I wish I could give this 0 star. No towels. Had to ask 3 times. The staff is rude. Night staff guy has some personal issues. . No room service. No iron . No nothing . Avoid at all cost. The lower price will attract to book this hotel . There are many option near by . Never will stay here again .

The hotel is good for its price as well as Taksim location but the surrounding area is not a nice one. There are many cafes and 24/7 markets but the street is smelly and dirty. There are also all kinds of people around day and night, walking at night is not unsafe but it feels like it.

I didn't like anything of this horrible hotel. It's cheap but isn't worth it. The bathroom ceiling was black because of the mold. I don't wanna continue because I feel depresed 😔

Bad experience and waste of my money

Too much noise 24 hours especially mid night, arguments and shouting down the road, electricity cut, very weak and regular cut with the internet service, bed sheets and towels are so dirty and not clean at all , even after I mentioned that to the reception on many occasions

CC from my recent message to Expedia:

You are informed that the hotel we reserved was a fraud.
We checked in and out immediately, as the room was nothing remotedly similar to what was advertised.
The employee admitted he has such complaints every single time, and we avoided any further argument since there is no refunding. Yet, we preferred to leave immediately than negotiate any room change.
Please review your policy of no refund for this property, and remove it from your lists. It is a fraud. We can send you photos to compare to advertisement for yourself.
We hope there is some hope for refund - they said no refund because reservation money goes through expedia, so you are involved in this situation as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Terrible cleaning service. For 5 nights I had my room cleaned only one time. The heater worked the first night only. Towels and sheets were changed only one time. We ran short of toilet papers. It took more than one hour to do the check in. If I plan to go Istanbul again I would never chose taksim palace hotel.

Cheap place for short stay

Localization is quite far from touristic area. Metro station is close. Room was very small but it was clean and quite. Air condition was working very good. WiFi was working. Personnel was very nice and they speak English.

Close to the action, bed for the night

You get what you pay for, better than a hostel, situated in a \"colourful\" but interesting area, sadly there is another hotel by the same name nearby so beware of you're researching as it's probably a different hotel , the other hotel is in a noisy street, I don't regret staying here as we spent very little time here, I would say it was adequate but I'm not too fussy, the hotel was very well worn, the staff are kind and obliging and do long hours, we never used the roof top it was covered in, views for the hotel in our room were very good, we had a balcony.

If you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay in Istanbul, this is fine. Its very simple, but again, cheap and in a decent location. Walking distance to Taksim Sq.

Das Hotel war eine pure Katastrophe. Wir hatten den Notausgang direkt im Zimmer, d.h man könnte von draußen aus in unser Zimmer reinkommen. Beim Check-In wurde uns der Schlüssel einfach in die Hand gedrückt, ohne zu sagen welche Etage es ist. Das Zimmer war sehr alt und das Badezimmer unbenutzbar

Das Zimmer auf der 6. Etage war übel. Das Bad voller Deckenschimmel. Ekelerregend. Der Schlafraum klein mit ekeligen Vorhängen, Blutpflecken. An einer Seite fehlte der Vorhang. Das Hotel hat eine finstere Seitenstraßenlage mit dreckiger Umgebung. Eine abends angsteinflößende Gegend. Bin froh, dass nichts schlimmes Passiert ist.

Es war schmutzig, eklig und dreckig! Die Dusche war kaputt die Wände in der Dusche waren heruntergekommen, eine Berührung hat gerreicht damit die Wand bricht! Das Bett war voller Haare und Löcher und Blut! Insekten überall und Insektenreste an der Wand! Es gab keine Balkontür nur die äußere Wand! Das Gebäude roch nach mariuhans

Het was een ramp na inchecken ons kamer gekregen en we doen de deur open met een ‘ sleutel’ en mijn echtgenoot krijgt n balk op zyn hand. We zyn nr de receptie gegaan ze konden niets doen en spraken zelfs amper tege ons. Hierna hebben we een nieuwe boeking gemaakt we konden er niet blijven alles was vuil. Een regelrechte ramp en helaas een slechte begin van een citytrip.

J'ai fait jne reservation pour 2 nuit et j'ai quitte apres avoir passe la 1ere nuit car On m'a attribue un apprt tres sale qui n'est meme pas dans l'hotel, dans la chambre il y a un chaufo d'eau dont tu sens le gaz brule qui provient de ce dernier j'ai du passe la nuit avec la fenetre ouverte meme s'il faisait froid et il y avait trop de bruit. Tres mauvais emplacement surtout pour les familles car c'est un quartier connu par la prostitution. En general je me suis fait arnaque car les photos qu'on voit sur le site ne sont pas reelles et j'ai parle avec le receptioniste il m a dit dsl je ne peux rien faire moi je suis un simple salarie ici.

Die reinste Katastrophe!!! Das dreckigste Hotel, das ich jemals gesehen habe! Die Zimmer sind dreckig, die Wände sind dreckig, das Bad ist verschimmelt und es tropfte von der Decke. Die Leisten waren zum Teil abgerissen, der Fenstergriff war lose, die Gardinen waren voller brauner Flecken (ähnlich wie menschl. Kot), die Küchenschränke waren verdreckt mit Fettschichten und Staub, überall krabbelten Kakalaken ähnliche Viecher rum, die Lüftung im oberen Geschoss war so laut dass man nicht schlafen konnte, Bettlacken war dreckig. Die Möbel wie Komode und Stühle waren klebrig und verdreckt. Also kurz und knapp: die reinste KATASTROPHE!!! Ein Versuch, den Hotelleiter zu sprechen ging in die Hose. Er hat uns abgewiesen und gesagt \"Wer mehr will, muss mehr zahlen!\" Für das Geld was wir bezahlt haben (2 Nächte, 3 Tage = 60 Euro = ca. 400 TL) sei das Zimmer völlig Ok meinte der Hotelleiter. Er hat uns Beispiele gegeben wie \"man kann ein BMW nicht mit einem FIAT vergleichen. Wer BMW fahren will muss mehr blechen\" meinte er. Ein sehr unhöflicher, arroganter und respektloser Mensch. Wir hatten ehrlich gesagt keine besonderen Ansprüche. Uns war es nur wichtig, dass das Zimmer sauber ist, mehr nicht. Aber nicht mal das haben die hinbekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption kann weder richtig türkisch noch englisch. Wir haben uns z.T. per Zeichensprache verständigen müssen. Ungeschultes und ungebildetes Personal. Nachts ist es in dieser Gegend sehr laut. Es gibt keine Nachtruhe! NIE WIEDER!!!!
