Door deadbolt wasn’t working. I had a late check in. Very tired and had to go to sleep after 28 hr of traveling Ended up stuffing a towel between the door and the frame so that would be hard for someone to open it. Very unsafe but I was so tired that I crashed regardless

Warm night in Sibiu!

The room was a bit warm and the only way to cool it off was to open the window and occasionally you would hear a plane landed or take off.

Poor Customer Service

The staff (middle age man) shown not friendly and no smiling during check in.
I got the small corner room which window placed near the rooftop, I do not mind just 1 night stay with small room.
However, we can’t open the window to let cold air in and end up caused stuffy. I am from South East Asia need cold but not hot in the room.
I requested to have remote control on the aircon but was rejected by the front desk. Answer from him is now not winter but Autumn.
Therefore with no choice I requested to change the room, I explained to him I do not need heater but need cold air from outside, he was reluctant but agreed my request.
Hotel is nice, breakfast is very good, room is comfort but poor customer service

Nice wooded area at edge of town

A little hard to find and about a mile from the old town but quite nice. There was a dangerous sharp edge on the patio window sill we cut ourselves on and they didn’t seem too interested when we reported it. Other than that it was fine.

Comfortable Hotel Outside City Center

The hotel is away from the center of the city so a car is needed, but it is located next to a very nice local park. The front desk and breakfast staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Nice clean hotel in excellent location, walking distance to city center. Covered dedicated parking, free, makes a big difference. Price very competitive. I would recommend it and stay there again. It is not a 5 star hotel and does not advertise itself as one, but it is an excellent choice with no negative issues at all.

Best Western Silva, a sure value.

Good value hotel adjacent to a big parc and 10 - 15 min walk from town center. Room, with view on the parc with king size bed is well agenced. Morning breakfast is correct and plentiful and service is pleasant and helpful. Definitively a sure value as most Best Western hotels are.

Excellent hotel with car parking. A spacious room with dark curtains ensuring a good night's sleep. Good value. 20 minute walk to the town centre. the only issue was the wifi as it was not passworded so we weren't prepared to risk it.

Due to flight delay we arrived 7 hours late but staff were welcoming and delightful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The shower room looked newly refurbished. Breakfast had all the choices. Good value

Awesome place to stay in Sibiu

This really is an awesome place to stay for the price. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (perhaps the most helpful hotel staff in the country!), the rooms are renovated, modern and super comfortable. The breakfast has a lot of options and is a great way to start the day. The location is outside the old city (about 20 minute easy walk away) but it's located in a beautiful park and the peacefulness of the area is very appealing. I have zero complaints and have now stayed here every year for the past three years.

Pleasant stay in a nice hotel located in the heart of a park @ 15 min walk to the Old City of Sibiu. New furniture and a big, clean bathroom + a balcony with park view. The breakfast was lovely and full of choices. Only one thing bothered us: some loud guests were making a lot of noise during the night so there's a lack of soundproofing.

Do not be accommodated in weekend!!!

much noise and loud music because it was the weekend and it was a wedding until 12 pm. I am not sure if it's ok to a 4-star hotel. At least they could accommodate us in a room away from the restaurant, but at night when I called reception to reclam noise, they told me I had to ask at reception when I checked in, a room away from the restaurant. How would I know to ask for something ??? Absurd. So do not be accommodated in weekend !!!

overall excellent.

The Hotel was really nice. Very comfy beds, nice soap and shampoo. Super breakfast. Only the shower doors were not closing good and one side was coming out actually. Found different hairs in the bathroom but clean in general. My room was the only one without minibar. electrical issues I have heard. The terrace was nice to stay and enjoy the garden view.

very quick check in/out. personnel very helpful. good breakfast. sufficient parking space, unless weddings hosted. bathroom definitely needs rework (clogged shower drain, etc). clean room, but furniture looks salvaged. minibar prices decent, ditto content (no hard liquors, though). tv set mini sized. great location. airy building.

When I first arrived at the hotel I was met with the rudest most unhelpful person I have ever met , firstly he gave me a room on the 3rd floor which had a really awful smell I asked to change rooms , he gave me the room next door which was just as bad if not worse than the first, again I asked to change rooms and he said \"what do you expect for a cheap hotel \" he would not give me another room saying hotel was fully booked, and I could speak to the manger the next day in the morning the manager called me to ask if I wanted to change rooms which I obviously did , he gave me a room on the second floor which was lovely at no extra cost.

