Rooms were cleaned but not till very late early evening. Room was not well equiped for boiling kettle. Only power was on the floor in an inconvenient spot. Luggage rack was broken. Telephone didn’t work. Hot water not always available at night for showers. Internet intermittent and not available at all New Year’s Eve. No info in the room with regard the hotel or surroundings. I’ve stayed here many times previously and disappointed this time.

Séjour un peu moyen car le quartier est assez bruyant (dans le Little India de Bkk). Si vous cherchez la nourriture indienne en Thaïlande, ce serait peut-être parfait pour vous. Un point étonnant, la réception est au 4e étage et pas dans le hall (soit-dit en passant, hôtel très sombre dans les lieux communs). Chambre correcte, propre et spacieuse, lit très spacieux également.

First room offered had been converted into a staff room, sleeping facilities for maid services. It was a delay and at one point I didn't think we were going to get our room. Eventually we were given a good room but some things were missing like a face cloth in the bathroom and toothbrush. I was expecting a little more luxury but the price and location is excellent, not far from Central World.

what was has finished.
reception now on the 4th floor no porters fend for your self.
No facilities at all the pool falling apart weeds growing in the pool paving, tiles falling off.
No bars,only one place to eat.
Breakfast set menu 200B and cooked the day before and reheated we could not eat it and left.
Our rooms Jnr Suites good clean air con could be a little better.
Overall be warned not very good.

This was clearly once a grand hotel, walking in exudes the grandeur of days past but, the hotel has not kept up with time.
2 of the 4 elevators were out of service during my stay and, I got stuck in one of them and the front desk, when contacted seemed disinterested.

On the plus side, the remainder of the staff seemed lovely (although the woman who checked me in wrote down my credit card number and expiry when taking my room deposit) and the hotel is close to the airport rail link

1. Venue. Right at centre of Pratunam, within walking distance of Pratunam market, CentralWorld and Big C.
2. Room is clean and spacious.
3. Housekeeping staff is positive and courteous.

Dislikes:
1. Premise photos not representing the current conditions. General areas are dimly lit, such as the ground floor entrance, reception and room corridor. Gym, pool and breakfast cafe no longer available.
2. Aircon leaking in one of booked rooms.
3. Administrative coordination between 3rd party online booking website and hotel reservation and reception staff. The staff was unable to find the 2nd room reservation, hence unable to arange for rooms to be adjacent to each other, even when prior email was sent to request for the arrangement. Upon reaching hotel, the reception staff was also unable to find the 2nd room reservation initially and took a subtantial time to finally confirm the reservation.
4. No slippers provided.

In conclusion, the hotel is probably not up to its previous grandeur as what the photos suggested.

Positive: Location. The hotel is surrounded by a popular night market focused on clothing and accessories. There are also many street food vendors. If you like Indian cuisine, there are multiple Indian restaurants nearby.

Negative: Many amenities the hotel advertises don't exist - room service, cultural activities in their Thai pavilion, spa, children's pool (empty) etc. Overall the property felt deserted and run down.

Unacceptable: Staff tried to scam us over a hand towel. Our child spilled some tomato juice and we used a hand towel to try to clean the floor. They tried to charge us 1000 Bhat (about $30) in damages for the towel when there was a sign in the room saying you could buy a new towel for 350 Bhat. We told them we would have the towel cleaned instead. Overall it wasn't the money so much as the extremely odd behavior of the staff over the towel. We got four separate phone calls about the towel - annoying while on vacation - and when we did get it cleaned, they insisted we bring it to the front desk so they could verify we didn't substitute a new towel (what?). We then stood there as they took multiple photos of the towel, held it up to the light to examine, etc.

We called Expedia that night and told them we were leaving early. It was getting too weird. When we told the front desk we were leaving they insisted on sending the maid up to verify nothing was \"damaged or missing.\" Overall this is not the way to treat hotel guests.

We had a mixup at checkin which gave us a bad first impression. They worked very hard, especially Marissa, to try to make it up to us. The hotel is clean and in a great location. It looks like they are still recovering from the tourism slump; they keep it clean but staffing is less and they are saving money on electricity. Should bounce back soon now that tourism is returning.

My experience was not good as I was informed on arrival at the hotel that I had not paid my hotel accommodation for the time duration when in fact I had paid for this stay over a month before I made my travel. I had to call my family in Australia to get to the bottom (I even showed a printout that showed full payment ) then I was told on arrival that I did not have a hotel room booked.

Stay at the junior suite room with 2 rooms. Booked with specification of 5 guest , paid extra for the 5th person. Room inside no extra bed or arrangement for the 5th person eg. ,4 towel, 4 mineral water..... need to go to lobby to argue for the 5th breadfast in the morning despite having pay for 5 guest. Worst experience in BKK hotel

After Check in the room was dirty and the bathroom did not have towels ,toothbrush etc and as if nit expecting any guest.Does not have any disposable slippers too cause their slipper are all wash and very dirty.Aircon was spoil and took them almost 2hrs in the room to fix.I ask for refund on the day of check in within 4hrs and was told couldnt refund etc,i told them i can make do and they can charge me a day and the rest of the remaining 2days i want a refund but again couldnt.I will never ever step into this rotten service

Indra Regent has great accessibility - just 3-5 mins from the Ratcharaprop BTS station.

