I had a wonderful stay at Urakusatsu Tou in Kusatsu, Japan. The hotel is very clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. This hotel was great to stay in. The room was very spacious with tatami mats and two areas to sit down and relax/work on computer including a nice couch with a table and desk with a chair. The bed was very comfortable, the restaurant was delicious, and the spa was amazing. I had a great stay here.

A Relaxing Stay with a Western Feel
The room was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. We stayed for one night, and it was comfortable. The dinner was just okay, but the breakfast was delicious. The only downside is that the men's and women's onsen baths didn't switch, unlike other onsen hotels I've stayed at. This hotel has a more Western style It's not a traditional onsen ryokan. But overall was a great experience!

The staff were unaccommodating , dismissive, and unhelpful and lacking insight into guests needs. They were unwilling to accommodate us for breakfast because we did not book at the time of our initial reservation - despite their dining room being more than 1/2 empty and when nearly all other restaurants in town were closed because of the day of the week ( apparently most breakfast places are closed on Wednesday.) They could have made our stay terrific with the slightest effort which they were unwilling to make.

Lovely central and authentic modern hotel
Overall a nice authentic experience in a convenient location. Only let down by uncomfortable beds and lack of drinks available from the bar after 10pm! The authentic japenewe breakfast was beautifully presented but there were no other food options if it was not to your liking. Rooms were clean well equipped with nice bathrooms. Hotel very central and within easy reach of the main centre.

Our stay at TOU was truly relaxing, the hotel condition was excellent, everywhere was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful, they shared great recommendations of ‘must see attractions’ delivering unique and memorable experience of Kusatsu Onsen. We had the half board, stayed 2 nights there, the dining experience was amazing, great food, well-decorated dishes and polite staff. Our highly recommended stay at Kusatsu.

とても快適に過ごせました。スタッフも親切で、朝食も評判通り美味しかったです。唯一残念なのが、ルーフトップテラスが22時でクローズしてしまうことでしょうか。湯畑の夜のライトアップを観つつ夕飯を外で済ませる人が多いので、その後お風呂に入るのを考慮すると、ルーフトップはせめて23時まで開けてもらえると助かります。

スタッフの方の対応が最高でした。特に韓国の方か中国の方か分からないのですが、そちらの女性スタッフさんがちょっとしたトラブルなどを丁寧に対応して下さって本当に素晴らしかったです。

因 蕩 再次到訪草津 非常時尚的酒店
事隔一年第二次到訪Tou，服務進步了前臺員工很熱情友善。建議每次逗留兩晚，晚餐早餐會換menu很用心有驚喜。食物質素很好餐單設計恰到好處，感受到酒店很用心經營。
溫泉質量很高，但唯一美中不足是天台溫泉冬日因安全理由會關閉。
