Apsor is a 5 minute ride from where the wide action is at { Riverside} which is a good thing for me. Tuk Tuks are cheap - keep it that way - 8000 riel { 2 bucks} is plenty for a fairly long ride. And as usual - keep your street sense on alert in any foreign city.

The room was clean, bright and comfortable. The bathroom had very nice towels, though no face cloths. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. Everything in the room worked. My only minor issue was the bed too firm for my liking. But I still managed to sleep fine. The food offerings at breakfast were very good, with very helpful and pleasant staff to help. The hotel is close to many tourist destinations: Royal Palace, National Museum, Sosoro Museum.

I stayed here for two nights plus an extra night. The room was spacious & clean, breakfast was not all that good. Not much to chose from etc.The pool was very small & bar was not operating.

Also i was charged twice upon check out for the extra night booked. Expedia already charged me for the booking as this was booked online, & hotel ended up charging as well. Since i left Phnom Penh to Siem Reap now, there is no way to discuss issue for a refund. Overall not the best experience for $70 per night.

I really enjoyed my stay, which I extended it twice... Definitely a hotel I would stay again in. The staff was very nice and friendly, very nice room, good internet, some English Channel on TV - roof top pool was nice, buffet breakfast very good. Royal Palace was 10-12 minutes walk, Aeon shopping mall 15-20 minutes walk, Naga casino 15 minutes walk, etc.

None of these services are currently provided - and it has nothing to do with covid restrictions which have been lifted. It’s simply dishonest and misleading advertising. no restaurant, no roof top bar, room floors were dirty filth under the beds, windows and balcony could be be opened with a toothpick, reception never had currency to change to local currency, the pool is not a pool as it is only 12 inches deep which was fine as it was dirty overall 4 out of 10 would not recomend as it is a very tired property

I booked this Hotel on one occasion with Expedia and 4 other times with Hotels.com as I teavelled to and from Phnom Penh.
Prior to going to Cambodia I was visiting friends in China for the Spring Festival.
I was very nervous about Corona virus and returned to Canada.
I canceled with Hotel.com and received immediate refund.
Expedia did not refund.
Be very careful with Expedia.ca.
Hotel.com is very good and most professional

The hotel rooms are nice and large and its location is excellent.
However, its food is absolutely disgusting, I ordered a well done steak and when it arrived, the cow was still mooing. Never have I seen such an undercooked piece of meat served to anyone in my life. Their pizzas are from the frozen section of a supermarket, dry as, with ingredients not applicable to what was ordered.
As for their breakfast, well they have deteriorated over the years, the buffet breakfast was once a highlight of a stay at the QG but now its so disappointing.
The staff do not understand English at all.
I have stayed here many times over the past 6 years, even recommended it to friends who have also stayed but after this stay - never again. So disappointing!

have a room for us, even though we had prepaid for the room and they sent a car to collect us from the airport. On the upside they did get us a room at their partner hotel
next door but I think that is was probably of a lesser standard but was more than adequate for a one night stay.

This hotel is tucked away up a little street, close to everything. Massage places, laundry services which we used with 24 hr turnaround. Tuk tuks a right outside if you need one. Clean tidy rooms, buffet breakfast, and staff are helpful, friendly and happy to help. Sometimes they struggled with the English language, but we managed to get what we needed.
Would stay here again.

This place has become my second home in Phnom Penh. The staff are so nice and very friendly and sweet. They are very accomodating. When I went away for the weekend it was safe to store my luggage here. They also have excellent complimentary breakfast. I highly recommend the omelets!

An enjoyable 6 days at this hotel. We had booked a room with balcony which was very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Although there were several restaurant in the street, the location was a little far from main attractions. Some were within a good walk, but there were always tuk-tuk taxis available at reasonable prices, so getting around was not too difficult. Although in a small street there is lots of construction in progress. In fact almost everywhere in Phnom Penh.Overall I would give the hotel the highest rating but for the construction. However, the noise was never a problem and stopped at night.

Friendly staff, and it is walking distance to Royal Palace fronted by Mekong River. Not too far from eateries and pub once you passed the Royal Palace. Food is fair and I tend to go for Italian and French as suggested by my friends although tried the Khmer which is somewhat between the Thai and Vietnamese. Curry is sweetened.
Massage are priced from USD5 (foot) and USD12 to 20 (aroma), fairly skillful masseuse. The old tends to be better.
Along road seems like old Singapore but when you move to financial center and some up market places (not many at mom) like AEON it offers similar to the good shopping centers around Asia. Just bring USD as it is accepted and most quoted currency.
Did not go Killing Fields this trip, but I think Angkor Wat at Siem Reap has more to see. Although I was forewarn of pickpockets I thought it looks fairly safe but it is good to always be careful on the street. People are friendly like Thailand.

Customer service was fantastic! We were charged for drinks on our last day to our room; in which we never ordered and the bill was signed by a different name. The front desk staff were very polite and rectify it in a timely manner. We certainly will be staying there again in a near future.

When I complained about the AC, they look after the issue right away. The housekeeping staff brought an extra electric fan to ease the warm condition of the room. However, the elevator needs improved ventilation. Overall, great service.

Overall good hotel but the pool facilities are not as advertised. They had a photo of an infinity pool on the rooftop but in reality it's completely covered and there's no view from the pool and to get to the pool you had to go down into reception and the pool is in the hotel next door.. called King Boutique which is also owned by the same owner. Breakfast was limited for the vegan diet even though message was sent to them earlier to advise of diet.

Great hotel very close to main attractions. Palace, Museum etc. You can walk to cruise terminal to get boats to silk island and sunset tours. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Tut tuts everywhere normally $1-3 depending where you go. Always haggle.

Lovely well presented hotel. Staff very sweet. Our room was clean and modern. The pool was a lot smaller than expected - I did however just see it in a picture I didn’t read any descriptions on line when I booked. May have said it was a dipping pool. It did the job though. The sos service was nice we had massages - was a little confusion on what we wanted though. And the girls talked to one another a lot of the time which was annoying and not very relaxing.

The staff was pleasant but distant. I tried to break a hundred dollar bill at the hotel twice--the first time they wouldn't accept it because it had a miniscule tear, mind you I exchanged it at a local currency place with no issue, the second time they didn't have the change. This was that lackluster staff I experienced here and no where else in Cambodia. They have a system where the A/C turns off when you leave; I get it but it struggled to work in the first place so it was blazing hot everytime we returned. Breakfast was good. Meh. Please note it pains me to not write a stellar review because Cambodian businesses need the tourists. I just felt this place was adequate.

Great spot for our quick 48hr tour through Phnom Penh. Our room was quite nice, comfortable and had a great view of the city. The hotel was location a very short walk to the Independence monument. Lots of tuk tuk drivers close by to take you to see the sights.

The restaurant/bar had happy hour pretty much all afternoon, which made the time at the pool thoroughly enjoyable. The Spa was great. We booked hour massages our first day and booked a second one for the next day since they were so good.

Be sure to try the Nepalese/Indian food place directly across the way. It was delicious and very well priced.

All in all we had a great stay at the Queen Grand.

Only stayed 1 night and when I booked in I was told I was getting an upgrade. Excited, went to the room and outside the window was the wall of the hotel next door app 2 meters away with a large air conditioner attached. Opened the window and hot air from this machine blew into my room. I hate to think what the room that I was upgraded from was like. The pool area although small was nice, breakfast OK. Wouldn't have stayed there a second night.
