Quiet location away from everthing which is what we wanted we had a superior double which was large and well equiped nice balcony over looking gardens
We had breakfast 2 mornings and this was plentiful and lovely we also eat in the restaurant three nights same menu but great food small bar and we had drinks in the lounge all in all a wonderful stay and we would certainly stay again

The food in the hotel was superb as well and Sherbourne town centre was a 10 minute drive away with a lovely Abbey and lots of nice pubs and restaurant. Plume of feathers was great, an Italian tapas,, this was opposite the Abbey

I normally don't bother with reviews but our party of 4 were so blown away by the Grange that I felt compelled to contribute something. What was expected to be a ho-hum overnight stay at a modest 3 star hotel turned out to be something way, way better. The overall setting was perfect - a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere, The accommodation was outstanding: spacious, clean, individual and beautifully appointed. Everyone we met, and I mean everyone, was so helpful, warm and friendly, that it was a joy just to be there. But the really unexpected bonus was the food. An outstanding and beautifully appointed restaurant with an imaginative dinner menu and probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Just the most perfect place.

The location was excellent, gorgeous village and very handy for Sherborne, which is also very pretty. There was plenty of parking.The hotel seemed well laid out and our bedroom and bathroom were clean, light and spacious. We stayed in three hotels on our trip and this was our favourite. Main drawback was the lumpy mattress. I didn’t sleep well because of the springs sticking into me. Hotel breakfast was OK.

This spotlessly clean hotel is located in a beautiful little hamlet just outside of Sherbourne and is the perfect base for an exploring Dorset holiday. The customer service we received was excellent. We felt completely Covid safe during our lovely 2 night stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - simply lovely!

Lovely hotel ! The manager on duty the day we arrived was really friendly and explained their protocol on Covid very well but also very relaxed and reassuring.

The only small criticism was that the pillows were a little hard (my husband always takes his pillow with him !😂) .. whereas I always go with it and did have a bit of a stiff neck! Also the room was very hot and we could’ve done with a fan .. although I’m sure this would’ve been provided if I’d only asked !

THE BEST Best Western in the country!!
I dont usually rate Best Western as a brand, its often at the lower end of the scale in seaside towns etc, but this must simply be THE BEST Best Western in the country. The rooms are brilliant, style and feel of the place is exceptional and service was just perfect. A really good experience I didn't expect but was very grateful for. I will be returning.

Short but very sweet! The staff were lovely and there were so many extra touches which were great e.g. breakfast bars and coffee to take away for breakfast, cafetieres in the room, bookmarks and notebooks, de-icer and scrapers if needed!

Don't miss this little gem
If you want to stay somewhere a little bit different, then do stay here. The food is great, and the staff are very attentive. There are some nice little touches in the bar, lounge and dining room which are decorated with clocks, lamps, books and other items which do not match, but look great! The location is wonderful and very peaceful.

Comfortable and friendly
Sherborne is a lovely town/village full of Dorset character and charm. We visit regularly. While it is nice staying in town it is noisy and so if we are driving we prefer to stay just outside Sherborne. The Grange at Oborne is perfect for us - comfortable and friendly and have a great breakfast with gluten free options and good coffee.

hotel off the beaten track but beautiful area
Lovely hotel, very well maintained, clean , and the room was large. I think the kitchen staff need a shake-up, we had three evening meals on our stay - 1st night bread was not fresh, 2nd night we had two different meals - both were really cold, 3rd night I had the same meal as first night but no comparison, salmon was all I got no dressing at all.
