Very confusing and difficult to find this place. And once you do find the check in office you have to find the room itself. The room was very small, had no windows and the fan inside the room for air ventilation was very very loud. Just felt like this place was very overpriced for a very disappointing product.

This was my first visit to Hong Kong so I needed somewhere to stay that was right in the middle of it all.
This hotel is conveniently positioned right on one Hong Kong's most busiest streets.
The room was great for what I needed and it has a small fridge for you to stock up. There is a 360Mart supermarket just up the road from the hotel and I bought quite a few things from there.
The lady who was on the reception when I arrived was swift in checking me in let me check in at 10am instead of the customery 1pm check in time.
The hotel has a microwave, kettle and water dispenser free for everyone to use and it is a very convenient place just a little of the hallway.
There is daily housekeeping but I asked the lovely lady doing the rooms that she could leave mine as I had not been in it for that long.
This hotel is in a great place for shopping, eating and sightseeing as it is not far to Kowloon Park which has its own swimming pool and aviary and the harbour where the Avenue of Hong Kong Stars are set around the handrails overlooking the harbour.
I recommend that you doing your shopping for gifts and the like at a shop on Peking Road called Elegant Tang Dynasty where if you choose more you save more. I was very impressed with this shop.

It was a very budget price but presented a lot better than we expected. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful and the location was amazing. Would absolutely stay again, we loved our [very] little home for three days.

My experience at this hotel was terrible. Definitely the worst place I’ve stayed in to date. The condition of the property was appalling; ants crawling everywhere, water drips on you due to condensation. I’ve expected better from this place but you really get what you paid for.

Acceptable place to stay in a very convenient location. Sheets weren't clean and bathroom facilities weren't in good condition but check-in and out was very easy. Staff are friendly. There are better places to stay in Hong Kong for cheaper prices, but there are also worse ones out there.

Normally, I wouldn't stay at this property because the room is a stereotypical Hong Kong coffin apartment but I stayed in the city during a national holiday thus I needed to save some money. It was cheap but the internet wouldn't work in my room but it functioned in the hallway. The bathroom knob was completely rusted from the shower and I truly feared a tetanus shot if I got cut by it. The location was great in the heart of Kowloon. Overall, the stay was fine because I realize that you get what you pay for.

It lacks maintenance. I moved to another room because shower door was no good. Then, I moved again to another because runner water in the bathroom, TV no response, and AC leaking water. The 3rd room was better but outlets were falling apart; bed light was missing, and corner molding was insecure.

The guesthouse is vey nice. Close to many place and MTR station which conveniebce to travel. Bus stop for airport is also very close to the hotel just walk 2-3 minutes accross the road. However, the hotel is in 15&16 floor which the lift is always packed. Need to wait a bit long to go up and down. Otherwise the overall is very good. If I go back to Hong Kong, I am defenitely book this hotel.

I booked this place for two elderly couples who had a difficult time communicating with the host when they arrived. The rooms are located at different floors on a residential block and there is no reception. You have to ring them up and be told which floor you should go to. My friends had to walk up and down and search everywhere to find the rooms. It is quite a task for the 65-year old carrying a lugguage. Luckily they got in at the end. The room albeit small is clean. You can put the suitcase under the bed. Kettles are available in the corridor outside.

This is a cheap find in Hong Kong.

Budget-friendly in heart of Kowloon

This hotel was in a great location of Kowloon, Hong Kong. The staff was very friendly. Depending on which floor you stayed on, you took a different elevator. Also, the electricity in your room only stayed on when your key was in the slot. So, no a/c, no refrigerator, etc. while you weren't in the room. (And only 1 key is given per room) And even though they provided bottled water to drink, it was from a dispenser in the common area. If you didn't fill up your water bottles before you left in the morning, no water was available in the afternoon. And our last day, no water was provided at all.

The reception on 16th floor, and lift always full so i must go up and down using emergency stair when check in and check out. Room was dirty(bed sheet looks like dark, i found dirty towel and it looks used before at shelf bathroom, i found wet mat on the floor and used before, clock is dead, fan is dead). The good one is location near MTR tsim sha tsui exit D1

Decent place to stay

Tiny room, hard beds but on the plus side, it was clean, had a refrigerator, ice cold air conditioner. Down the hall was a water cooler to refill water bottles, hot water kettle and a microwave for your use. Staff helpful and friendly. Building is old, elevator is slow - but the price was super low and it is in a very convenient location.