By far the most helpful staff of any hotel I've stayed at in Romania during my dozens of visits over the past 4 years. So that was a great first impression. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the hotel is quiet, sits right in a nice park and is only 20 minutes walk to the Old Town. The included breakfast was much better than I could have expected and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again at all. Great experience.

We stayed two nights and would have liked to have stayed another night but they were booked out. extremely conveniently located beside a beautiful park. A supermarket is just 5 mins while the old city of Sibiu with its amazing public square and heritage buildings are just 20 mins walk away.
They have WiFi but our room was a little too far away from the modem to get reliable reception. Elsewhere in the hotel was fine.
Breakfast on the flower strewn terrace overlooking the fountain and the adjacent park was enjoyable and idyllic.
Highly recommended.

very comfortable stay, great room, nice and big with balcony. Ate in hotel both nights we stayed there, can't fault the food it was really good. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok for me but you don't get bacon, egg and sausage. no complaints from me would stay again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Although not located in the historic centre of Sibiu, it is close by in a nice quiet neighbourhood overlooking parkland. The room was big and well fitted with a balcony. The restaurant was very good, and the hotel staff helpful and pleasant. It was just a pity that the swimming pool was not in use.

Really pleasant hotel

This hotel is located in beautiful wooded parkland which extends to more than 3 kilometres. We enjoyed walks in it daily. It's about a 15 minutes walk to the Old Town centre or an inexpensive taxi ride. There's a lovely terrace, much used for its pleasant views - we took breakfast there every day. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and the dinner menu is wide-ranging and the food of great quality Staff are helpful and do their best even when their English is limited. Reception staff are very helpful and speak several languages.Our room was a very good size with good facilities and great air-conditioning, much-used as it was very hot for most of our stay. All in all, we can definitely say that if we return to Sibiu we would stay here again.

The hotel is located in the main park and within 20 min walking to the city center. Very clean, looks like brand new. Breakfast good and plenty of choices. Friendly personnel. Secure parking. The is price is also ally affordable. Definetely I would stay again in this hotel and recommend it.

They are revamping the rooms (nice) and two things that are not so good one is no lighting above the desk so trying to work in the room is in the semi gloom. Also a new trendy bathroom with a big sink but no where to actually put things around the sink i.e unpack your wash bag unless you want to put items underneath the sink on a shelf and in all probability leave something behind. Also don't go in for tea and a kettle in the room either

die Zimmer sind wunderbar renoviert, man fühlt sich sehr wohl, sie sind sauber. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Einzig das Frühstück war sehr dürftig. Es gab kaum Auswahl. Es könnte damit Zusammenhängen, dass mein Aufenthalt zwischen die Jahre fiel, und nicht viele Gäste im Haus waren. Dennoch gebe ich dafür einen Punkt Abzug, sonst ist die Unterkunft sehr gut.

Direkt neben der Fussballarena und einem riesigen Park, 15 Minuten zu Fuss von der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und für einen Städtetrip mehr als genug. Frühstück auch reichliche Auswahl, es könnte frischer sein, aber PreisLeistungsverhältnis stimmt!

Hotel liegt direkt am schönen Park, gute Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Altstadtzentrum durch ruhige Straßen. Zimmer sehr schön, alles tipptopp. Rezeption sehr freundlich. Hotelrestaurant/ Frühstücksraum lässt Charme vermissen, landestypisches Frühstücksbuffet etwas lieblos aber grundsätzlich ok. Würde wiederkommen. Preis-Leistung voll ok.

Wir haben mit unseren zwei Kindern eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Der Check In war, trotz der späten Zeit, sehr nett. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Der alte Geruch der Einrichtung war etwas störend. Das Frühstück war in Buffet Form und in einem ordentlichen Umfang. Dieses Hotel ist im großen und ganzen zu empfehlen.

Todo muy bien, personal amable, habitaciones espaciosas, bonitas y confortables, todo limpio.
Un punto menos por el acceso, llegue de noche con el navegador y como esta por un callejon detras de otro hotel me ha chocado un poco, deberian de poner unas indicaciones mas visibles. Y la entrada para sillas de ruedas, carritos deberia de ser mas amplia y mas facil de utilizar.
Nota general es alta, el hotel muy bien, el desayuno preparado con mucho mimo.

Verouderd, lampen defect, douchewand liet los, grote kamer, van alle gemakken voorzien.
Indien achterzijde dan is er geen uitzicht dan daken en bovenkant bomen.
Prima ontbijt en restaurant alleen mogen sommige obers wat vriendelijker zijn.

Gefallen hat uns die Lage vom Hotel, direkt am Park. Wir konnten jeden morgen draußen frühstücken. Nachts kein Straßenlärm. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
