Absolutely loved it, especially Mr. Karim's (manager) and the staff's attitude. It was warm, welcoming. I had an online exam and they provide me with a mirror for security check. They let us use their storage room to place our luggage. Also, they cooperate with us to stay a few hours overtime free of charge.

The location for this property is perfect if you want to immerse yourself in the bustling istiklal street. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and every request was completed quickly. Karem and his team were AMAZING and always helpful. Breakfastt options were good and the chef had prepared a lot of delicious warm menu items. The rooms (connecting family) we stayed in, however, are smaller than usual but if you choose the suite or king room, there is plenty of space and a bigger bathroom. I would suggest rooms 501 I would definitely stay here again next time.

Get the suite if you can as all other rooms face the busy street. The lift is in the middle so all rooms will be affected by the noise. Rooms are extremely small. Bathrooms are very compact. We were transferred to a suite after we slept in a room which was not cleaned. The manager was very apologetic and kind. He ensured the rest of our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. The coffee shop just below the hotel is good. Would recommend this hotel as it is in the heart of everything but if you are a light sleeper then no. Get the suites where the room is at the back. Beds are very soft and bouncy so not very comfortable. Lots of convenient late night bars and cafes around.

An Small Gem in A HUGE City
With so many hotels in Istanbul to choose from - finding the right hotel cam be a bit overwhelming - however after reading the reviews about this hotel I decided it was worth trying - and SO HAPPY I DID - 1st the staff is WONDERFUL / kind - they go out of their way to make you feel welcome with all requests granted ... As well the manager Kerim takes great pride in making certain all guest needs are taken care of - 2nd the LOCATION COULD NOT BE BETTER - PERFECT ! Shopping / restaurants - night life / YET with NO NOISE / Close to the main shopping street less then a minute away / 20 minutes walk to Galalaport with its restaurants and new shops / EVERYTHING you need at your door step ! ... 3rd cost GREAT VALUE for your money - IF you desire a wonderful / memorable stay then you need look no further ... I already booked my next holiday in this AMAZING / CREATIVE / VIBRANT and KIND HEARTED CITY !

Pera parma is an excellent hotel, the location is perfect, in the middle of istiklal street, they have a very good coffee shop opened 24/24.
Also, they have a very good breakfast.
The special things in this hotel:
1 Historical (since 1895) if I remember
2 Safe and near to istiklal street (30-35m)
3 Not noisy, because all the hotels near to istiklal street are very noisy at night because of the music in the night clubs, but in pera parma, realy, we didn't hear anything, I think because of the sound proofing rooms.
4 Perfect for families, because you will find the respect and the calm in this hotel, not like other hotels and you know what i'm talking about :)
5 This is the last and the important point, the staff in pera parma is exceptional, where ever you go, reception, coffee shop, restaurant.... all the staff are very helpfull and very kind, especially the guys in the reception, one them helped me a lot during my stay, his name is Şahin, he was always there for us, he made many reservations for us with trusted companies (thanks for that again), and as I said all the staff was exceptional, they speak english very well, you will not find any problem with them.
Also, in the coffee shop, the staff are very kind, especially Seymen and the girl who was there at morning (I don't know your name sorry).
To resume, it's an awesome hotel that worth the money value.

Great location, in the heart of Istanbul and 30 seconds away from Istiklal street. The staff were very friendly and helped us with keeping our luggage as we domestically flew from Istanbul. The room was a bit tight and the toilets were small, you will compromise on comfort a bit for the great location and decent price.

The hotel has a good rating , yet it was not up to it. The location is great, few steps from Istiklal street , and two metro stations. The building is old, they are trying to keep the authenticity, yet it was not taken care of properly, my room's curtens were hanging loose, there was a horrible smell in the bathroom. Even the towels were not cleaned properly. I don't think i would be back there, and i don't recommand it.

The location was a narrow squeeze, since the street did not allow parking outside the hotel entrance. Luggage removal from/to taxi, meant, holding up the traffic behind your vehicle.
The room could use a chair instead of a stool. Electric Power sockets to charge cell/laptops, were in hard to reach places.

INCREDIBLE STAY!
First of all, the staff at this hotel is amazing! We were given coffee upon arrival from the coffee shop next door. We felt so welcome. We were also upgraded. The room is beautiful and spacious. The WiFi and the A/C work great. The location of the hotel is spectacular. It is walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We cannot wait to come back and stay!

The hotel was better than I'd imagined. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and all amenities were there. The breakfast was good. It is located right off the main street so within walking distance of everything and very close to the metro. I would definitely return here!

Beautifully designed small city hotel
My experience here was great, the location in very center and staff are great, they work hard to make you feel right at home. Rooms are not very big but very comfortable, the closet is heated (very convenient, specially in winter time), good buffet breakfast. Downstairs there is a lovely small coffee shop that opens 24 hours. The hotel is very nicely decorated and very clean. I will definitely stay here in my next trips to Istanbul.
