They almost gave us keys to an occupied room because of the same last name.
The room was big and spacious, but I needed to duck in the shower.
Parking was easy. Lots of nearby food options.

The hotel was okay - our last resort in town as our plans fell through the day before our trip. The towels were threadbare, the sheets and duvet needed a good wash - some stains on them. But the kicker - no shower curtain! by the time we noticed, we decided it wasn't worth it to have someone come and install one, and we were leaving the next morning.... The fridge was a nice size. The beds were comfortable.

Thanks to new ownership the Rodeway Inn has made improvments over the last year. Many rooms have been renovated and large indoor pool area has been cleaned up.
There is also a restaurant/bar on site again with basic pub food ( not owned or allfiliated with the Hotel)
Lots of parking for larger vehicles like straight trucks, not accessible to 18 wheelers though.
Overall good value for the money

The room itself was quite nice - roomy and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very good.
Unfortunately, the hotel is not a reasonable walk to any of the theatres. There are no sidewalks and the first part of your walk will be on the shoulders of a four lane highway.

If you’re ok with driving to the theatres, it’s an excellent choice.

Exterior rooms completely unacceptable and required a move to interior which was only marginally better
Inadequate number of plugs - had to plug in coffee maker in the bathroom
Sorry but I can’t say many good things and I think management simply needs to do better.

Our room was so spacious (rm 125). Microwave and a fridge. It was ground floor and had a casement window, so we had access to fresh air. The view was facing a garden with trees. It felt private. The bathroom was adequate. The hallways have so much stucco - it was a texture overload. We swam in the pool on Sunday morning and were the only people. Sauna option was a surprise. No hot tub. Overall, a little dated, but slept well. Picnic tables in the garden looked like a nice option for better weather.

This hotel pleasantly surprised us with all of the amenities it had to offer. The king sized bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless. It included everything we needed. Loved the pool and it's setting. We quite enjoyed the sauna too! Not many hotels include one.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The location is close to many choices of restaurants and to the downtown of Stratford if we wanted to go. Would definitely visit again in the future.

Room was clean. I greatful no “air freshener” like fabreez were used, HVAC system worked well and allowed good control over room climate. Hotel is older but has many updates. I enjoyed the warm lighting (2700-3000k) used in rooms, though I am not a fan of the 6000k lighting used on exterior. Sheets appeared not as clean as they could be. Towels where a bit thread bear. Misalignment of shower door caused it to stay open during showers. Fan sounded loud and failed to clear air in bathroom. Staff were helpful and freindly, but lacked training and perhaps a little too casual.
Pool has a sauna which is great, but change rooms on pool deck were closed which would force patons to cool down in pool rather then having a cool shower after sessions in the sauna. Restaurant was closed, but there are lots of good breakfast option in vacinity of hotel.
U-haul vans parked in front of lobby entrance not a good look, sends wrong message to public. There are options to park vans that still promote that sevice while not making the hotel look like a moving warehouse.
All in all good place to stay, but a little effort still needed to bring it up to where it could be.

Room cleaning is daily, the room is bigger than most of the other hotels offer, parking is plentiful and the daily rates are good. Veey friendly reception staff as well. On top of that, it has a swimming pool in excellent condition. It is also situated across the local mall and .ist of shopping needs.

Most disappointingly- this hotel does not accurately represent its amenities in the description. The listing includes a hot tub and there is none. The staff at front desk wasn’t very friendly or helpful. We booked as a group of 4 rooms and were placed at all four corners of the hotel. The beds were clean and comfortable but the rooms and property are very tired. Not a terrible stay but not very nice either.

Not bad, floor is a bit dirty, washroom has some crack on the tub, could be more cleaner.

I guess there was a hockey tournament, there were groups of people adults and kids playing outside and talking outside our rooms, very annoying and very loud. Their kids were very rowdy, their parents did not do anything about it. My children find it very annoying.

Pool could be kept a few degrees warmer. In winter a warmer pool is more welcoming. We were going to sit in the sauna for a bit to warm up but there were ants crawling on the bench, so that was a hard no. Otherwise enjoyed the stay. Good price, room was clean. Other than the points above it was good and may visit again.

I stayed in a room in the oldest part of the building. The bed and bedding smelled really bad. The staff were helpful and pleasant but I couldn’t sleep all night as the bed smelled old and gross. The tv in the room is very old and small. The room needs a complete overhaul. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Make sure you read the Google reviews not just the reviews here. Sure it’s old and a little tired but the real issue is they are allowing people to smoke and house pets in the room… loud barking dog and the smell of smoke all night long made for an uncomfortable stay.

Really enjoyed my stay. For my price range it has lots of amenities and was clean and very comfortable. Staff was super helpful and friendly and if you join their loyalty.or members program the price is even better ( told to book through them directly). Will stay there again when im in town. I'm not sure if the price increases during the summer festival period when all the plays are on.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful. Our room was dated but clean. The mattress was somewhat past its expiry date and should be replaced but was not terrible, in fact I slept well. The only negative was the loud hum of the in-suite refrigerator, so much so I had to wear my ear plugs all night. Compared to other hotel prices in town it was good value for money.

This property it’s decor and furnishings are dated but with that said it was very clean from the bathroom to the bedroom with adequate towels, bedding and toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. It’s just unfortunate that they no longer have a hotel bar/restaurant access as it is permanently closed.

Though this is an older property it had ample parking, the rooms were large and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the property and rooms were clean and the staff were both friendly and helpful. This is not the Ritz so if you are looking for high end, this isn't your property however if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay, this one a chance. (As other guests have mentioned, I would suggest bringing your own toilletries).
