We had a very enjoyable stay at the golf resort overall. The facility is huge, offering plenty of space and a wide range of amenities. One of the standout aspects was the staff – they were great throughout our stay, always helpful and well organised. Getting around the resort was very easy thanks to the efficient system of golf carts and vans, which made moving across the large property convenient and stress-free.

Breakfast had its highs and lows. While there was a good variety overall, it could definitely be improved. Out of our three-day stay, bacon was only available once, which was a bit disappointing. On one of the days, many of the items – even sausages – seemed overly sweetened, which might not suit guests who prefer more savoury options. It can also get quite crowded during peak times, so some better organisation would help, as it was sometimes difficult to find a table. Overall, we’d rate breakfast around 8.5/10.

The property itself isn’t brand new and could use some TLC in certain areas. However, considering the value for money, it’s still a solid choice. We’d rate the overall condition of the resort around 8/10.

Shuttle service to and from the gate is fast! Almost no wait. Everybody is great , helpful and hospitable. Breakfast could be crowded in the morning but food was good. The foam party in Kudetah District was so much fun! Its every Monday, Thursday and Saturday! We havent really explored the resort cuz it was huge! Overall, we are happy with our stay!

Quiet and peaceful stay (8 days), easy access via TukTuk to D-Mall and beaches. Limited food options on site but ok - great if you like Filipino, Italian or Thai food. Like many places in the Philippines a bit harder if lots of vegetables are required.

Pools are nice and plenty to choose from, private beach is nice and only. A very short walk to another popular beach.

if you are an early riser, an early espresso or an early swim are not available (beach maybe?) - seems like coffee shops open at 10am, pools at 9am.

Room was spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom very good. Had some issue with the water heating and AC but both were fixed promptly.

Breakfast options unappealing to a non Filipino guest. Coffee was poor in each venue. We stayed 10 nights and our bed linen wasn’t changed once even though we asked for room make up midway through our stay. The floor wasn’t even vacuumed. A lot of staff standing around doing nothing while simple cleaning tasks eg elevator doors and interiors went unnoticed. Pools were great and foam pool party was a winner. Kudetah was a great zone. Massages very good and economical.

We got connecting rooms, and they were spacious enough for all five of us. My family and I loved it. The breakfast was awesome, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t need to walk far from point A to point B because they have a shuttle service. We had a great time!

It was a bit further out of the town/beach areas than I originally thought. Enjoyed the pool area although there isn't enough sunbeds provided for the size of the hotel. Wasn't impressed by the infinity pool, didn't seem very inviting. Although enjoyed the private beach. Cleaning of rooms is very lacking even when asking for them to be cleaned and asked for hangers which I never received. Only 1 to a room is pretty poor

I had a fantastic stay at Fairways and Bluewater Boracay. The room staff were excellent—everything in my room was consistently topped up and well taken care of each day, which made my stay very comfortable.

When I first checked in, I encountered an issue with my room, but the staff handled it immediately and made the necessary changes to accommodate me. Their responsiveness and willingness to help really stood out.

There was also a small mix-up at breakfast one morning, but the manager handled it exceptionally well. He was extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make things right by offering me a complimentary massage.

That turned out to be a highlight of my trip—the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. I was so impressed that I made sure to book another session with my therapist, Beng, before I left. She truly has magic hands!

The only letdown for me was the breakfast. While there was a good variety of options, I found the local cuisine a little too sweet for my taste. I usually enjoy an Asian-style breakfast, but the sweetness didn’t quite suit my palate. I would have appreciated a wider selection of Western options.

Overall, the service and care from the staff made my stay memorable, and I would happily return

Pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast was, we had it every morning and they had slightly different options every morning which was nice. Our room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttles run throughout the resort all the time & free. Security at the gate was also really nice and we made friends with some of them. We felt really safe at our stay, gated resort. Would definitely book again. One of the nicer & affordable resorts on Bora. It was right across from the city mall too which also had an ATM and restaurants, and anything else you could need.

