Very pleasant, good view, few remarks

The hotel was comfortable and pleasant. A few remarks: the hotel is located in La Grazie, with very few restaurants. The one and only place to eat simply is La Marinara which has a waiting of more than an hour sometimes. The pool water temperature was too cold. The hotel does not have parking. One has to pay for parking.

Good hotel but no A/C

Knowing how hot Italy is I picked hotels with A/C. On Hotels.com it shows as having AC but in fact our room didn’t. We only stayed one night but it was very hot and hard to sleep. Otherwise the hotel was good, very clean, nice room, cute spot, helpful staff.

An absolutely gorgeous waterfront property that will instantly calm and relax you. My family and I (3 total) stayed a few days here in August and it was wonderful! there were a few things to keep in mind when booking here however. If you're looking for a touristy, night life place, this is probably not the place you're looking for. The surrounding town was definitely more local (i.e. English speakers might have some difficulty). Dining wise, the restaurant on site is wonderful, but if you want to explore other opportunities most things are a good walk or driving distance away, which was difficult for a member of our party who couldn't walk far. I do believe the town was a bit quieter than it would be in height of tourist season but, I think this was mainly because we went in September and most places were closed for vacation. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy the sea views!

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. We booked a double room with sea view, looked out over the really pretty Marina. There was a balcony but it was very small and only room for one person to sit so we couldn't really use it. The room was comfortable and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Sockets were a little odd and wouldn't hold an adaptor plug, the mini fridge in the room kept going off as the plug sagged out of the socket. All of the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant one night too and the food and service was excellent, mainly seafood.
Overall we would recommend, good value for money and a great base to explore the area.

Nice cozy hotel on the harbor with professional, accommodating, friendly staff. Old rooms with small steps in and out of room, tiny bathroom. But with plenty of natural light. Did not have sea view but backside dining area storage was not ugly looking. LeGrazie is a lovely , quiet town, with friendly people. Harborwalk in front of hotel is under construction.

Everything was perfect except the check in experience with the manager. We got to the hotel hungry, and before the restuarant closed, but he wouldn't serve us, he said too late, but we saw him serve others later. There was plenty of room. Also, no parking facilities and he wasn't helpful in that either. Great hotel, lousy manager.

Spectacular Hotel on the Marina

Fabulous location right on the water (marina) with amazing views. Large comfortable room with balconies and a sitting area with an extra pullout bed. Super helpful and friendly multi-lingual staff. Sparkling clean large pool with poolside cocktail service. Delicious food with spectacular presentation at their waterside onsite restaurant. Convenient shuttle service (fee) to Porto Venere made taking the ferry to Cinque Terre easy and enjoyable. A wonderful place to stay. We cannot wait to return!

If you like it simple, simple it is. Rather small rooms, showers that you barely fit in are the first impression. Positiv the nice pool, ample towels and not overrun during afternoon hours. The pool was in fact the reason why we chose the property even though the price tag was quite high.

We loved our stay at hotel Della Baia!! The location is not with in Cinque Terre so you have to take the bus to Portovenere and the boat from Portovenere to the 5 terres. But we would stay here again and again as it’s not too far and it’s a baurtoful hotel! One thing I would like is to increase the pool timing, as by the time you get done with the terres the pools closed (7:00 pm) other than that it’s lovely!! We had a room facing the ocean and it’s stunning!!

We came to this lovely hotel in this quaint little village many years ago and have always dreamed of returning. So glad we did. Such a peaceful area. The hotel is very nice, although a little more tired this time around. They have a GREAT breakfast and the staff is helpful and nice. It is neat a bus stop that will take you either to Porto Venera for a boat or to La Spetzia for the train to visit the Cinqua Terra area.

Nice hotel, in a quiet location

Great place if you want to get away from the crowds and noise, but good bus access to Portovenere - ready for your Cinque Terre adventure.

The hotel is located in a small village just about 10 km away from La Spezia. The hotel possess a beautiful view of the harbour. The place is unique and quiet at all times.
Staff of front desk service is nice and helpful.
When traveling on Cinque Terre, I would prefer to stay here instead the other crowded scenic area.

