I liked the view and the room was spacious. The internet was good. I had several issues with the air conditioning and TV. However, I don't regret the choice... Very nice place. I would stay there again.

Nice Stay, Great Location, Hot Water Challenged

The location of the hotel is spot on with its proximity to Burnham Park, popular restaurants, the markets and other must dos in Baguio. The service is good, rooms are cleaned adequtely, breakfast is hot and get the day started off right. The main issue is the hot water. The note in the bathroom mirror says recommends limiting showers to 10-15 minutes in order to have adequate hot water. Most people must ignore this because we had practically no hot water for a full week. It wasn't the end of the world, but would expect more from this type of accommodation. One note. Many of the units in this hotel are private residences that are rented.

Clean and very convenient to all our activities. Friendly staffs and excellent service. I definitely recommend to family and friends. Taxi rides are not a problem at all and very close to shops and restaurant too

Nice hotel with beautiful view of Burnham Park

A very nice hotel with beautiful view of Burnham Park. Easy walking and transportation access to everything. Helpful friendly staff and a good free breakfast was included. Several Filipino celebrities were staying in the hotel while we were there and everyone was very nice. A clean, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere that I can recommend.

The hotel is a bit dated, although excellent service. The staff are first class.. truly excellent. The hotel is in the center of town with everything within a short walking distance. This is a big plus with the traffic, one way streets and limited parking available. We will be staying there again.

Lack of Caring from Front Desk

I was on holiday and rode in on my bike, I was a couple hours early and was told that i would not be able to check in before 2 pm. When I was able to check in it was rather painless, and the person at the front desk helped me with my stuff to our room. When I got the to the room it was clean but rather hot due to the AC not being powered on prior entering the room. It took over 2 hours to get the room at a comfortable temp. The bed was older and also very hard to sleep on. They say that they offer WiFi in all rooms but that is not the case. There was no info for what the information on how to attach to the WiFi so I called the front desk and asked for the info. The front desk gave me the info and then terminated the call. I had to call back down to the front desk and let them know that it would connect to the Local Network but there was no Internet connectivity. the front desk person stated to me that she would have the Eng Dept look into it and call me back. I called back to the front desk many times for the status of the issue and was always told the same thing. never once did I get a call back and through out the entire stay I did not get WiFi. As for the rest of the stay and the room, well the CR was nice and the shower did have both hot and cold water. But due to the lack of caring from the hotel staff, I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I have received better service from lower priced and lower ended hotels.

It was good location but not fully satisfied

The best location service is great however the toilet flush was one of our main challenge while staying in this property. although the reception send someone to check on it after I inform it was not fully fix as well as the cleanliness on bathroom area was one of the challenge, towels were either worn or look like not been washed for sometimes although it was replenish daily its the quality of the towels.

Worth staying for a couple who planned for unwind

We stayed for overnight. The hotel is short walk away from Burnham Park, Baguio Orchidarium, and Children's Park. There is a Tourist Center across the road.

Staff was not that courteous. They will not greet you automatically when you meet them at the lobby or at the hallway.

Security Guards are very prompt. Everytime I goes out of the parking lot, they immediately assist me in maneuvering and stopping the on going traffic to give way for me.

Room was very spacious.

I will surely comeback for another stay. Next time will be together with my kids.

A few days in the mountains.

Convenient to the park and dining. Ample parking for guests, which is a premium for the area. The free breakfast is served until 10 AM and isn't large, but enough to get one's day started. Do NOT get a room that is facing the church! I was awakened at 6AM every day with a morning prayer over loudspeakers. My friend had a room on the same floor, but around the corner, and he didn't hear the morning prayer. On the bright side, if you want to get up at 6 AM, it is pleasant enough.

Great room and location

The room I stayed was really spacious. It had a separate living/kitchen room, a bed room and two bath rooms, each with a balcony and great view. The linings were kept fresh and felt clean, not like other hotels in Baguio which use fabric softener washing their linings and left them with cheap perfume smell. Price was great for that kind of room. Service was wonderful.
The TV cable in room offered limited foreign channels and was hard to navigate.
Wish there was more veggies in breakfast.

room was okay,.. but the front liner is too bad,... its not service oriented. specialy the person who reply my email. we will never be back again to this hotel,.. we payed for 4000+ 1 nigth and the service was not worth it.

