I was really disappointed with my stay. The room was extremely cramped with barely any space to walk, the bathroom was only separated by a curtain, and there was a persistent bad drain smell. The floors didn’t feel clean, and although the bedding looked clean, it still had hair on it. To make things worse, the receptionist tried to double the price compared to what we booked online, though thankfully Expedia stepped in and resolved it. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Shower recess on 1st floor has no curtain or door, no holder for the shower head nor hooks for towels or clothing. Toilet seat is fidgety to make stay up. One can though go to the 2nd floor that at least has the door and the holder. The kitchen equipment was just OK. These are the only reasons for 3-star rating. Also, I've noticed this and some other hostels I stayed at in İstanbul claim to have laundry facility. That's mostly belying as they are just laundromats nearby. You have to clarify that with the hostel if you want on-site laundry.

I wish I could post pictures of the bathroom here. So disgusting. There was hair everywhere. The toilet seat and flush was broken. There was water all over the floor. At night, it is hot, stuffy and noisy. There is moist smell when you sleep. I was given a locker but it was taken by someone else and i had my valuables in the open. If you have some extra money go somewhere else. I think for 5$ more you can get a decent Airbnb with a room and washroom to yourself. Never again

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Ein großes Handtuch wurde jeden Tag frisch zur Verfügung gestellt, ebenso wurden die Betten jeden Tag frisch bezogen. Man hat im Zimmer 2 Möglichkeiten, seine Sachen zu verstauen, einen Spint mit Schlüssel und Schubladen unter den Betten (mit eigenem Schloss verschließbar). Das Frühstück war gut, auch als Spätaufsteher wurde man satt. Das Personal ist total nett und hilfsbereit, man hat 24/7 einen Ansprechpartner. Insgesamt eine total entspannte Atmosphäre, wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer.

Great location base to reach many parts of the huge city to explore then return to chill. Staff were really friendly and helpful! They have many superb recommendations on areas to explore as I was overwhelmed on which parts to explore.

The staff was really helpful. The location is good, at walking distance from many shops and a supermarket, as well as the Galata Tower. The breakfast is included and they offer cheese, some veggies (tomatoes and cucumber), bread, cereals, coffee, tea and juice. They also include towels and give you fresh ones everyday, which is unusual for hostels. The bunks have curtains which gives a little bit of privacy and the facilities seem very new.

Also, the poor drainage meant that the edges and corners of the floor were horribly black. The plastic cover over the toilet flush buttons kept falling off and at one point the sliding door fell off too but I managed to get it back on without having to call any staff.

Good hostel, close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Comfortable and clean. Had a slight problem on first night where I was put in wrong room but this was rectified on the 2nd night. I missed my flight for my planned arrival meaning I had to change my private transfer from airport which came as part of my deal. Eshan at the hostel sorted all of this out for me quickly, thanks again!

One thing you have to know about this room that no one told us... We got the private room (deluxe) - the sink, shower and the toilet are all together behind a glass door. So essentially, when you take a shower, you're going to wet the entire toilet seat and floor all around it, meaning you'll have to dry the toilet seat afterwards to use the toilet and also stand in water unless it's dried already. Room was cold. Remote for heater didn't work. When finally worked, heater ran all night and the room was still freezing. Front desk didn't have simple things like a map of the area. Site said self-serve laundry, but laundry is down the street from hostel. There is not any 'hostel' vibe at all with a small, uninspiring common area. Super steep stairs as well. Wouldn't recommend this place. Pretty good location is only main benefit.

I do not recommend this hostel, it is crap. The staff are extremely racist. I just spoke to a white woman in the room and the staff came and threatened me and warned me that they were going to call the police. They put me in another room where I was alone until the end of my stay. Because I am a black person. I will not return to this hostel.

The location is great if you want to be in the heart of Istanbul. It's very close to Istiklal street and you will find many restaurants and bars within a minutes walk of the hostel. The staff (Ehsan) is really friendly.

The rooms are well air-conditioned so you can control the temperature as you like. And the windows are well isolated so you can barely hear the noise from the busy crowded streets at night. The windows are with thick curtains, so if you want you can enjoy long sleep without the sun bothering you.

Our building do not have place to add elevator but our staff will be happy to help you carrying your luggage with pleasure.
