Location brilliant for exploring Le Marais and the whole of Paris. Very friendly staff and overall okay. The main thing letting the hotel down is the quality of sleep. We were quite tired each day. The beds are extremely firm. Rooms were warm and no air con meant leaving windows open. Noisy with street cleaning around 6-7am. Hope this helps.

I am honestly shocked that this room is being charged at $285 per night. The space is extremely small, outdated, and uncomfortable, with broken amenities and no air conditioning. The condition was closer to what one might expect from a budget motel, not a property charging premium rates. Even the hangers in the closet were broken, which reflects the overall neglect.

The service was excellent and the room was beautiful! The bed was comfortable but the tub was very high - anyone older might have difficulty getting in/out of the shower. There was no AC, but the air from the windows was sufficient. Breakfast was very good, and the orange juicing machine squeezed fresh oranges (DELICIOUS). Great location.

There are stairs- even though they also have an elevator. The breakfast was great. The best feature was the location in the Marais. Walkable , safe, not touristy, and really enjoyable. Decor was \"heavy\" and areas needed ipfrading, i.e. worn carpets, paintng. Hotel needed some \"cleaning up\" but it was warm, welcoming, clean and 5 star in many ways. We enjoyed our stay.

You can’t beat the location. The Marais is a great area with plenty to do: dining, shopping, metro station, and going out for a drink. The staff is very friendly. The only thing I would bring up is that the hotel could use a bit of an update. The decor is not an issue, more so the room facilities. It’s quite uncomfortable trying to take a shower if you’re not accustomed to taking a bath; having a shower handle just hanging out is not conducive to taking a comfortable shower. And tv reception was not the best.

We walked to the Eiffel Tower but that may be out of some people’s preferred range. The hotel is well situated close to Hotel de Ville Metro stop and plenty of nearby shops bars and restaurants. It is just a short walk from Il St Louis and Il Citè. The rooms overlooking the street are a bit noisy and you will probably be out exploring during the day anyway,but it can serve you well as an alarm clock as deliveries and bit men come along about 7am! The room we had was more than adequate with plenty of hot water and well serviced daily. Breakfast was the usual continental fayre but ample and well laid out. Plenty of fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