Fabulous waterfront position, but needs attention

Just an overnight stay in off season. The check in/out staff seemed disinterested and check out bloke even took a call on his private mobile, leaving us standing there packed and ready to pay. They were both shabbily dressed in jeans, one with his shirt hanging out.

Hotel in Portovenere

We only stayed a few nights in this hotel as hotels near the wedding we were attending were booked out. The hotel was pleasant and clean, rooms were really small and awkwardly shaped the bathroom was really small. The shower was particularly small and not really that comfortable to use. We were two girls and trying to get ready for a wedding in such a small awkward space wasn't ideal. There was also stairs to go up after the lift so lugging a heavy case up them wasn't ideal. The hotel is right on the marina front and so outside is very beautiful if a little quiet. Food and drink in the hotel were also expensive. There is a little deli just along the road to the right of the hotel and it was great, water and beer much cheaper we used it a lot. There didn't seem to be any public transport links back so be aware taxi to the train station in portovenere from this hotel was very expensive. I wouldn't go here for my holidays but for a few days it was fine.

A room with a beautiful view!

A little bit difficult to find but if you have a GPS is easy. Room was clean. However, I would change the blankets. One of them had a big hole. We couldn't tell if they were clean and we needed them because it was chilly at night. I think the shower space is only suitable for slim people. Done with the bad stuff. The view from our room was espectacular! Did I say it was espectacular? Yes indeed. Also good location to go to many other places. Room was quiet! Very nice!! And the balcony gave us a technicolor view of the boats and yachts and the church across the bay. Need I need to say more? Also, the food in the restaurant. AAAAAA, is that too many? You get the hint.

Not the best hotel I have stayed in.

I arrived at the Hotel to find it tucked away down a side street. If you want to see anything of interest it is a very long walk or a bus ride. Overall the Hotel is OK my room, I could not open the window or shutters as there were plants outside, so no daylight. The shower was far too small and the folding door very hard to move! I am a smaller person and not overweight so if you are above 5 feet and carrying any weight at all you will not fit! If going to this area you will need a car or not mind waiting for buses.

Not sure if because they were due to close for a month the next day, but... only one towel, no soap and although breakfast was advertised as at 7.30am, could not eat until 8am because they were late. Hotel was somewhat isolated in LaGrazie, several KM outside of Portavenere. However, there was a lovely port within walking distance, but no beach area (as depicted in the ad photo). The pool was private, clean, and refreshing. The dinner at the hotel ristorante was excellent. Overall, a wonderful reprieve from the hectic traveling from Roma to Cinque Terre.

Room with a very bad smell! Beware!

This was the worse experience in our 45 day European vacation. The toilet had a very bad smell that filled our room. It was a gas. All of our clothes had to be washed. We could not move room because all rooms were the same. We could not sleep it was so bad. We had to sleep with the windows open and the misquotes are us alive. I stayed here 14 years ago on my honeymoon and would never stay here again. Great breakfast / restaurant and nice to have a pool.

This hotel looks nothing like it's picture. There is no sandy beach in front and it is a small hotel with no fitness equipment. Our rooms were fine but baths were small. The a/c did not work well in one of our rooms and was very hot the first night. The restaurant service was so bad that we got up and left because a server never came to our table even though the dining room wasn't even half full. Would not stay there again.

Lovely hotel in perfect position on the quayside. Own swimming pool. Excellent personnell in reception and in the restaurant.
Unusual colourful mosaic tiling throughout the hotel, even in the bedrooms. The sound of toys and hoovers on the tiles in the room above will wake you in the morning at 07.00 so ask for a room on the second floor.
Excellent breakfast service and excellent service at their outdoor restaurant on the quayside. But if, like us, you're used to getting your seafood from the Atlantic or the North Sea then Meditterranian sea food is sadly lacking and the pretentious menu only offered 4 lamb chops as an alternative. A grilled steak in that environment would have made all the difference.

