Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room was old and poorly maintained, and I noticed cockroaches, which was very unpleasant. There was also no hot water, making the stay uncomfortable. This was not the standard I expected. I hope management improves cleanliness and maintenance.

This was my first time visiting Benin. And I have to say it was an amazing experience. Everything was beautiful. The rooms were clean. I didn't see one bug the whole time I was there. I was there for over a week. I'm coming back next year and will definitely stay here again. Im telling all my friends and family about this hotel and the experience that I had it was excellent. Best experience than I've ever had in the US

i booked this hotel because it was rated 4 stars and it was close to the airport. I must confess I didn’t spend time in actually reading the reviews here and on Google, I just booked based on ratings. To the issue:
I arrived really late, I had already called to set up an airport pickup (a plus) when I got out the driver was not at the vehicle and but had the vehicle running, my flight arrived 1hr late so this can be excused. Arrived at the hotel and was taken to my room, first look wasn’t impressive, the furnitures look really old compared to the pics posted. Getting ready to lay on the bed, I noticed a black stain on the duvet cover, and the bedsheet was torn in 2 spots 😟. I requested for everything to be changed. I only planned to stay for 2 nights so switch hotels at midnight wouldn’t be a smart decision for me. I went for breakfast and it was quite disappointing as well, spoke to another guest who expressed his distaste towards the breakfast options. The staffs are not knowledgeable about their area, asked them questions and they all usually look confused. The internet was TERRIBLE 😭, I complained so they brought a router to my room which made the stay enjoyable. The shower couldn’t give hot water, it was regular temp at best. The hotel is close to a night club so on Friday night, I could hear vibrations or bass from the music. It wasn’t overwhelming, I could sleep with the sound.
I love they have a money exchange, spa and African decor in the hotel.

The hotel has a serious cockroach infestation! After my husband killed 3 I called the lobby hysterically when they were calm I googled what cockroaches was called in French to which I frantically yelled cafard! Cafard! I expected they would offer to Change the room or something. They send someone from housekeeping with insecticide who sprayed the room while we went to the lobby and didn’t bother to clean the ones killed.
I guess it wasn’t just the rooms cos if you spend enough time in the breakfast room you will see them crawling out of the joints of the furniture.
Bring your sheets and towels if possible! Cos we we didn’t dear use their towels. Plus there is no hot water! I called the receptionist as usual and I got a nonchalant answer there was nothing they could do, yes there is no hot water in the hotel.
For food just go to makoomba which is to the right of the hotel about 3 mins walk but they only take cash. I regret we didn’t try makoomba earlier considering they recycle left over food from dinner and served it for breakfast!
The only plus was the manager who is nice, but I don’t know if he knows how terrible the place is especially for almost $100 a night!

J'ai apprécié le séjour, après un mois dans les gîtes africains. La nourriture était bonne, la chambre agréable et propre, le service vers l'aéroport sans faille (la navette est venue me conduire à 4.00 AM!).
Toutefois, toute petite déception, on me dit que je peux prendre l'eau dans le réfrigérateur pour finalement me dire, au moment de libérer la chambre, que je n'avais droit qu'à une petite bouteille, me chargeant l'autre, que je paie mais l'hôtel n'avait pas la monnaie...