Great spot if you’re on a busy trip to Hong Kong. There’s not too much room but I think that’s typical of most places, and it’s enough for a simple stay. Water in apartment great to have however the neighbours may not be considerate of you which is not the accommodations fault (Aussies shouting at each other at 6:30am!!). Check in was simple, despite what’s written it’s 24 hour available and I was able to leave my bag when I arrived early which was much appreciated!! Would certainly say stay!

For the price I paid was a bargain. The place is in huge building where there are other small hotels and residential areas. I know in Hong Kong there is no space for anything and it will be very strange for Europeans to find this sort of accommodation. The rooms are very small, bathrooms very small which is normal for them. The safe deposit was not working, we had to ask for towels. You can hear every noise. We stayed 1 night only so it was ok as we were on budget and not fussy but if you plan to stay longer you better go somewhere else for your own comfort.

Clean room, good location, reasonable price

The room was clean and small, but not too small where I was not able to move. The room is in a great location in Tsim Sha Tsui. The only problem, not related to the hotel itself is that they close the building down at night and you are required to go through a security check to get to your room.

RUDE + CHEATING

1. The male staff is super rude and very impatient.

2. I booked a double bed room in Mirador Mansion, however they brought me to another room in ChungKing Mansion without my consent. Chung King Mansion is much more complicated, dirtier than Mirador Mansion. Everytime we want to take lift, we need to queue because the lift is too small. And the whole building is dirty and dangerous.

3. However, the room itself is clean and comfort, they clean it everyday. They didn't steal anything even I leave my luggage unlocked.

Pearl is one of many guest houses in Mirador which is owned by a company and tho I booked pearl on the 10 floor I ended up in another place which was in the 16 I wasn’t unhappy about this as the lifts that serviced the 16th floor stopped in fewer floors so getting up and down wasn’t really a problem, the room was comfortable and clean and serviced daily reception was a little brusque but I wouldn’t let this stop me staying there again.

There was a cockroach on the first night we stayed in the room and the hygiene was not satisfactory. The next day, I was not informed there would be housekeeping who came clean our room and entered without our permission. We are fortunate that there is no lost item because the items in the room are all valuable items such as laptops, identity cards and others. We are also given a tear bath towel. You can see the picture below. and the elevator is so badly and I hate it. Drinking water for guests is not refilled and they have to wait until the next day. they should regularly check drinking water to avoid this occurrence again.

Never choose this hotel again

There are pros and cons of this guest house. I've booked a family room for 4 adults (was at 16th floor) and I experienced the following:

Pros:
- Cheap
- Nice interior tiles
- Everyday laundry service (for towels, not every day for bed sheet and pillowcase I perhaps)
- Quite clean
- Easy access to MTR

Cons:
- Toilet door lock is spoilt
- Air-cond is not cold enough
- Room and toilet are very narrow (can only open 1 luggage but not more at a single time)
- A double bed has 4-foot width only, for 2 adults is just unbearable
- Long queue at lift/ elevator lobby
- Limited choice of food available nearby

We wished to book another \"two single-beds room\" at the same guest house since the room we stayed was very small, then the staff told us that the rate per night was HKD2500+ that time (Oct 2017). That could make us book hotel instead! We had sleepless nights for our trip to HK, and this was terrible and contributed some unhappiness in this trip.

In conclusion, I recommend staying at a proper hotel if you would like to rest well. I rather spend more money for my better nights of sleep. I read a lot of good reviews and decided to try this guest house but it turned out really bad. It depends on luck whether you can get a satisfied room with proper facilities. If you would like to stay at this hotel, don't look for a family room if you will travel in a 4 persons group, look for 2 rooms with SINGLE BED(S) instead.

They couldn't find my reservation, and when they did find my reservation (which I paid in advance for by credit card) they said they never received my payment and I was forced to pay again and contact hotels.com later for a refund on the double payment.

WHAT more can you ask for with that kind of price? A safe, fridge, electronic lock with key card, daily make up room and fresh towel, even a button to select \"Do Not Disturb\" or \"Make up Room\". Easily the best among the area. However, the room may deem too small especially visitors from the European countries.