Overall realy good place for the price paid, calm and the view is very nice even at night. Breakfast was also nice and good.
On’y small issues are the size of the room and toilet (had to climb over the toilet to access the shower) and we could hear people walking on the corridor whoch can be annoying for some others.

Personale molto ospitale e gentile. Camera non tanto grande ma con tutto quello che serve. Il bagno risulta freddo, forse perché con i muri esposti verso l'esterno ma il giudizio resta comunque estremamente positivo. Buono il servizio ristorante (non ho gradito i tagliolini alle seppie, a mio avviso sconditi, ma è un giudizio personale). Colazione con un ricco buffet e buoni prodotti. Posizione ottima, più in riva al mare di così bisogna avere una barca. Prezzo adeguato.

Lugar fica numa marina incrível. Uma enseada tranquila e com vista privilegiada. O estabelecimento tem potencial mas precisa se organizar melhor para atender o padrão internacional. Na recepção foi tudo certo a atendente foi simpática e prestativa, mas os outros atendentes que estavam na recepção, não tiveram o mesmo cuidado de receptividade. Pareciam destreinados para a função. Já o quarto é ruim, pequeno, pouco espaco para acomodar a bagagem, com cama dura e travesseiros desconfortáveis. Banheiro bem pequeno. O que mais me incomodou foi os degraus das escadas que ligam os andares, que invadem o corredor central, formando um vão no meio do corredor, ou um obstáculo.... um leve descuido uma pessoa pode cair e se machucar. O hotel fica quatro enseadas antes de Portovenere. Uma caminhada de 300 metros tem um ponto de ônibus que vai para Portovenere ou para La Spezia. Bem tranquilo o deslocamento. Não tem restaurantes próximos ao hotel. O mais próximo, fica uns 400 metros. Mas o hotel tem um restaurante que atende bem quem fica ali. Comida boa e com bom preço. Os atendentes tambem precisam de mais treinamento, as vezes até tentam ser simpáticos mas acho que precisa melhorar. No geral, acho que o preço do hotel não corresponde ao conforto que esperada receber.

Hotel che si trova a mt. 5,00 dal mare, direttamente sul porticciolo turistico de Le Grazie. In Estate l' hotel sistema i tavoli per la cena direttamente sul molo ed è una bella esperienza. Personale molto gentile e cortese. Zona estremamente tranquilla e silenziosa. Facilità di parcheggio. Tutti gli ingredienti per passare un buon week-end

Mysigt mindre hotell med egen restaurang där vi åt en fantastiskt god middag! Personalen var dessutom oerhört trevlig. Konstverken på hotellet bidrog till den fina upplevelsen. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Molto accogliente. Disponibili al massimo. Non troppo comodo per le persone con disabilità. Bagno un po' piccolo senza maniglioni.
Insomma è un hotel che poteva essere perfetto in un luogo da sogno ...se solo si curasse un po' di più l'accessibilità per disabili.

Nice hotel but poor quality service

Somewhat rude service. Arrived early to be able to use the pool but didn’t feel welcome by receptionist. Many services at this hotel seems more to cater the needs of the staff rather than guests, eg short opening intervals for the restaurant (breakfast/lunch/dinner), slow service if any at the pool, cleaning of pool several hours during the morning so unable to do a morning swim. Seems like the competition is not strong enough in this area. Facility-wise the hotel is somewhat dated but well-maintained and clean.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit Charm in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Le Grazie ist eine Ruhe Oase. Das Pool ist groß und noch mit einem sympathischen Pool Boy, hat uns erfrischende Getränke serviert.
Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ und abends sehr romantisch.
Zimmer sind ein bisschen klein und leider ohne Schrank. Aber wir werden trotzdem wieder dort hinfahren.

L'albergo è grazioso, ben posizionato in una baia piacevole. Servizio ottimo, ristorante eccezionale. Unica pecca la camera 103 non vale 217€ spesi. Terzo letto inserito come sgabuzzino, finestra su corridoio dove passa la gente per andare in piscina