Basic hotel for the price.

Staff not very helpful. Room OK, but a very smallest TV. Only one lift was working, which seemed to be intentional, and it was continually used by the staff. Requested a park view room and was told they were not on the booking. Yet this option was not listed in Expedia.

Good little place in Baguio

This hotel represents decent value, however it is due for un upgrade in the near future. The staff are great, very friendly and provide great service and location is good. The rooms are slightly outdated, dark and a little musty. Wi-Fi was very reliable.

This hotel is certainly not a 4 star but at best a 3 star facility as I found out.
As a first time stay guest I must admit to being disappointed with the hotel.
The room provided me was facing the street frontage and hence with it all the roadway traffic noise. Insulation of the room too was poor and often corridor noise from disrespectful guests at all hours added to this. Hot water was unpredictable in the room necessitating a request for maintenance after it was lost completely overnight and still out the next morning during my stay and requiring maintenance attention resultant in it returning but only at best to what can be described as lukewarm. The room was generally cold devoid of any floor coverings. Very often than not housekeeping provided no back up toilet paper in the room and then poor quality. Bathroom was also at best small and cramped. The café provided a limited off the menu option for breakfast but the staff there were polite and offered good service. One young lady named Amy an OJT excelled and a letter provided to the front desk for the Duty Manager to be made aware of her performance. The latter was in some ways a saving grace to my overall review of my stay at this hotel.

Nice, clean hotel, right across Burnham Park

Right across the street from Burnham Park. Lights in hallways and rooms are a little dim. There is no heater in the room so you will need to wear warm clothes if the room is still too cold. The room is pretty big and clean. The staff is nice and courteous. There's free breakfast in the morning offering 3 different options.

WiFi at the 7th floor is non-existence.
Hotel Guards in the Hotel entrance are not alert.
They don't open the door for guest, they just stand around. A good morning or good evening greeting will brighten up my day if they can only exert a little gesture, or even just a small smile in there faces will do.
I don't know if its management's instruction or maybe it's for safety reasons, I am sorry for being such an observant.

Nonetheless the Hotel is good inside & out.
Good room arrangement.
fast room service for meals.
A 15 peso service charge for foods that will be brought to your room is alright.
Interior & Exterior of the hotel is quiet good.
location of the hotel is very accessible to Burnham park.

I will definitely be back at Burnham Suites again specially if they increase there WiFi signal inside the rooms...

Awesome Stay

It was a last minute booking since we decided to spend New Year's in Baguio. We had heard about this hotel since our friends have been here before and they had positive things to say about their experience.

Overall, it did not disappoint. We booked two suites and the rooms were comparable to more expensive hotels. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Service was excellent as everybody -- the guards, reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff -- were very helpful and courteous. It's a big plus that they have ample parking at the basement.

It's location is excellent as it gave us easy access to all the places we wanted to visit.

My only criticisms are: the breakfast menu was very limited and it want all that great; and the downside of being in the center of things is that it gets rowdy at night. Light sleepers beware as you'll have to close the windows and turn on the airconditioning. Lastly, sound proofing needs improvement as we could hear our rowdy neighbor in one of the rooms.

Very pleased

Overall, great location, near restaurants, park... A little bit of a walk from the Victory liner station but a very short taxi ride. Staff was extremely kind and helpfull. Rooms were very clean and in good shape. warm water and wifi was hit or miss but this appears to be the case in most places in the Phils.

From the hotel, it's a 15 minute walk to Session Road. The hotel is old with dark corridors but with cheerful and helpful staff. The room is large and comfortable but not grand. Some of the hotel rooms are private residences.

Overall the hotel was comfortable. The room was air conditioned, there was plenty of hot water, no roaches, and there was a nice little cafe adjacent to the lobby.
But my reservation was for four - two adults and two children. We were booked into a room with only a king size bed and nothing else. Three of us squeezed into the bed while the fourth somehow slept on the the loveseat.
There was no microwave oven or any other means to reheat food or beverages - cooking is strictly forbidden. The refrigerator was full of beverages that the hotel charged a nominal fee for, so there was very little room for anything else.
Upon checkout the person at the front desk tried charging me for a bottle of water that we didn't open. When I denied that we had consumed any beverages from the refrigerator, it was as if he wanted to argue with me about it. I was proven correct when housekeeping reinspected the room.
After a very pleasant experience at Burnham Suites six years ago, this experience was a bit disappointing.

