Plush hotel in central location

Luxurious hotel although a bit dated decor. Central location - short walk to Friedrichstraße and adjacent streets with shops and restaurants but further away from the beach than other hotels

A lovely 150 year old classic that is a total delight.
The staff is wonderful and strives to accommodate your in every way and the hotel boasts 2 world class restaurants and a spa.
It is also right in the middle of the action in Westerland and a perfect choice for your visit to Sylt.

Classic hotel

Hotel is a very classic one - 150 years old. It is close to the beach, a very nice location in Westerland. The wellness area is good. If you like wallpapers with flowers and ornaments this is the place to go! Floors/carpets should be renewed. The first floor has the smell of a litter box. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Design ist \"old school\" im besten Sinne...gemütlich, heimelig, sehr schön...wir waren in der Vorweihnachtszeit, das Hotel war liebevoll dekoriert...sehr aufmerksam war, dass jeden Tag auf den Nachttischen eine frische Flasche Wasser bereit gestellt wurde, sogar bei der Abreise wurde uns für die Fahrt nach Hause eine Flasche Wasser angeboten...dazu ein schöner Wellnessbereich und sehr nettes Personal...was will man mehr?

Das Hotel Stadt Hamburg in Westerland auf Sylt war unsere erste Wahl. Die zentrale Lage, das ansprechende Zimmer, der Wellness-Bereich und das Essen im Restaurant sowie der Besuch der Bar hat zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt beigetragen.
Ganz besonders betonen möchte ich den sehr netten Service des Personals in allen Bereichen.

Kann man empfehlen

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, das Personal ist super freundlich gewesen. Ich glaube Kritikpunkte sind eher aufgrund von persönlichen Vorlieben. Ich mag zum Beispiel lieber ein Frühstücksbüffet als nur bedient zu werden. Die Speisen waren auf jeden Fall sehr Hochwertig. Mein Bett fand ich zu hart und habe bei der Abreise erfahren dass ich einfach nach einem Topper hätte fragen können. Es war trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt lit super Lage.

Hotelzimmer, die eine Renovierung nötig haben.

Die Insel Sylt war toll, wie immer. Nur vom Hotel war ich enttäuscht, mein Zimmer hatte mit einem 5 Sterne Hotel nichts zu tun. Trotz Beschwerde und der Bitte mal mit ins Zimmer zu kommen, und die Mängel gemeinsam anzuschauen, wurde nicht nachgekommen. Es gab auch keinerlei Entschädigung, es wurde einfach ignoriert.

Schade, hat es nicht mit einem ruhigen Zimmer in den Innenhof geklappt, aber sonst war wirklich alles super. Nur ein kleiner Tipp: Der Kollege, welchem einem zum Zimmer begleitet (bzw. in meinem Fall bis zum Lift) könnte ja ein paar wenige Worte über das Haus verlieren, z.B. was zu den Restaurants, Spa und wo es Frühstück gibt. Aber sonst wirklich alle hervorragend. Ich würde jederzeit und ohne Einschränkung wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Hotel! Alles in einem Perfekt!

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln! Ich war vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment super zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Sauna und das Schwimmbad villkommen ausreichend und perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück köstlich.

Bester Service während des gesamten Aufenthalts: das großartige Personal macht hier den Unterschied. Gepflegte Zimmer im englischen Stil mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten: frisches Obst bei Anreise, Espresso-Maschine im Zimmer, Bademantel. Kleine Tasche mit Badehandtuch für den Ausflug zum Strand.
Der Bahnhof ist fussläufig erreichbar, ebenso die Strandpromenade.
Bistro und Restaurant im Haus sind sehr zu empfehlen.
Gute Auswahl an hochwertigen Cocktails; sehr gut geschultes Barpersonal.
Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an Gerichten, die a-la-Minute frisch zubereitet werden. Sehr sympathische Verabschiedung bei der Abreise.
Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Rand der Fussgängerzone und fussläufig zum Strand.

Skønt hotel

Dejligt hotel, sublim service og virkelig lækkert spa område og fitness. Rent og pænt og lækkert rum, god plads og virkelig skønne senge. Morgenmaden var rigelig og man kunne vælge selv mellem
Mange muligheder.
Eneste udfordring var at vi havde booket til 2 voksne og 1 barn (11 år ) men der var ikke en ekstra opredning så vi blev nødt til at betale for ekstra opredning som
Var en udgift på 140Euro for 2 nætter. Derfor viste hotels.com simpelthen ikke den korrekte pris for bookningen, hvilket var en kedelig overraskelse - selvom hotellet var venlige og gav os en upgrade.
Hotellet vil jeg anbefale til enhver tid.
