The plumping needs fixing. The shower squeals and has very little pressure, the hot tap in kitchen needs a new washer. The pillow situation is strange, they are two in one and super thick, and no spares for us side sleepers! The single bed is completely bowed in the middle. The kitchen was great but I still wouldn’t stay again.

Convenient to access St Andrews hospital. The hosts were easy-going and obliging. Rooms were minimalist in provision of furniture and facilities. The buildings need a face-lift and fresh paint, but are clean and satisfactory. The nights were quiet and peaceful.

This property is pretty basic and the decor is very dated but it is also comfortable, clean and conveniently located. We had a room with a double bed and two singles and it was great for a family and quite spacious.

Possible Improvements

A non slip mat and a handrail in the shower recess would be an improvement, especially for elderly clients like ourselves - aged 91 years.

Good location for reason (sport) we were in Toowoomba for. Easy Walking distance to small supermarket and shell Coles express. Clean and well maintained for an older place. Friendly staff.
Short drive to shopping centre.
Beds not particularly comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.

We stayed two nights, the first night was ok, the second night was terrible. There was constant banging which was loud enough to wake us multiple times.

We assumed it was ignorant neighbours banging furniture against the common wall, however in the morning we discovered it was a manhole cover into the roof space opening and slamming shut due to the winds. Our poor neighbours probably thought it was us making the noise.

Excellent it was an extremely cold night the heating and bed and showergreat was perfect. A quiet location set back off the road was plus. Easy to find the motel as it was on main road when coming from the west. Front of vehicle was under cover and car parks were easy to park a large FWD. I didn't know how to use the air cond remote friendly staff were very helpful via phone to reception.

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious & well designed but old, outdated and begging for renovation. All rooms need refurbishment and the exterior guttering was rusted through so there was a current dripping outside of the room. This, coupled with the pool motor persistently beeping the entire time of our stay, meant that sleeping was difficult without headphones. Despite this, the management were warm, friendly and approachable.
