We found this on hotels.com.. The pictures do NOT match reality. The building is dirty and not updated. On check in, the staff kept asking for our email confirmation from Hotels.com. I kept giving them the email and they said that was not correct. After a few minutes, they finally let us in. We tried breakfast one day and it was nothing special, but okay. The room had no microwave nor fridge. There was Mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The ceiling was peeling. The closets looked terrible. The bed mattress was about 4” thick, not a hotel quality mattress. The sheets were almost brown from age and stained. For rooms with a view, there is no Air conditioner or heat, just a fan. We are very cold, when we asked for a blanket, it had holes in it. There is free parking accessed at the back of the property in an alley, spaces are very limited and crowded. The rate was cheap and in the heart of town. Burnham park and SM Mall are both very close. After getting burned by Hotels.com twice, DO NOT TRUST ONLINE PICTURES, THEY RARELY MATCH REALITY I would have given this a ONE Star, but we found an even worse hotel on hotels.com

Staffs are friendly, but the property is dated. Room smells weird and feels dirty, the sheets and towels shows as if they weren't bleached. They should not put a dark beddings under the sheets as it gives a dirty impression on the blankets. I think it's time for renovation. Air-conditioned rooms don't have outside windows

Anyway the location is great, everything is walkable, close to SM, burnham, Ukays and everything else.

The breakfast is okay and the location is perfectly located in the central business district. The hotel needs new towels and beddings. They were way too old and smelled unbleached. How I wished the temperature of the water in the shower was kept constanly warm or lukewarm.

If it wasnt for the location, I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. I paid so much for this hotel. Everything is filthy and it looked like they don’t change the sheets on top of this or room is INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! I talked to the front desk about refunding my money because first, its a health hazard, secondly, I have to throw away all my stuff that I used, cant bring it back to Korea, and lastly, the hassle. We werent able to sleep because of the issue, we immediately had to change hotels. The front desk offered to change rooms but that’s not guarantee that the new room is bed bug free. I also spoke to the management and expedia to resolve the issue, but never got a response from the owner. AVOID THIS HOTEL, YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!

This is obviously the oldest hotel in Baguio. They are not interested in fixing anything and everything is decrepit and completely falling apart. I would not suggest anyone from a different nation stay here. People who live in the Philippines would probably be OK with it because it is in a good location. The quality of the hotel and staff are extremely minimal at best.

Banquet Prime hotel should be your last hotel on the list to check into. If you are not from the Philippines, this hotel is probably not for you. It is rough and very old. Baguio is all big city now. So the only thing good about this hotel is it’s location. It is within walking distance of the SM mall, park and City Hall, as well as numerous restaurants, the vegetable, fish and fruit market and numerous outside markets in the downtown corridor.

The hotel has a great location on Session Road, close to everything. The staff was exeptional, going out of their way to personlally greet you and cater to your every request. The included breakfast was very good.

The property is kept very clean. The room left more than a little to be desired, though. The bed was OK, having clearly seen a lot of action over the years. The furnishings are old and dated. My room had a small standing balcony open to the street, though closing the windows did surprisingly nothing to block out the noise when I was ready to go to sleep.

The room itself was spacious with a sitting area and small dining table which was quite useful and appreciated. The room did not have AC which, given the climate ended up not being an issue.

The bathroom had not water using a wall-mounted tank, which worked OK. Very low water pressure was more than a bit frustrating.

Other than certain aspects of the room, it is a nice place, but those coming from western countries need to adjust their expectations in advance to the very different standards of this hotel.

Prime Hotel was very accommodating. Although it was a last-minute booking made by my Aunt in the U.S., but it went very smoothly. Thank you Prime Hotel and Expedia for such a wonderful experience.

We will stay again. See you next December in many years to come.

Cups used for coffee for breakfast is not that clean. I need to wash it myself to remove stains and the rubber slippers that were there when we went to the room is dirty. Also, staff should prepare towels and prepare clean slippers depending on how many guests that will stay in the room. Staff and Frontdesk were nice.

1)Room 401 without a/c even if our booking said the rooms are airconditioned. Baguio was not cold on Nov. 1, so the room is hot and stuffy and we need to open the window to let air in. There is no screen, and the room faces the road and is noisy and there seems to be insects biting. There is a wall fan and TV with cable, but they are plugged into the only outlet and we have no where to charge our phones.
2)After I complained of the noise and insects, we were transferred to room 413 with a/c. The a/c is too low and blows on our face, so we flipped to sleep with our feet facing the headboard. There are now outlets to charge our phones.
3)The bedsheets are old and have lint. The bathtowels have lint and I am covered with lint from head to toe after I dried up. The shower has built in head heater, and water is not strong, but enough. The toilet bowl is slow to flush and needs 5x flushing to clear. The faucet is loose and short, and water is weak. The shower sliding door is quite old and needs to be upgraded. They are thoughtful to provide 1 pair of rubber sandals for bathing.
4)The phone is defective and cannot contact front desk. Wifi does not reach this room. Even if it does, wifi is too slow.
5)Breakfast is set plate Filipino style and just enough and delicious, but not filling.
6)Free basement parking & accessibility to Session Rd shopping/dining r why I booked here. Elevator ok. Free coffee in lobby. Owner supervises parking when guests arrive.

the venerable Prime is still a bargain!

we returned after 22 years to Baguio and the Prime, and I was greeted by name at check-in! location is still excellent within Baguio. Near Burnham Park. The staff could not be nicer! the free breakfast was great. rooms are not small. we asked for a Cathedral-facing small-balcony room. (the Park facing side is quieter.) rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. tremendous amount of recent construction in Baguio. in some ways the city is unrecognizable. lots of newer hotels, but I doubt there are any better situated to access restaurants and nightlife. taxis within seconds at the front door. supermarket in the basement. we were here looking at Universities, and the Prime was a good choice for us. complete with free working wifi, working cable flatscreen tv, and newspapers under the door. my only suggestion is add a small refrigerator in the rooms. The Prime really is a bargain.
