The air condition unit was really loud. I ended up turning it off. Then the mini fridge was also loud. I had a hard time falling asleep, then the alarm went off at midnight. The Spa was cold and the pool was freezing.For those leaving early , don't have your child talking right outside peoples doors. My stay would of been a lot better if the units weren't so noisy. Tired traveler.

The rooms were decent enough for the area. The issues is that we picked that hotel because of the online information that it served Continental breakfast. When we got there and asked, the front desk said that they had not served Continental breakfast for years but had not changed the online information. Only waffles and cereal. That's misleading. I could have stayed at similar hotel for $20 less for that.

Clean room, nice staff, close to freeways and nice restaurants nearby. Best dog fee price in the area.
Yes, its a continental breakfast. They have juice, coffee, muffins, toast, cereal and waffles. No proteins but most continental dont offer proteins.
The hot tub was hot & really nice after hiking around the Petrified Forest.

Was basically new rooms recently renovated. However the toilet was small snd low to the ground which made it hard to sit. The ice make in the front never had any ice so couldnt get ice for dri ks etc. Breakfast was ok but could have used some variety in danish/muffins. Not everyone is a fan of waffles either. Did not have sweetener other than sugar or sweet n low for the coffee.

All that being said, would i stay there again while visiting Holebrook? Id have to say yes.

The room really smelled like an old motel, it seemed clean, just cheap smelling. I ended up with a cough after that because of the cleaner which I think was the smell. In a really bad area. The pool and hot tub were good. The free breakfast was terrible, a lot of non healthy items. It would of been better with yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Something with protein.

We were travelling with friends. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained for an older motel. Serafina the front desk person was very welcoming and gracious. When the ice machine was not working she was able to get it working again for us quickly. We were given great recommendations for dining in the community. Even though the motel appeared to be full and hear a main highway it was super quiet!

The room was great and very comfortable. There were plenty of plugins that some hotels don't have. There was parking but may be further away from your door if you arrive late. Breakfast was scant but they did have waffles. Yogurt would have been a nice. Toilet paper was the usual thin but strong so satisfactory. Heater was not noisy at all and the room was quiet. Good for sleeping.

Ck’d in @4pm. Had to listen to staff overhead for 90+min, sounded like moving furniture. Heater/AC not working, difficult to operate, fan just blew same neutral air regardless of set temperature. Awful pillows!!! Didn’t use shower b/c of some cleanliness issues in bathroom. Oh, and did I mention, AWFUL pillows. No cups provided. Will not stay at Travelodge again.

We reserved the mobility accessible room which was great but there was only one handicapped parking spot (which was right in front of our room) but was already occupied when we got there. It would be helpful to have a couple at least. Otherwise, great place, and very friendly helpful staff!

Stayed here in the past while visiting family. Parking is difficult with the spaces being narrow. Very difficult getting in and out of my car with other vehicles parked next to me. They posted that the indoor pool and hot tub was available at certain hours. It was never open when I stayed.

I never got to stay here. Expedia has a dirty trick they like to play where the reservation nights get switched at the last minute. Be careful. Good site for booking but the software plays games of bait and switch. It should be illegal.

We have stayed at this Travelodge for many years and it is consistent. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable and clean with excellent staff! And they provide a breakfast. They have an enclosed pool and workout room as well!

The stay was average no bells or whistles. But the check out process is horrendous. They send you an online form and don’t abide by it. I didn’t put my do not disturb sign in my door in the morning when I left for a few hours and they assumed I had checked out. Stole all my food and gave it to staff children… of which I witnessed.

Stayed here for one night on a road trip. I stay on Holbrook often for this trip so I knew where to look. Decent rate, comfy enough and finally made it to a continental breakfast, for whoch i only did cereal and coffee but it was appreciated and helpful.

I guess the only thing I found unique was the theme of the place. I reserved for two days and the cards should have stayed active until we left. So after we came back from our tour of the petrified forest, we were locked out and no one was in the office when I sought help. Thankfully they have cameras so it didn't take too long for assistance. Other than that, it was quite nice.

The cleaning staff was amazing, but the dryer needs replacing it left my clothes damp. One front desk staff member on the other hand is very unprofessional he made a clerical error in my bill and proceeded to cuss and yell when i asked him to fix it. Other than this hurt young man everything else was adequate.