Was hesitant about this property as my family (being from Canada) has quite a high standard... I will get flak if I booked substandard accommodations... But Fairways didn't disappoint. It was pretty far from the port which made me nervous bec. I already hear whining from my wife but once we were in the room and settled in after an afternoon of walking around Station 2... I heard my wife say, I love this room (we were assigned a Premier Grand room in Bldg 9) which coming from her is quite rare... As I only hear those words when I have paid an extravagant amount of money at a 5-star hotel. She quite enjoyed the restaurant downstairs that had a pool and had live music whilst enjoying dinner during the evenings. She also loved the shuttle rides on the golf carts which bussed people around the property. The private beach was great as well ... Only minor complaints were we had to ask for extra towels, hand towels, face towels and kleenex which were not available when we got to the room.

Stayed 5 nights in a Premier Pool Access Room. Rooms were clean and comfortable with great direct pool access, though water pressure was average and mosquitoes were an issue. Only two small water bottles were provided daily, and there was no proper resort guide.

Wi-Fi was inconsistent with many black spots, and speeds in-room (~20Mbps) weren’t great for streaming. TV was also difficult to use.

Food options were plentiful but expensive (resort pricing). Breakfast was a weak point—crowded, disorganised, and average in quality, though it improved slightly during the stay. Other dining options like White Barn Brewing Co and Kusina De Augusta were good, and the pool bar was a highlight.

The resort offers great amenities including multiple pools, a private beach, activities, golf course, spa, and nearby convenience stores. The beach is nice but can be crowded with some seaweed.

Service was excellent throughout, with friendly staff and an efficient shuttle system across the large property. Location is about 20–30 minutes from Station 2, requiring a shuttle and e-trike. Airport transfers were smooth and worthwhile.

A private beach dinner was a standout experience with exceptional service and setup.

Overall, a good-value stay with strong amenities and service, but let down slightly by Wi-Fi, breakfast, and small operational details.

The hotel does what they call a room check before you leave the staff went into the room and said there was a stain on one of the sheets that we were unaware of they said it can't come out. My sister then went to the room and washed it out. This delayer us for our pick up to the airport. I was not impressed. I have never heard of a room check before never mind a stain on a sheet as an issue.

I have a mixed feelings about this property. My stay overall was good, but if to look separately at things, not really. Breakfast: all food, cold and hot, was not even a room temperature, but rather weather temperature, all the time, which is very dangerous. Food variety: ok, but not enough proteins, unless u eat eggs only every day. Transportation inside resort: very uncomfortable. First, you have to wait, sometimes long enough, conditions of the cars are not good, in some u can see through rhe floor. Private beach: not sure what security do there, but a lot of strangers are there, come and go. So beach is not really private. One day, after spa massage, I could not find security to call for transportation. Will I return? Probably, not. Will I recommend? Not for people who likes comfort. At the end of the day, u get what u paid for.

Fantastic hotel and a great place to stay. The food was very good with plenty of choice, and the staff were absolutely brilliant, always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything. The resort is quite big, but everything is within walking distance, which makes it easy to get around. The pools are large and very clean, perfect for relaxing, and the private beach is amazing. There are lots of things to see and do around the area, and if you enjoy walking, Puka Beach is also within walking distance which is a big plus.
Breakfast time can be a little busy, but nothing bad at all and the staff handle it really well. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday

If you’re looking for an all-in-one resort experience, I highly recommend Fairways & Bluewater Resort in Boracay, Philippines. The property offers five different types of pools, each providing a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the resort features a beautiful beach area and a sprawling golf country club, making it a destination that truly has something for everyone.

The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. From the shuttle drivers who courteously open the doors, to the reception team who greet guests with genuine warmth, the service is consistently impressive. I would like to personally commend Madelyn, who welcomed us during check-in and assisted us to our room. She even offered to carry our bags, which made us feel especially valued as guests.

As a tourist visiting my home country from Vancouver, Canada, this has been our best experience so far. Of course, every establishment has areas for improvement. In this case, I hope the resort enhances its internet access, as reliable Wi-Fi has become essential for most travelers.

