Sleek, luxury 5-star hotel with excellent service and great facilities near the Confucius temple. When you check-in, they welcome you with winter melon tea, which was sweet and refreshing. We had the deluxe family queen bedroom, which was super spacious, with two queen-size beds, a long sofa and a dining table area. We were fortunate to be on the higher floors, and had a good view of the city looking South. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower, which was nice. The beds were a tiny bit hard but we slept fine. One highlight of the room is the amenities. The hotel provides an array of teas, coffees, cold drinks and snacks, not to mention extra bottles of water plus a water pitcher. (There are water dispensers on every floor.) There’s plenty of towels, a rare thing for hotels these days, plus slippers and bathrobes. Everything made our stay extremely comfortable and we enjoyed every minute here. The only downside of the hotel is that it’s also a popular wedding banquet venue, so the lobby gets crammed up with loud banquet guests, who like to gather and smoke right outside the front entrance, making it unpleasant to get in and out while they’re there. The hotel also shares outdoor spaces with nearby department stores, such as parking entrances, so quite a lot of speeding cars will cross paths with hotel foot traffic, making it dangerous to walk around. But overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would make this our go-to stay in Tainan anytime we visit.

The room was upgraded to a gorgeous suite! Staff was wonderful and eager to please. We loved the lounge but wished there was more control over rowdy and noisy children who were highly disruptive. We’re staying at a Hyatt in Taipei now and there are frequent signs which prohibit children running, screaming or playing.

This would be our 5th or 6th time staying at Silk Place Tainan. We keep coming back here everytime we visit Tainan due to cleanliness and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and delicious Buffett breakfast. This time my kids also used the pool which was nicely heated. It is also located close to a major department store. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Tainan and I know we will be back again in the future.

台南晶英一直以來都是我到台南的首選，但這次的經驗真的不同以往，讓人失望，房間設施已有舊舊的感，且其他迎賓飲品無法與先前堪比，以前住的都不想離去現在是讓人想快點結束。房務人員也不親和真的不如從前，要好好跟太魯閣菁英學學!!!!

Tried a new hotel and wished I hadn't.

Shower and overall water temperature was lukewarm at best but since it was only a one-night stay I just made the best of it. Bedsheets felt a bit scratchy and made it a little difficult to fall asleep but the room was otherwise comfortable. I paid for the breakfast buffet and for the price, was not overly impressed with the food quality or selection. Next time in Tainan, I will go back to my regular hotel (Queena Plaza).

I had two rooms for two nights. Hotel is a 4/5, but the inability of the staff to internally communicate a late checkout led to a very negative experience.

The night before checkout, I went to the front desk asking if they could accommodate a late checkout. They offered an 1pm for both rooms and I inquired if we could do just one room for 2pm (we were scheduling around my toddlers afternoon nap) and they said it was not a problem. I confirmed this for a second time that evening and confirmed a third time the next day at the checkout if the first room. Then as my toddler was napping they called the room at 1230 asking us to checkout. This woke up my toddler and I went to the front desk to again confirm the 2pm checkout for the fourth time. They apologized for the confusion. Then, my 5th interaction was with a cleaner that unlocked the room door and attempted to enter to clean at 1pm, waking my toddler again. When we finally checked out nothing else was offered and we left with my child in a full tantrum.

I expect better from Silks.

I stayed at the 14th floor. The room was spacious and clean! It’s right next to a department store. So very easy for shopping, and has lots of restaurants options in that area. Quiet at night too. I loved all the cute unique decorations too! Overall a nice hotel, would recommend!

床鋪隔壁在動的時候也略有感。枕頭可以選軟硬。
早餐分中西式（二選一），西式很好吃，中式還沒嚐到。
贈送的飲料很好喝，咖啡也不錯。
整體隔音很讚，幾乎聽不到吵鬧。
贈送壽星的蛋糕也非常好吃！

I really like the attentive care this hotel gives to its guests. They will also try their best to meet the needs of the guests! I think it's a great hotel! Shopping malls and eating places are within walkable distance! The room is also very clean! The most novel thing is that this hotel has placed an AI in every room. We loved everything about this hotel…location, cleanliness, attentive staff, etc. specific small details that made our stay pleasant included lots of power outlets, great lighting options in the room, and a well lit vanity mirror in the bathroom. Slippers, bath robes, moisturizing masks, and daily fruit and tea service in the room were also very nice touches. At check in, they recognized that my birthday was during our visit. They gave me a voucher for a specialty mini cake. This is a great place to stay if you’re ever visiting Tainan. I highly recommend it.

帶長輩到台南旅遊，入住台南晶英酒店的體驗非常棒，沒有讓他們失望。

前台房務的服務人員親切有禮，在小細節上的安排也很貼心，讓人有賓至如歸的感覺。

酒店房間寬敞舒適，每天有新鮮水果供應，喜歡吃水果的長輩很喜歡。冰箱裡有氣泡茶，每個樓層有一座公用的加水機，可以裝氣泡水和熱水，台南有這麼多美食，晚上回到飯店喝一口氣泡飲料解膩也是不錯的。

下次跟家人和朋友去台南，入住晶英酒店是我的Top 3之選。

Nice clean and spacious room, The location is great to walk to the art center, and lots of nearby historical spots.

Their room is very clean and the bed is firm enough.
However, there is no working desk inside the room, and no offer of a self served laundry room for long-term travellers.

Lovely large and quiet room, also a big bathroom, Nespresso machine in room, seating bench at window, and small dining table too. TV doesn’t have Netflix but one can stream to it. Gym is lacking reasonable weights and equipment for a 5 star hotel (should be better), but we went to the awesome World Gym a few hundred metres away, cost NTD650 per daily session.

入住體驗非常棒，唯一小缺點是我們是開電動車前往，但飯店只提供給兩個品牌的車子免費充電，並且表示若要充電四個小時費用是NTD1000，這價錢非常不合理，於是我必須另外到外面尋找地方充電，充電加路程花費將近兩個小時的時間，無法享受到飯店那麼好的設施，令人覺得非常可惜，能理解飯店和品牌有簽約，但建議也能有其他設施能夠提供開其他品牌電動車的客人方便。

I stayed here with my mother and 2 children for one night. The check in process was easy and staff was very friendly. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. Multiple coffee shops and 7-11 store within 5 minute walk from the hotel and there a free shuttle to the High Speed Rail around the corner. Overall, an excellent hotel!
