The staff were lovely and welcoming. We stayed for our 1st year’s marriage anniversary in the standard triple room. The room was nice and clean, albeit a lot cosier than in the photos. Sufficient for a couple but could be a little cramped for more.

The building is quite old and the walls are thin, however the brickwalls adds to the charm of the place.

Its location is ideal for anyone who wishes to visit the Grand Bazar, Bacila Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Haga Sophia, Balat, etc. Can all be easily walked to or via bus or tram from the nearby station

Basic Room is tight & wifi very weak

This Basic Room only has a small opening not window, (situated high above the wall touching the ceiling) for some daylight into the room & noise from the street. This one & only Basic Room is at the basement opposite the kitchen and does not come with attached bathroom. The mattress needs changing. The plus point of this small setup is the very friendly reception that’s helpful & kind.

My recent trip to Istanbul was made all the more memorable by the hotel I chose. Its location was truly perfect, situated within easy walking distance of all the stunning mosques, making my exploration of the city incredibly convenient.

The room itself was a true delight. The balcony provided breathtaking views of the city, especially during the mesmerizing sunsets. Having access to Netflix and efficient air conditioning added a modern and comfortable touch to my stay.

The service at the hotel was impeccable, and the staff's attentiveness made me feel genuinely welcome. What made it even better was that this top-notch experience didn't come with an exorbitant price tag. It was reasonably priced for the quality and comfort it offered.

We had the most amazing time at this hotel. The location is very convenient with great views of the Bosporous. I’d particularly express my appreciation to the staff of the hotel, Lokman was incredibly kind, helpful, and ensured we felt at home, I messaged him several times throughout our stay and he was always so gracious. I forgot the other gentlemen name as we only interacted with him once (he is from Afghanistan). Their service was superb. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues and hopefully we will be back to Istanbul and will return here again. and the view from the terrace? THE BEST in the city!

I have had a great experience with this hotel. This is exactly the place, if you want to feel the old city of Istanbul. The location is very convenient with great views of the Bosporous. The breakfast was delicious like all other turkish breafast we have tried. And best of all you stay close to the train station and most places to visit are a few minutes by walk. An authentic and unforgettable experience

This stay was one of the best experiences I have had travelling around the world. I highly recommend this hotel for the hospitality of the hosts and its location near to local life and restaurants.

It has a wonderful shared balcony with a beautiful view. There is free water and tea, and a guitar plus some chess boards.

If you would like an authentic experience then go for this choice.

La habitación estaba bien,baño funcional y limpio,con aire acondicionado.Un poco pequeño si es para pasar varios días.Nosotros nos quedamos solo una noche y fue suficiente.Si me hubiese gustado que el check in fuese antes.Llegamos muy cansados de un viaje de 8 h en bus y tuvimos que deambular por Estambul hasta la hora.Si nos dejaron dejar el equipaje hasta la hora del check in

Kendi evimizde gibi hissettik. Personeller inanılmaz ilgiliydi. Otelin konumu çok iyi. Tarihi mekanlara yürüme mesafesindeydi. Metro durağına da çok yakın. Oda temizlik ve ebat olarak yeterliydi. Klima ve sıcak su mevcuttu. Otelin terası harika. Terasta istediğin zaman çay kahve ve soğuk su mevcuttu. Astra butik otele tekrardan gelmek için sabırsızlanıyorum.

El hotel se encuentra entre casas derruidas. Cuenta con una pequeña terraza con bonitas vistas a la ciudad. La habitación parecía bien, hasta el momento de acostarnos. Al levantar lo que pensábamos que era la manta, nos encontramos con un filtro lleno de pelos. Al avisar al recepcionista se muestra indiferente y nos comenta acostarnos sobre la sabana y que no la levantemos. Comentamos que deberian limpiarlo o cambiarlo y su respuesta fue “es de plastico no se puede limpiar”. Tras insistir que queremos algo con lo que cubrirnos nos trae una manta. Después de irse es cuando nos vuelve a contactar para ver si quitando el filtro estaríamos más cómodas. Podría haber empezado por ahi y poner uno limpio pero eso nunca pasó.

Wir sind für 6 Nächte in dem Hotel gewesen. Das Personal war super freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Bei Anliegen konnte man sich sowohl persönlich als auch per WhatsApp bei ihnen melden und man hat auch schnell eine Antwort bekommen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Galata Tower, Grand Basar oder die blaue Moschee sind gut zu Fuß erreichen aber auch eine Metrostation ist innerhalb 5 Minuten zu erreichen. In der Gegend findet man gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Einheimischen sind ebenfalls hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig aber authentisch. Nur die Sauberkeit der Zimmer könnte etwas verbessert werden.
Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Bursadan budoyla geldiğimiz için yakında bi hotel arayışına girmiştim. Yürüme mesafesiyle 10 dakika süren bi yerde adeta eminönünün göbeğinde bir yer. Terası olsun,odaları olsun,banyosuyla eksiği olmayan bir hotel. Kaldığımız süre boyunca herhangi bir şeyin eksikliğini hiç yaşamadık. Hotel zaten osmanlı zamanından kalan bir bina olduğu için antik yapısı da çok hoşumuza gitti. Yolum düşerse tekrardan kalmak için sabırsızlanıyorum.

Hallo, ich kann das Hotel niemanden empfehlen. Also ich wat jetzt 1 woche da und das jetzt nie wieder und zu info ich bin 1 woche lang in dem Hotel nicht duschen gegangen, da das wasser immer kalt war und bei mir im Bad Wasserschaden war also von der decke hat immer wasser getropft (wenn ich Bilder und Videos hoch laden kann, werde ich dies tun). Wer natürlich auf Privatsphäre kein wert legt ist hier genau richtig. Mein Zimmer war genau neber der Rezeption also wort wörtlich genau neben dran bzw hinten dran und meine Toilette ebenso. Meine Toilette hatte 2 Türen und vor der einen Tür sitze der Mann an der Rezeption also auf Toilette gehen und sein Geschäft machen (peinlich) und meine Zimmer Tür konnte man ebenso nicht richtig zu machen da war immer eine spalt. Wollte das Zimmer wechseln aber die wollten aufpreis haben. Ich werde Expedia natürlich anschreiben und einen Entschädigung wollen.

Das kleine Hotel ist wie eine Oase mitten in der (noch) heruntergekommenen Umgebung. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig aber authentisch, könnte man sagen. Für Abenteuerlustige ist die Umgebung kein Problem.
Das Personal ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit - ich habe sehr gute Tipps bekommen!
Die Einrichtung an sich ist sehr schön, nur das Zimmer im Untergeschoss hat kein Tageslicht und keine frische Luft - eigentlich für ein Hotelzimmer ungeeignet. Für eine Nacht war es aber OK.
