden. Auch der Flur wirkte ungepflegt, mit sichtbarem Schmutz, Rost an Türrahmen und einer alten Pantryküche mit stark unangenehmem Geruch.

Am nächsten Morgen bekam ich ein anderes Zimmer. Leider war auch dieses nicht wirklich überzeugend: mehrere Flecken im Zimmer, ein Silberfisch im Bad, eine Dusche mit Schimmelspuren sowie ein stark verschmutztes Telefon. Insgesamt wirkte die Ausstattung sehr alt und wenig gepflegt und entsprach nicht dem Eindruck der Bilder.

Auch beim Frühstück gab es für mich Probleme: Sowohl das Rührei als auch die gekochten Eier hatten einen unangenehmen Geruch. Insgesamt konnte mich das Frühstück daher ebenfalls nicht überzeugen.

Aus meiner Sicht besteht hier vor allem bei Sauberkeit, Pflege und Qualität deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt dort sehr gut gefallen. Das personal war Nett und freundlich, mit ein paar flotten aber hilfreichen Worten auf der Lippe. Es wurden Ausflugsempfehlungen gegeben, und auch sonst konnte man sich Nett unterhalten. Alles in allem für den kleinen Geldbeutel und für einen Wochenen Ausflug zu empfehlen. Die Betten waren sehr weich, für Leute mit rückenproblemen nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Vi havde bestilt 2 værelser og ankom om natten og trængte til at sove. Det ene værelse var.ikke gjort klar, så vi skulle flyttes til et andet værelse. Sengen var meget blød på midten og ikke så blød i enderne - ikke særlig komfortabel. Om morgenen faldt dørhåndtaget til toilettet af - så fik vi værelse nr. 3 på 9 timer

Die Unterkunft ist Zentrumsnah gelten. Wir waren bereits zweimal hier und hatten zweimal Pech mit dem Zimmer. Diesmal war es direkt angrenzend an die Küche. Es war bis in die Nacht Krach und Gepolter direkt hinter der Wand. Das ganze ging dann sehr früh auch wieder von vorne los. Eine ruhige Nacht war das nicht. Die Betten sind okay. Ich hatte um ein neues Bettlaken gebeten, da eins fleckig war. Das wurde sofort gemacht. Natürlich hätte man von Anfang darauf achten können, dass es sauber ist.
Bei Check Out wurde nichtmal gefragt, wie der Aufenthalt war, sondern nur die Schlüssel entgegen genommen.
Die Zimmer allgemein sind in Ordnung, nichts besonderes oder hoher Standard, aber für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung.
Das Frühstück hat eine gute Auswahl an Brot, Brötchen, Eiern, Joghurt und Müsli. Es findet sich was.

Ich war schon viele Male in diesem Hotel.Meine Partnerin und ich sind uns einig.Wenn wir in der Nähe etwas zu erledigen haben, dann übernachten wir in diesem Hotel. Toller Aufenthalt. Hatte vorher das Hotel nach einem bestimmten Zimmer gefragt und glatt bekommen. Sehr sauber und ruhig. Mein Lieblings Frieche in Fussnähe. Einzig: Das Fernsehen könnte größer sein. Genügend Parkplätze direkt am Haus!

Wir haben jetzt schon öfters dort kurz übernachtet und es war immer alles sauber und zum schlafen vollkommen ausreichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super, es gibt genügend kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und in die Innenstadt ist es nicht weit.

Ich buche seit einigen Jahren dieses Hotel und bin immer wieder erfreut ob der sehr freundlichen Bedienung und der Sauberkeit. Zentral gelegenes Hotel. Fußweg zu den verschiedensten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Einziges Manko: leider keine Air Condition...