Staff and supervisor did not even try to help

Not very good experienced. Staff and Supervisor always on break. They should at least try to solve or offer the best solution of the situation, especially when the booking was coming from abroad. What a bad experienced I have to spend most of my time in the phone explained over and over again, but they do not care. They should think to go beyond at least for once to help and accommodate the request for a one time situation. What happened to the policy \"Our customer is always right\" or \"We value our customer\" ?????One thing the front desk say I will take care of that next thing we can not do this ...they do not know what they are saying. My poor family instead of enjoying there is spending time on the phone with me. Horrible experience!!! - The driver license was left there they did not bother to call or put it aside and wait until my family call and ask for it. This hotel do not care for their guest!

It was frustrating when staff at the counter was charging extra 2 person more when the suite I got booked says accodate 4 adults & 2 children. I was told that it's Expedias fault that I should address it by myself. It's outrageous. I was mad & their manager rectified the problem.

not the best hotel

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel (Feb 24 - Feb 28). The shower did not work most of the time; the hot water did not stay hot that long. The hotel amenities was limited and was available only when asked. The towels need to be replace as they are thin and worn out. Some of the staff will not go out of their way for the needs of their customers. The breakfast offered by the hotel was so limited. I don't think we plan to come back to this hotel in the near future.

First off there are many hotels in Baguio. I was led to believe by hotels.com that there are only a few..this hotel wasn't really worth the price.. The location is good the service,even by Philippine standards wasn't great. The breakfast was bad. But there are plenty of good places to eat all around the hotel. At this location of the city you are very close to everything,even to walk to many of them. Taxi's are easy to get and they ,for the most part, just use the meter.. But again the hotel, just average for Philippine standards.

Am disappointed that the actual look of the hotel & room was not as attractive as it appeared on the pictures on the website or sites of the booking agents :( The facilities / furnitures in the room are old but contented that the room was clean & the staffs are friendly & helpful to the guest's needs :)

We stayed for 2 nights out of season so the hotel was empty. We booked a suite and they put us in a room with no view at all and the bedroom didn't even have a window! The bathroom had a leak so the floor was always wet. The staff in the restaurant looked totally disinterested even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Will avoid this place next time.

Hotel restaurant after ordering the waiter returned to inform 1 dish was not available. Deserts after mains told only one choice was available from a list of many. Room service menu ordered the hamburger, not available, Next door to the hotel a large dog that barked constantly, complaints to the front desk had no effect finally had to go downstairs and drag the bloke outside and make him go and tell the owner to shut the dog up. Asked for the manager but after 2 days he/she never appeared. And the picture on the web site falsely shows an expanse of gardens around the hotel. This was not so, the hotel sits right on the edge of a noisey major road , the photo was taken from the far side of the Burnham park and gardens that is across the road from the hotel giving the impression that they are the hotels grounds. The roads are clogged with overloaded diesel trucks and other vehicles spewing black exhaust smoke from low grade diesel fuel as they labour up the steep roads, with the town stuck in a valley the filth stays around . Filthy sidewalks and rubbish everywhere, and the market area! a disgrace. Seen cleaner markets in Calcutta India and that's being generous to Baguio. Recommendation, don't go there

Good position and value for centre of town.

Decent sized rooms and clean. Poor breakfast but no big deal. Good location at quiet end of Burnham Park and right next to the plant/orchid centre whish is a beautiful place to wander around - prices are good also. Parking underground and free. Internet no good in rooms but OK in reception. Overall, good value for money.

Rooms were better than what I had expected for the price. Very spacious, facing Burnham Park. Amenities were more than adequate for an overnight business trip, and wifi in the room was very appreciated. Very near Burnham Park and the surrounding downtown. Staff were very friendly and accomodating; helped out with photocopying and printing needs to obviate the need to go outside.