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great/hot unlike other hotels. Pool was not freezing. Didn't do breakfast but apple juice and orange juice. They had waffle makers and cereal, toast. Room shower was good pressure and temperature. Only negative was the floor should be cleaned. Feet got dirty walking across. Staff at at night was helpful and morning person had a very happy disposition. We would look to stay again.

The staff members are always professional, attentive, and helpful. The owner and his staff work diligently to meet the needs of hotel guests and at keeping the property clean. Everything was grest other then the tv kept turning off and when it stayed on it would freeze up about every 15 sec or so ans make it hard to watch tv so i turned it off for my stay
Also there were a ton of ants in the bathroom but after i went and i went to the store and got spray they never came back

Best motel in the US!

I'm a traveler from Japan and stayed here three times during my stay in the US.
I've stayed at a lot of motels but this one is my favorite.
The rooms are very clean and the staff are nice.
In particular, the front desk staff, who was probably Chinese, was very kind in explaining things to me, who is not good at English.
I probably won't see him again, but I'll never forget him.

Value for money old style motel

Picture a motel from 2015. Cars parking outside the room. Fridge in room. Aircon by the window. You got this hotel.
Staff are working hard. First impression terrible from the roadside from I40 but actually good when you park. Breakfast is standard and plentiful with sufficient seating.
I really enjoyed the stay. TV not working, reception take 45 minutes but sort it. You know what you are getting, value for money.

I was out town for an event. This is my second time I've stayed here. The first one ..I actually had some sleep..the second one was not so good. Someone was banging on my door late at night..looking for his keys and did a quick glance inside. Not good.w Whoever stayed next door was very loud and talking and commotion all night. I had a restless night.

This is a bare bones motel. Rooms are very small and cramped. A/C-Heater was very loud. Heater was mounted under window and opposite the bathroom, this meant that the bathroom was always a little cold unless you made the room uncomfortably warm. Outside temps were around 18°F so you had to run the heater pretty much all night.
Tv and appliances are old, but work. The tv was only a 32\" which I feel is a bit small in this day and age. The microwave was also old. It had a dial for Low-Med-High settings and a dial timer (like an old fashion egg timer) to set run time, which was impossible to see how long it would run for since the numbers were worn off. There was a small refrigerator in the room, but it was missing a rubber leg and so it sat at an angle making it difficult to store liquids without them spilling.
There is no elevator, so we had to pay extra for a downstairs room since I have a service connected disability and cannot climb stairs.
Motel ad says pet friendly, but they have no place to exercise or let your pets relieve themselves. There is a small open area near the motel, but we quickly found out that it was full of bur-weed stickers and spend the next 20-30 min picking them out of our dogs paws.
Outside of having to pay more for a room due to my disabilities, there is nothing majorly wrong with the motel it is just a cheap motel and you should expect to get what you pay for.

Check in was easy, but when I told them I tried to call ahead for information they said I didn't and then said I must have called during the day. Well, they were right I did call during the day, like most people do. Unfortunately, we could not sample the breakfast because it doesn't start until 7am, but that is ok. The room was clean, but we could not use the bathroom light because the fan was like a freight train. Luckily there was a bright light that shined right in the bathroom window. We did have to clip the curtains closed because they would not stay closed, but there were hangers with pants clips on them so it worked out.

Horrible experience. At check-in, the person at the desk did not communicate at all. He would not answer questions asked and had a kind of attitude and very RUDE while saying anything. The room was pretty bad, bathroom door didnt lock, bed sheets had lot of stains, roaches in the closet area. At check-out, we left at around 6:45 am and the same person was at the check-in desk. He didnt even open the front door for us to enter and get information we wanted. He looked at us standing at the door and kept doing what he was doing. Really bad experience and would NOT recommend anyone to stay here. Apart from the bad customer service at the front desk, the Hotel is in pretty bad shape too. DO NOT STAY HERE.

A good night sleep before continuing on to our final destination. Although the breakfast was mostly carbs, it was sufficient to get you on the road with food in your stomach.
All good, but did think the night clerk who checked us in was a bit rude.
