The photos looked great but really it's not a great hotel. Thankfully the bathroom was clean and the aroma of bleach was in the air. The floor (thankfully NOT carpeted) was sticky though. Possibly the cleaner used? The bathroom lights over the sink had only one working. I tightened them and the rest worked (except for one). The room just looked \"beat up\".

Stole money from my account days after visiting due to a pet fee when we called to talk to manger they lied and said it was a pet fee we didt have pets we had to call 3 times to even get a manager as they never called back then switched there story's to a plumbing issues witch was cased by there main system backing up into our toilet witch we reported then being told the pet claimed is now to cover that cost and they won't return our money we go to med hat often and they have lost a loyal customer, the pool is cold and the liner is off and making it slippery and hot tube chemicals are off casing to be more foamy and customer service sucks and the breakfast or lack of options terrible experience 👎

We had a pet friendly room which might be why our room was subpar. It didn’t appear very clean, sticky floors and a deodorizer smell like it was covering smoke. Both of the beds were super soft and almost felt like they were on a slant. The ac was loud and temp hard to keep comfortable. Parking was easy and it was cheap. Do not plan to stay here again.

This location is a very old motel. The room requires major upgrades and a thorough cleaning. The tub/shower drain needed cleaning out and the old tub was extremely slippery. Breakfast was sub par. No hot foods offered except make your own waffle and only allowed one waffle/guest. The bed was clean and comfortable. We will not return to this location.

The room had dirty sheets, hair in the sink, and ants all over in the bathroom. Our room was run down clear effects of water damage from above. The ac/heating unit was so loud we woke up every-time it kicked on. Poor cell service in room.
I had called 5 days prior asking for early check in man said that’s not a problem at all, when we got there a different man was mad and told me that they never guarantee early check ins. He had Zero people skills then was complaining about his co worker in front of us.
Also If u have mobility issues there’s no rooms that I saw that didn’t have stairs to get to. Main floor is basement level and no elevator.
The only good thing was the breakfast & the reason for the 2 ⭐️or would have been a 1 ⭐️

I checked in at midnight and when I got to my room, I found the heater was malfunctioning and making a lot of noise. It was too late to switch rooms because I was very tired. I addressed the manager in the morning and they did nothing about it. I addressed the dayshift manager the following day and he did nothing about it. The bolt lock on door did not work. Cigarrette holds on drapes and coverlet. Bathroom was very clean. At checking in, a drunk customer was in the enterance sitting at the sofa. He kicked the glass off the coffee table and then was talking incoherently. Not a safe feeling.

Super gross. I don't usually like to leave poor reviews, but this was one of the worst places in a long time. The building is falling part, the floor was sticky, the bedding had holes in it, there were pubes in the bathtub. I would have left, but by the time I checked in it was already late and my only other options in the area were unreasonably expensive.

The staff were helpful especially the front desk fellow that checked us in. It is a budget hotel so I didn’t expect much. However, there were a few things that we felt needed to be addressed.

The beds are not comfortable, too hard. I like a firm bed but these are too stiff.

Only two pillows I am sure we could have asked for more. But everything was sort of like good enough. The room was very stuffy so we had to have the loud a/c unit on all night.

Breakfast was good. Nice coffee, juices, waffles, quality Yogurt, various Types of of bread and jams, PB, real butter, cream cheese etc. tea etc etc cold and hot cereals. The breakfast room was spotless and well appointed.

We were allowed to have our pet. The location is decent, close to everything by car.

The biggest disappointment was the pool and hot tub and surrounding area. The whole place needs a deep clean and most probably a bit of renovation. The hot tub chemicals are not correct. It was foamy and sludgy feeling. The pool liner was all wavy and wrinkled along with a slimy feeling.

Room shower was pretty good, good pressure. The room was well appointed with dining table for two with two comfortable chairs, good size dresser and closet rack with decent amount of hangers etc.

3 humans and one dog. We were fine as the room was large enough. I felt safe in the area walking the dog. This place is no frills, but perfect for a concert night place to stay or to rest up overnight before continuing on your journey.

Overall not bad for what you paid for, but usually when you forget something in your room, they put in a bag for you. I checked out and checked back in the same day. Forgot some things in the previous room i was in and was told by the front desk guy that they don't keep it and they threw it all out.

The breakfast is good for the average person. I am gluten free therefore I had to supply my own breakfast.

Having Gluten free options on hand would be something to offer your guests.
The brand Promise is a good gluten free bread, Chex by General Mills also offers a gluten free dry cereal.

I believe having them on hand with a sign for your guests would be a benefit.

Offering eggs is something else to consider.

We stopped off at this hotel en route from MB to BC. Thought we would try this one by off chance, hidden behind some larger hotels on the main drag. The staff were efficient, and the room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable, water in the shower hot! Although the building is older it was not a bad place to stop. Will proba ly stop on the way back home.

I don't know about other rooms but I have a dog and it always seems like we get shafted and get the worst available. There could be better cleaning done for sure. Lots of dust bunnies behind bed where the plugin is and do a better job cleaning so it's actually all wiped off. Still looked like toothpaste spots on taps. Bed was ok. Walls are very thin

This is an example of you get what you pay for; outside of toilet had urine stains, big stain on tan color blanket. The general upkeep of hotel is not in good shape. Dirty air conditioner, dirty shower curtain. Door to the washroom almost runs the front of the toilet, very tiny washroom.
For a one night stop over at just over $100 was only decent thing about hotel.

We stayed at this hotel twice. Room rate is very affordable; however, like many hotels, the rooms lacked sufficient outlets for our needs. Both my wife and I use CPAP machines and we have several devices that need to be charged each night. Also, the fridge freezer was too small so we were unable to refreeze our cooler packs.

What you see in the photos, is not what you get. I booked a pet friendly room, which is located in the building behind the main one. It’s complete garbage. The room has an odor, feels like I need security and the bed and pillows are rock hard. Would highly recommend finding a different hotel to stay at. Breakfast had zero protein.

Check in was confusing. Front desk clerk assigned me a room, changed his mind about room after he gave me a room key, then took it back, used a master key to let me into a different room after he appeared to check if another room was in use by knocking and seeing if everything was ok, then gave me another room. He let me in then came back with a room key.

Pillows were lumpy. We brought our own power bar, and needed it. Hot tub needed cleaning. Lots of stairs, not for folks with mobility issues.
The staff was fantastic. It was nice to be able to swim or use the hot tub. Breakfast was fine, but no protein choices like meat or eggs. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to do.
