My colleague and I stayed here for three nights and were happy with our stay. The location is good and close to the Riyadth central street.

The staff were very kind, friendly, and quick to help with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the toiletries were great quality.

The downside was the internet and limited tv channels. The internet was quite slow, and I had trouble checking my emails or watching videos.

The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were good, though the desserts could be improved. Overall, a pleasant stay

The wifi is extremely slow. Almost unusable. But the staff of friendly, the hotel is clean and quiet. The food is good, but extremely overpriced. Definitely had a nice stay overall.

Pros:
Parking was crowded. Garage was full, first day parked outside next to building.
Second day in front of the building.
Check in/out was quick/ easy. Staff is helpful/ kind.
Facilities were clean/ lobby decor was nice.
My suite 1807 was clean/spacious. Bed was comfortable. Found the extra pillow in a drawer.
Bathroom is very spacious/clean although the shower has some wear/tear with regards to the floor tile.
It has useful aminities.
It has a Jacuzzi tub which I'm not sure if it works.
Cons:
Refrigerator was placed outside of the cabinet which I found to be a bit tacky looking.
Shower floor tile has noticeable wear/tear.
Couch has visible white stains on cushions that looked suspicious 😝

Phones in room were disconnected. We didn't realize this until the last day when we were calling to order room service. We were able to get only one of them to work.
I gave this hotel 3 ⭐⭐⭐ mainly due to lack of enforcement of the Covid-19 health/safety protocols not being enforced. The rules haven't changed.
Unmasked guest were allowed to enter/sit in hotel lobby/ignore security's request to wear a mask. One man, I don't know if he was a guest or not, entered/ignored security's request for tawakkalna, temperature check/to wear a mask.

I paid through expedite as it shows clearly breakfast for two persons. That's what also appeared in my receipt, but the hotel charged me 40$ for the second person. When I called Expedia, they said it depends on the hotel policy

I like this hotel I have stayed many times because the rooms are spacious and affordable. I wish they would update the rooms a little and give more amenities and toiletries in the rooms. If you get a room with a view it’s nice the rooms without a view are creepy I hate them. The food isn’t good and it’s expensive I order outside now. The underground parking is a nightmare for large vehicles park on the street if you have a SUV or large car. The service is always excellent and check in is a breeze. I enjoy the privacy at this hotel no one bothers me and that’s what I want the most.

This hotel was very nice, and the staff was really friendly. My husbands car battery neeeded a jump and the staff searched for someone to help. The only problem we had the whole stay was with parking. The garage is to small for a suv so we couldnt park there and the parking around the hotel was hard to find most days.

As always Holiday Meydan's experience was great. Clean environment especially during COVID times, quality comfort in terms of bedding, and great service. The only issue I faced was that the staff was not able to find my breakfast booking as it was already included in my package. Overall 10/10 for me.

Maybe many Saudi hotels are like this (I’ve only stayed in 5) but very frustrating that the gym was female only from 6-8am...the only time of day I’d want or be able to exercise....so I couldn’t use it. Other hotels do this different times of day which have not ruined my schedule. No restaurants nearby to walk to either

Admin Incompetence - Overcharged my Credit Card

Someone at the reception overcharged my credit card by adding a zero to the amount in Saudi Riyals, Im still processing the dispute with my bank. Unbelievable incompetence (costly too). Never staying at this hotel again.

It is a great hotel in all respects, except that due to building activity in the surrounding area, all roads except one going to the hotel are closed. Taxi and Uber drivers struggle to get to the hotel due to the road closures, one Uber driver even cancelled on me, causing me to be late for a meeting

Staff at this hotel are very pleasant and helpful all you have to do is ask.
Evening Buffet meal I feel is overpriced and therefore did not use, which if you consider I was in hotel for 3 weeks was an opportunity lost.
Stayed here previously and would stay again not much around if you have no transport but would recommend.

Very Bad experience. When i arrived with a group of 4, it was a long delay at check in eventhough there was no queue, it was just un experienced staff members. When i finally recieved my room key and went to my room, i noticed there was no electricy in my room, so i called reception to ask, only to find out that hotel was working on generators and minimum lighting for the past 30 minutes. They could have told me that at the time of check in. Anyway we went out for something to eat as could not sleep without air conditioning. 2 hours later we got back and the electricity was back. I slep at 11pm but woke up at 0210 am sweating as the electricity has gone off again. I went down to reception and asked for night manager, i was told there isnt one, how come a 5star hotel does not have a night manager.
There was no apology therefore i will never stay there again and nore will my company staff members.

I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night during my business trip. I have booked a double room with King size bed, but nothing was available! Then I've asked for Queen Size bed but I've got twin bed instead! (Should have given the upgrade) The reception guy who was serving me was asked to answer the phone by Trainee manager while he was serving me! Not sure what type of customer service was that!!!

I've requested to bring my bags to my room, but the Arabic looking didn't understand English - so I've ended up carrying it to my room.

Room was very dark and can't see anything from the window and it was pitch black.. not really a five star experience. Staff wasn't helpful at all... Very bad customer service,, not recommended!

I stayed for three nights. The room is very comfortable,modern and clean. You definitely have to see the big screen TV in the lobby area. The staff are very cooperative. I got sick during my stay and had to follow a diet. I have asked them to cook special meals for me and they did although it was not in the menu. The only draw back is the location. Maybe it is me but I had hard time to get to and out of the hotel because of the detours around the hotel. Other than that, there is nothing to complain.

Very clean, and good, comfortable rooms. Staff are helpful and location great for Riyadh. Food is quite expensive so would recommend to get the breakfast included when booking the hotel. However there are several restaurants nearby if you fancy going outside.

Hotel is pretty much on a building site! Concrete blocks surrounding the building and marking out the route surrounding the hotel. Unfortunately this is pretty common in Riyadh, so nothing unusual.
Small gym and central restaurant are all that is available. Buffet is pretty reasonable.
Functional and clean rooms. I had trouble with aircon not working correctly and also noise from nearby rods seemed to be rather noisy. Nothing worth noting nearby, but you could walk for 30 mins to get to shopping mall if required.

I have traveled to Riyadh many times. Due to the lack of sufficient number of hotels, hotels are typically expensive and many are old This hotel has been build very recently and everything is brand new. The room was comfortable and they provided free high speed internet. I was happy with my overall stay and would stay here again during my future visits.

This hotel does not have enough staff. There was no bell service at check-in. The front desk was inadequately staffed. There were not enough waiters in the restaurant. The hotel facilities were adequate, but without enough staff, this hotel is star-rated in price only.

Clean hotel in a nice location

I was in Riyadh for a conference. The conference hotel which was the Intercontinental was very expensive, this hotel was within a short taxi ride and was much cheaper. Nothing fancy but rooms were clean and location is near the Olaya district that is close to shopping centers and a mall. Kingdom tower is a 10 minutes taxi ride. I did not eat at the restaurant. They had complimentary WiFi in the room.
