We enjoyed our stay but the wifi at our room (Lozi) was very weak and unreliable had to get a local sim, the room had mosquitoes even after spraying repellent. Otherwise a pleasant and affordable place in Livingstone. Staff are helpful and friendly.

The food is delicious: a tasty morning fry-up, free afternoon pancakes, and delicious hand.ade and wood fired pizza. But the best? The incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. I stayed here at the beginning and ending of my month in Africa and would definitely stay here again on a future journey.

Charming accommodations in Livingstone
Spent a couple nights here and realized we could’ve easily extended that to several nights with everything to do in the area. Of course, went to both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides of Victoria Falls, and also arranged other tours through Fawlty Towers to do a game drive, sunset cruise, and walk with lions, all of which were amazing and memorable.
The room was nice, with a sizable bathroom and comfortable beds. The public spaces were quite nice, where there’s a bar area (complete with African-inspired photos of Basil and company with the local tribes and animals) and outdoor tables next to the pool. We enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality, and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit the area.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. We made a couple of friends. Would like the room to be cleaned at least once per week as we are not there most of the time with clean towels daily as the towels do not dry completely after use when not hanging outside to dry. Will definately come again in December and will recommend Fawlty Towers to friends and family. Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay. We didn't want to leave.

The General Manager is open to feedback and the only that I have is that the common areas are a bit warm in the afternoon / evening and buggy. I recommended large ceiling fans for comfort as that is the only location there is WiFi. He mentioned they have ordered ceiling fans and are working on getting Starlink as soon the Internet.

Nice grounds and good that they offer free airport pick-up and a drop-off to the falls.
Room, bathroom and kitchen were covered in mosquitos and the mosquito net on the bed didn’t stop them getting in. The top bunk is pretty dangerous, be careful not to slip or catch your foot in the mosquito net if climbing down. No lockers in the room and other guests left used plates and cups over the floor.

HIGHLY recommend staying at Fawlty Towers in Livingstone, Zambia! For only $8 per night during low season, I stayed in a bright and clean dorm room and was pleasantly surprised by what an amazing property this hostel is. Free pancakes are serve as an afternoon snack, the pool is clean and warm, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Self-serve kitchen and across the street from ShopRite and other stores. This is an AMAZING, comfortable, and fun choice for where to stay in Livingstone.

The staff were very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to explore Livingstone. The downside is the mosquitos , and the rooms get quite hot since there is no A/C. But with some spray and a fan these can both be mitigated.

Mostly thing is excellent. The staff is good, big garden, lean and good communal kitchen. Free pancake service at 3PM with nice tea. Also free shatle to Victoria falls. Just room was so hot it’s only small fan in the room. If upstairs bed room, you can not feel fan.

An oasis hidden away in central Livingstone
This is the second time I've stayed at Fawlty Towers. I love it there and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It is friendly, quiet and clean, offering two bedded rooms with en suite bathrooms as well as cheaper male and female dormitory style rooms. The rooms are situated in pleasant gardens and the bar is located by a small pool. Fawlty Towers offers free tea and coffee at any time during the day and delicious pancakes every afternoon at 3.30pm!! What more could you want from a hostel?!

Had a wonderful stay at the Fawlty Towers. It’s a perfect location, the atmosphere is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. All tours can be arranged once you arrive by their tour desk. They also have a free shuttle to the falls. If you find yourself in Livingstone this is a place for you.

Very convenient, with supermarket and restaurants directly cross the road. Nice pool area inside hostel. Fair enough wifi connection. Livingstone Museum was within walking distance. My helicopter flight and Chobe National Park day trip were both very well organised. Only down side was the amount of mosquitoes. Thankfully mosquito net gave a decent sleep.

This very friendly lodging was used by numerous differing guests. It is set up in a clever way to minimise expense while providing for the basic needs of the ordinary traveller - no frills. However the garden is charming to relax in and the free travel every day to the Falls a great asset. Also it is helpful being in the centre of town for access to the museum, restaurants and shops. Visits to numerous activities were able to be arranged. Very helpful staff.
