The hotel itself is really great. Quiet. Lots of places to sit and work if you want to.
The spa and pool was very good. Fitness facility was also well equipped but small.
Biggest issue is that the location doesn’t have a lot of amenities around it. It is near the cargo port. There is a shuttle to Aristotle square but it is infrequent. One day there was no shuttle service. It’s about a half hour walk to Aristotle square. However, it is also very quiet.

Decent hotel. However, staff wasn’t as friendly as expected. If there are guests coming from a whole different country the least you can do is welcome them nicely and speak with respect. I traveled many hours and the person who checked me in gave me the worst attitude.

Thessaloniki is a city that must be seen. The hotel is very close to the center and deserves 5 stars with its quality service. There is a free shuttle to the center every hour. Breakfast and food services are good.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very nice. We booked an \"Exective\" room and it was very lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. Even though the hotel is off the beaten path, we used the shuttle to get into the city which was great! However... when we returned to our room after our evening in the city there was no water at all and when the water finally did come back on there was no hot water. Granted, this may not have been the fault of the hotel and the woman at the front desk was very kind BUT...the bottom line is a hot shower is an expected service and if it isn't provided (for whatever reason) the guests should be compensated. We were not offered any type of refund or compensation and I sent an email to the hotel which received no response. I am interested to see if this review is responded to. I really don't know how to review Hotels.com. If this review receives any type of follow-up I will be happy. If it doesn't, then not so much.

Great hotel and facilities. The gym, pool and spa are excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is a slight walk into city centre and sights, but I like walking. Excellent views of the sea and Port area.

The hotel is very stylish. The room was very nice with good beds and a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was very good and there are two good bars, one on the ground floor and one on the roof. Only drawback was a location about 500m away from the centre, but they run (mostly) an hourly shuttle bus.

It’s a well designed hotel, but not well maintained. You can see how the furniture and common areas have started to fall apart. No tea/coffee maker in room. I personally had a bad experience with their pet policy. 50EUR per stay plus additional 10EUR per day. On top of that there are plenty of restrictions, like if you want to leave your pet in the room it should be in a cage and others like that. So, I wouldn’t recommend. The only reason we book it was because of the underground parking. Location is not ideal, it’s 20-30 min walk from center. And it’s not a nice walk all the way, I mean that part next to harbor. Other than that with pet or not, there are plenty of other far better options in town, even better priced. So, I wouldn’t recommend.

The location wasn't near restaurants nor the waterfront area, but if you have a car or are willing to use buses, then it's not a big negative. The facility is modern, with a lovely rooftop pool area, excellent gym and great breakfast. Our room had a minor balcony but big enough to sit outside. The bed was comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. Overall, an above average hotel for a good price.

I am a huge fan of this hotel. While some quarrel with it being “outside of the city”, it is a three min drive and the rooftop is dynamite. They also have a daily shuttle on the hour! Not sure if they are promoting that enough but it is a huge difference! Big fan of the food on the rooftop and so few hotels have a pool in Thess that you can swim in! This one you can! Loved having a little more space than downtown hotels and being able to work downstairs whenever with an early morning coffee.

We ask for a baby cot and it came a very old and dirty one. The shower door doesn’t seal completely and all the water came out on the bathroom floor. Hotel corridors and carpet looked old. The breakfast variety was really good and we enjoyed it.

Excellent service but everyone I met. Very clean hotel and loved the rooftop pool area. The gym was very well equipped and new. The only downside is the location as it's a bit out of the way. There is a shuttle bus into the city but only during specific hours of the day.

During check-in, they informed us that our room was not yet ready and made us wait for about an hour. The hotel is large, elegant, and beautiful. Unfortunately, the location is not good. There is a shuttle to the city center every hour, but it is difficult to reach places on foot around the hotel. We had booked a superior room. Despite being non-smoking, both the room and the air from the air conditioning smelled like smoke. The breakfast was varied and good. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were very small. The number of sun loungers was also insufficient. We couldn't find any towels. The prices at the pool bar were high, and they didn't serve beer cold enough and in plastic cups. If I wanted to drink beer in a plastic cup, I would go camping.

The neighborhood is unsafe, unlighted and a 50 minute walk to downtown. We booked this property because of the pool, but it was reserved for Greeks only, and the pool attendants were horribly rude and wouldn’t even give us a chair to put our towels. They had parties every night and kept us up. The shuttle was broken and it is NOT a 26 minute walk to town as advertised. It’s at least 45 and the road is not lighted and dangerous. Horrible place!

Very nice hotel! Check-in process with Chris was wonderful! We arrived at 10pm and he was extremely kind, informative and attentive. The restaurant had great tasting options and our waitress (red hair) we feel horrible for not remembering her name, but she was super helpful in assisting us with recommendations in the area (especially during the rain). Nick was also great late in the evening with all of our questions! We absolutely loved the staff. The rooms do not include any free coffee/water, in-room amenities are very limited. Honestly, the only real negative more than anything for us, is that there is not much to do in this location. We had to take a taxi into the main square every day. There's only 1 or 2 descent places to walk to for food as well, other than a grocery store and shopping mall/outlet across the street.

I had stayed before at the hotel and this time the hotel did not meet our expectations. The bathroom was overflown with water every time you had a shower. The breakfast was very poor and pricey (15 € per person) and definitely not worth it. Finally the location is not optimal as it is 30 minutes walk from city center in a neighborhood that is not so safe

We recommend the Met if you are taking a ferry.
The Met Hotel was helpful and arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport, and another for our departure at the ferry terminal (nearby). We used their free shuttle service into the city center and back, twice, so that was nice. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and they sent us with a breakfast to go for our early morning ferry departure.

Truly a top notch establishment. Location is not the best but a simple cab ride for €3 is definitely worth it. Staff was beyond welcoming and friendly. Went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home after a long 22 hour flight. The roof top pool is also spectacular and I loved the breakfast. Thank you to everyone at The Met for kicking off our vacation so beautifully.

The Met is the reference for me in Thessaloniki. Happy that they manage through COVID and that are back there providing good and quality service. The hotel is still running at a slow pace, it seems, but their excellent buffet breakfast-served with all precautions- made its way back. Given the low occupancy the service was particularly friendly and relaxed. They upgraded us to a better room and allowed for very late checkout. Parking also seems to be free. The swimming pool and other rooftop services are just great as usual.
