So, first off the pictures on their website are not accurate to what the room was like at all, they showed a jacuzzi in the bathroom and was disappointed to see that wasn't the case. The hotel vents were disgustingly dirty as we walked in just above the reception desk. The breakfast was disappointing as well, the breads were stale and when my fiancé asked if they could make more eggs they refused. For a 150 dollar room I didn't expect that a 500 dollar damage deposit was very fair either, considering we didn't even get what we paid for. On a good note, the Indian restaurant inside was excellent, great service and the best food ive had in awhile, and their drinks were very authentic, definitely a great date spot.

The room itself was all right. And the front desk staff were pleasant. But the breakfast was lousy. No coffee ready. No batter for the waffles. And only one staff on site who wasn’t as interested in helping as he was in spending time on his phone.

The building is not the most inviting place. Pre-check in seemed seamless, however still felt like a process upon arrival. The building and rooms are dated. Breakfast was served from 6-9 am, however I was not told this upon arrival. Breakfast was not good…eggs were watery, sausages were soggy. When my husband told the staff that the waffle machine was empty, the staff member merely put water in the container. Not a place I would stay at again.

Room was clean and functional. Breakfast was disappointing - even at 8:15 (breakfast ends at 9) there was only a small amount of totally dried out scrambled eggs which never got replenished. Cereal was totally stale. Waffles edible but would be a huge step up to have other toppings like fruit or a fruit sauce, and a syrup dispenser that's not falling apart.

at the time of booking my contract booked through your site, which asked to include my credit card information for completion of reservation, assured all payments would only be finalized on site at the time of check in. When I called to let the management know I was having trouble on the road and might not be able to arrive and cancel until the following day I was informed payment was taken with no option of return. This will impact my compliance to reserve through your site in the future. A response from either or both parties involved would be appreciated.

After being somewhat forced to drive until late that evening and after an additional small up charge check in was okay and the remainder of our stay was adequate.

This place is a low fi motel with hotel prices. The bed and water pressure were very good. However, everything else was disappointing: I did not get the room I reserved and when I asked was told it was under renovations, the services was terrible - no elevator and staff did not offer to help with my luggage to the top floor though I shared my back was injured, I slipped on the wet stairs, no warning sign, the tv is too old to cast my computer, doors are so heavy they slam very loudly keeping me up at night.

My stay was 2 nights, 1st nite room was Not good and did not have a bath tub as the pictures portrayed.
Fortunately the next nite a nice young lady on staff moved me to a room with a tub that was in much better shape . If it wasn’t for her and the move I would have gave this hotel the lowest star rating

First day had 2 big towels second day only 2 small towels, no extra blanket in the room as my wife was chilled turned up heat but still needed the extra blanket. No cups for drinks other than coffee cups no lids. Room was clean. Staff were pleasant.

The housekeeping team performs miracles daily. They keep the rooms as clean as one can expect for a building that likely saw the dawn of the industrial age. The air carries a hint of "vintage charm," which is a polite way to describe a structure that predates modern plumbing. However, the surfaces shine, and the sheets feel crisp.

I had agreed to pay the hotel, as opposed to paying Expedia. However, the hotel charged me for a credit card hold the day before I arrived. I’ve never had this issue with any other booking through Expedia, or the Wyndham chain of hotels. This charge was unacceptable.

As mentioned, there is no free breakfast. Instead, they provide a coupon that can be used at the hotel next door, which is extremely expensive and not good at all. I ordered a mixed breakfast bowl with toast, and it was terrible. The total came to $37 plus tip, and they only applied a $10 discount. Essentially, you are still paying for your breakfast. When I raised this concern with the receptionist, he said there was nothing he could do. Room was clean

Arrived at hotel no one at the counter. Rang the bell still no one at the counter. Ended up having to phone the hotel in order to get the person to show up at the front counter. Then they tell me they don’t take debit cards and I would have to pull cash out of the ATM and pay their owners withdrawal fee in order to get a room.At this point I was so pissed off with the rude employee. I decided to just walk out and not use my prepaid room because this level of aggravation I absolutely do not need from anyone. Do not go here this place is an absolute. The Christmas decor was beautiful as you enter.
Esthetics looked good, but if looked closely, things were starting to fall off. Wallpaper coming off, dripping faucet in the tub, no power on the bedside table, exploding keurig machine (just tried to make one cup), beds pretty soft (we rolled into each other in the middle).
Breakfast was decent, but only one lady managing the Saturday morning crowd.
Maybe we’re being picky, but for a Wyndham resort, the details aren’t usually left like that.
They had no one at the desk in the morning for check out, and the breakfast lady had to leave to help at the desk. They looked like they were short staffed. Trying to do the job of many with few. Hard to do it all with just one person.
They are trying.

Was not able to acess the continetal breakfast as there was no elevator. Hotel did not have any brail on any doors which made things much harder for him.
If our rooms would have been on 2nd floor we wouldnot have stayed there. Very poor business planning to run a hotel that does not have an elevator and not accessible for all types of tennants. For accessibilit features i give the Hotel a Negstive 10.

30 minutes to check in. Booked online yet no information was transferred to front desk what’s phone number spell last name etc. etc. all things a modern system would facilitate. Room was gross stained carpet duvet was cheap and ratty. Could hear bathroom noises from next room. Room service phone number was out of service. went to lobby restaurant bunch of VLTs and low life’s. Meal was microwaved lasagne two bites but it was not eatable. This hotel is crap. Avoid.

This may be an older building, but you sure wouldn't know it from the rooms. My room was thoroughly modernized and very comfortable. Importantly, the staff was very nice to deal with.

With hotel rates drifting upward, I've been trying different hotels in an effort to economize where I can. I'm happy to report that the Baymont hits the sweet spot of quality and price. I will be staying here on my next trip to Medicine Hat!

Rooms on the upper floor need to be updated similar to those on the lower floor. Breakfast is dreadful, same cold overcooked eggs and sausages floating in broth each day. There is never anyone at the front desk, you call the number on the sign and it rings forever, no answer and no one makes an appearance. If you are in a room at the far end of the hall you will be lucky to have it cleaned before 6pm, came back most days and simply asked for new towels. Additional daily charges added on, did not honor the price I booked with on Expedia - and no explanation to why.

Great location that's easy to find and convenient. As a business traveller I had a couple of issues. One, the office chair in the room wouldn't height adjust and the work surface is quite high so it was awkward to work on my laptop. Second, the bath tub tap drips for hours after the water is shut off. Fortunately I usually where earbuds at night so only a minor annoyance while watching the Blue Jays win their game. Thirdly, The shower only gave luke-warm water even when turned to hot. Again not the end of the world but I know some people prefer a hot shower in the morning. Also, the bathroom was tiny. So tiny that it was difficult to stand in it and close the door.
I must say this room was inexpensive so for the price and with their decent breakfast it's a reasonable value.
