The hotel is very new an decorated beautifully! It's located right off Dupont Circle next to tons of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The room was perfect, with a large bathroom and plenty of space. The front desk team were exceptional. We were a big (fatigued from traveling) group with a lot of special requests over a 5 day stay. Johnnie and Kaejah went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend the Sixty!

The soap in the shower was basically empty and was not refiled while I was there. The TP was cheap and was a quarter roll when I checked in and not replaced while I was there. A false fire alarm went off while I was there and it was entirely too loud for a small hotel room -- like dangerous-for-hearing loud; it was loud enough I was stuck covering my ears with both hands and preoccupied with how I would open the door without uncovering my ears and whether I had packed earplugs rather than leaving the room.

We paid extra for an upgraded, bigger room in the hopes that it would be more comfortable and less noisy, but they put us on the side of the hotel facing the street, and the nightclubs next door were full of loud, noisy music and people until 3 am. We did not get a good night’s sleep, and feel we paid far too much for an exhausting night.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a while. They have a popular restaurant on site and a very nice roof top bar. The hotel is gorgeous and rooms are very chic and cozy. Most bars are walkable from this location too. Johnny helped check us in and was incredibly kind and created such a memorable experience for us. Hotel in very nice and super clean, you just can't expect to sleep there. Noisiest hotel on the planet! Wanted to love it , but the clubs and bars in the area attract a drunken crowd of disgusting and inappropriately loud partyiers. It is so loud, the room vibration is in synch with the rooftop club, and the pilice and drunks out front will keep you up past 2am closing. Never, ever, again! 2 stays, both the same!

Beautiful new build, well appointed, and virtually empty. Breakfast each morning was 100% empty — I was the only guest. Rooms were beautiful, staff was very nice. Four constructive comments on the experience: (1) housekeeping was slow to respond when something was requested and usually multiple calls were needed; (2) and the room itself was insanely dark. Dark enough that it was hard to see well enough to pack. I would strongly recommend adding a lot more lights fixtures to the rooms as there is no overhead lighting whatsoever, and the existing fixtures while attractive, do not produce adequate light. (3) There is also a club right next door that remains open to three so if your room is near the club, you will need earplugs if you are a light sleeper; (4) restaurant staff for breakfast was not particularly attentive.

We had a terrible experience at this property. The view from our room was the wall of the adjacent building about a foot away. The view out the other window was bunch of mechanical equipment/rubbish between the back of several buildings. The room was so small we were not able to fully open the closet door (it was too close to the bed). Our daughter was the first to take a shower and ran out of hot water after 5 mins. My husband and I went without a shower after a long travel day. Since it was already 10:30 pm, we decided to just wait until the next morning, when we were told we could get a different room. The worst part of our stay was the booming/vibrating music from rooftop bar/restaurant. The front desk had told us they would “be done soon” when we called about the hot water around 10:30 pm. The music continued until 3:00 a.m. We got very little sleep. The next morning, I went to the front desk to get a new room. A different person was on duty and told me there was only one other room available with 2 queen beds (the entire hotel only had 5 rooms with 2 queen beds) and I was warned the view would be even worse. I was more concerned about the noise from the rooftop bar and would have settled with the bad view, but I was told there’s no guarantee the music from the rooftop bar would be any less noisy in the new room. The bar operates 5 days a week, and we had booked a 6-night stay. We decided to leave and go to another hotel after staying only one night.

W O N D E R F U L stay. I cannot say more good things about this newest addition to the DC hotel scene—perfectly situated in the heart of DuPont Circle, steps from Princeton and USC campuses and tons of great eats. Very cozy and affordable Mediterranean restaurant and speakeasy downstairs (breakfast starting at 7 and drinks until 1 am) and several good restaurants within yards. The hotel staff, though a bit bareboned, was incredibly gracious, courteous and acccommodating. I did not have time to check out the gym scene or explore what was in the area from that perspective. Exactly 13 minutes by Uber to DCAnand just a short walk to DC Metro-DuPont Circle.