One delightful surprise was discovering a small hidden chapel tucked inside a cave by the beach—a unique and serene spot that added to the charm of our stay.

Overall, our experience was superb. From the excellent service and complimentary breakfast to the convenience of the free shuttle, Fairways & Bluewater Resort exceeded our expectations.

The front desk was able to assign us a room in the main building which was most appreciated.
The room was close to the stairwell and air conditioning unit; however, we were not bothered by any sounds at all!

Improvements are needed with staff at the breakfast buffet. There should be more staff checking in on guests at tables if beverages are needed or any other items. There were so many staff but most were behind the bar (as we ate 2x at the outside area) and they looked like they were just hanging around or at times I saw them eating - this is not appropriate in front of guests.

Another item to change is allowing children in the jacuzzi tubs. These tubs should be for adult use only. Or create designated areas for adults only.

Perhaps even creating a part of the resort as adult only would be something to explore.

This hotel is the definition of false advertising. From the moment we arrived, it was chaos. Our friends’ direct booking reservation “couldn’t be found” for half a day. The solution? A so-called free dinner loaded with restrictions that made it pointless.

Our room was filthy. I had to clean yellow stains off the toilet seat and bathroom floor myself. That set the tone.

The pools are small, outdated, and poorly maintained. The spas are freezing. Lifeguards are present, but seem more concerned about guarding towels (with a 1000 penalty if not personally returned) than supervising children. For a “family-friendly” resort, that says a lot.

The food was genuinely awful. Inedible fries, terrible woodfire pizza, watered-down drinks, and a breakfast spread featuring old fruit, soggy pre-made omelets, and crab soup no one asked for. It felt careless and cheap.

The shuttle service crams guests in like sardines just to move around the property. Comfort clearly isn’t a priority here.

Most alarming: our fifth-floor family suite had three balcony doors that didn’t lock. We have small children, including one with special needs. Fixing this basic safety issue required an argument and a scene.

The staff try, but management fails them.

The glossy Instagram images and inflated ratings are wildly misleading. We were completely duped. Stay here only if standards, safety, and service don’t matter to you.

The room was spacious and clean. All the staff were friendly, extremely courteous and always went the extra mile as far as service was concerned. It made our stay of 3N/4D memorable and enjoyable.

The room is normal, everything is fine, there are shortcomings but they are insignificant knowing what country it is. But the cleaning is tragic, especially the change of bedding, in twelve nights the bedding was changed once and that was only when we dragged it ourselves. And the other three times they only ironed and rearranged the covers, giving the impression that it had been changed.

We were excited to spend a few nights here as the hotel seemed to offer a lot for a very reasonable price.

We asked for a room in the building that was most recently built, and the room was okay.

It was clean and we had a good view over the pool and golf grounds.

However the breakfast was the worst experience we had in the Philippines! The layout of the restaurant is shocking, meaning that you queue easily for 15-20 minutes with 30 people standing in front of you.

It felt like a high school lunch place opposed to a restaurant. The food were very very limited and the quality of the food was not great either.

Moving around the grounds was previously reported as fun and convenient. We thought we would be driven around in golf carts (which only happened twice).

Instead, you get loaded into a van with benches with a mixture of people.

Sometimes you would sit there in your nice clothes ready for dinner, only to realise that the benches were soaking wet from people who sat down with their wet clothes coming from the beach. I am 194cm and it was not a great experience sitting in those vans.

We were excited to enjoy the foam party, where we stayed for about 10 minutes once we realised that it was not what we hoped.

The private beach was okay, but there are a lot nicer beaches around Station 1 which is only a 5-10 mins tricycle ride from here.

In terms of staff, they were hit and miss. Some of them were great, some of them were straight away rude.

Our room was ok, there was just 2 towels no hand towels? Staff was efficient, hotel was big and needed transport to go anywhere or walk far. I didn’t like that part. Some of the pool are not clean and worn down. The private beach was the best feature.