Spotlessly clean and a few steps from the bus stop

This hotel is well managed and spotlessly clean. It is only a few steps from the bus stop to and from the airport. It is also near an MRT (underground train) station and in an area with many shops. However, it is in an old run down tower block. There are many hotels in the block and this is one of the better ones. You will be happier with your choice of you don't expect a window or any floor space other than that required to get in and out of bed. There are groups of rooms off a hall leading from the main hall. Each group of rooms has a card entry door, so with the lock on your room, it seems fairly secure. The rooms are tiled but without any style whatsoever. Each hall has a water supply, a microwave and a hot water jug. Just remember that every square meter of space in Hong Kong costs money, so for what you pay, this hotel is a good deal. You would have to pay eigh times more for a room with a window and a bit more room.

One of the good guest houses!

Even though this hotel is a little hard to find, once you've found it it's in the perfect spot! Easily accessible (literally 2 seconds walk away from Tsim Sha Sui MTR station), comfortable for the price, and private. The bathroom is pretty small but I hear that's standard in HK and it was fine for two people. Great for budget travellers looking for somewhere to sleep between running around the city and eating everything in sight!

Good except for the slaming doors.

The guest house's location is at Nathan road which is very convenient and close to eating places. The
Airbus service from airport stops about 50 metres away. Room is very small - same size as the double bed. But its the same in budget hostels in Hong Kong.However, I wish there is a way to dampen the sound of closing room doors as our neighbouring rooms' doors slam shut very loudly. Counted, one night, more than 50 slamming from 8.30 to 12 midnight.The TV provided is hopelessly out of focus and snowny. Reception was informed of this to no avail.

The hotel was very small. But for this price it's ok. It has everything you need in this small hotel. Many Indians hanging around the area. It can get very noisy at night because it is near the main road. Can't sleep well. Stayed for 3 days and out of that, heard gang fights for 2 nights in the middle of the night. Bed is very hard. Can't sleep well again. Will not stay here again.

Check in is somewhat difficult because it's on a separate floor from the actual rooms, but the room was clean. The bathroom is small and the whole room serves as the shower, but that's the same as all the Chungking and Mirador Mansion rooms I assume. For the price, it's not bad. This place is also a million times better than being in Chungking Mansion. The elevator lines aren't as long and it's not as chaotic on the bottom floor.

The decision of choosing Pearl is location. Understood that it's guest house and shouldn't expect big room and nice environment, however, guest house staff are nice and willing to help in anything.

Good location

The building quite old, not too clean and got only 1 elevators for our floor. And even the room was so small but it was clean enough. Staff was very nice and helpful.

it is quite very short visit but i enjoy roaming around the city.I planned to comeback in the future with my friends. I wish i had more time to visit all the tourist destinations there.. Hope to see you again..

The room is small as expected cause we all know Hong Kong is pack place. The bed was not so clean because I guess bed sheet was not dried could be due to weather. Hope they can use a dryer to dry the bed sheet.
If you person who is budget wise. You can take this option. Cause mostly you will be outside for whole day. The price is reasonable!

Odd location but very decent

Funny old HK building. Hard to decide where the office was located initially. Staff were very nice, room was spotlessly clean (tiny like most in Hong Kong) but also quiet. Excellent free Wi Fi, AC worked very well. I will go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head for a short stay in Hong Kong. A pleasant surprise.

Perfect accommodation for budget travelers

A21 bus (HKD$33 Fare) from the HK Airport takes you to Nathan Road. Get off at stop #14 in front of Chungking Mansion. Only a couple minutes walk to Mirador Mansion which is the next building to your left when you are facing the buildings. The elevators are to your right as you enter the building. Registration is on the 16th floor. They manage a few guesthouses. The staff might lead you to your room in a different floor.
The staff is very friendly. Housekeeping changed my bath towel everyday. The small on demand water boiler has endless hot water for my shower. The split air conditioner and the exhaust fans for my windowless room is quiet. A small LCD TV and hairdryer is on the wall. Free WiFi & free local calls from the touch tone phone in the room. Hot & cold drinking water & microwave is available in the hall.
All in all, this is a nice and clean place for budget travelers to explore Hong Kong no matter which direction you are heading. This is the 2nd year I stayed here. I stayed 4 nights last year and 7 nights this time. I will definitely keep coming back. I've recommended this place to all my friends since my last stay.