We waited for about 15 mins to check in, simply because there were only 2 staff at the reception counter. There were about 5 or 6 groups waiting to check in. Attitude of staff seemed quite unpleasant.

Breakfast buffet was acceptable. The walls are not too insulated, noises from the corridor can be heard clearly.

Overall, for SGD75/night, it is quite value for money to stay here.

Employees at the reception desk seem to completely hate their jobs. The woman checking us in barely spoke, used hand motions to communicate, didn’t smile, didn’t inform us of where the breakfast was and what time it began.

Next, we went to the concierge to purchase wifi. This man did not greet us, asked for the 100baht and then when we asked simple questions he just always awkwardly laughed and pointed us to leave.

These initial encounters when checking in really left a bad taste in our mouths for this hotel simply because of the terrible customer service.

The only upside is the location and the shops on site and within close proximity. Overall, there are many other hotels in Bangkok that would treat their guests with much more respect.

This was the worst experience of highly impolite and almost abusive behaviour of the reception desk. People there (all of them behind the desk) had looks on their faces as if they have just returned from a funeral. Thailand is considered as one of the most polite and friendly places, seeing such a behaviour is like a black spot in name of this country. Fellow Indians, avoid this hotel if your self respect is your asset. Rooms are smelly, linens are perhaps reused without washing. Not hygienic condition even for breakfast as well.

Stay was decent and safe hotel. Had a nice view in our room. Breakfast has improved from my last stay in 2013 which was a sweet surprise.
What was bothering me is that with many lower star hotels providing free wifi, you charge for them. Would be fantastic if wifi is complimentary as well. Noone to attend to at concierge that we ended up pushing our items down on our own. Room service staff was a lil rude when we asked her for help. Aside from these, it was worth the $$, thanks indra!

Great price for a 4-star hotel!

Location was definitely good, with Pratunam Market right at the front of the hotel. The hotel was located above Indra Square which has McDonalds and KFC. While it is a convenient 200m+ walk from ARL Ratchapraprop, it is fairly far to the nearest BTS Chit Lom. However, a new R Walk has been built which makes travelling really convenient.

Basic amenities were provided - bath & hand towel, shampoo + shower gel + soap. Nothing much to complain except that on one of the days, one of the bath towels was stained, only realised after using it. Beds were pretty clean, however, on one of the days, noticed 2 holes in the pillowcase. No unwanted house guests were seen during our stay of 5 nights.

Like what many guests complained about, the hotel lacks wifi in its room which many other accommodations will gladly provide.

However, I won't be complaining about the hotel for the price I am paying for. Will gladly stay in Indra again on my next trip!

HOTEL.COM BOASTS KING SIZE BED CAN SLEEP FOUR!!

We booked with Hotel.com and were concerned whether the room could accommodate five persons (we paid for five pax). On 19 Jul (before our Aug stay), I expressed my concern with Hotel,com. On July 21, Mr Martin. J, Customer Support Specialist replied that \" the room has 1 king bed (suitable for maximum 4 people) and 2 double beds (1 per bed) which can accommodate up to 6 people in the room. Regarding your concern if 5 person can sleep in the room, yes, the room is capable to hold at least 6 person.\". I replied Your reply is so ridiculous yet hilarious, I am going to post on Facebook when I get to my hotel room in Bangkok. This is not a threat, it’s really a Failed Reply gem: a King size bed that can hold four people?!! Can you please at least do a decent check and ask the hotel directly or ask for a picture of the king size bed, take a look before you write nonsense?\". Here's my photo to prove my case. Two of us slept on the floor.

Everything was fine until the last day. Expected a package and was not notified by the hotel when it arrived. Forgot about it until we were headed to the airport. Called hotel but front desk staff was curt and impatient, probably due to the language barrier. The fault was largely mine but the staff’s last minute attitude and lack of empathy turned an otherwise pleasant stay into one with a sour aftertaste.

We visited Jun 2019, hotel reception was very rude that gives a clear first impression. On top if you are \"Indian\" the treatment is horrible. It is an old property and popular as very near to \"Indra Square\" famous for shopping. Don't look for low deal it is not worth.

Room was big but a very small 32\" LCD, no charging points accessibility, No extra tea bags (refill only once a day), \"INTERNET ONLY FREE IN LOBBY\" biggest issue. I used Hotels.com and they don't update details properly.

We went for breakfast and again same issue... dual faces and if you are Indian it is horrible experience. Very old staff with no energy or smiling faces. Same food all 4 days (Fried Rice) that looks all same.

If planning to get a hotel in near by area look for Baiyoke that we stayed last time and it was simple amazing experience.

One comments I dont Like is the Bathroom Shower

1. Water pressure very low
2. around 12 pm and evening 6 to 7 pm No Cold Water when shower

Internet connection is very poor. Rooms are good. But housekeeping terrible. We had to give 4 calls to get down someone to clean the room. Location is excellent for shopping.

we were totally disappointed with this hotel. Nowaday of 21 st century from the hostel to mini hotel ... every where offer free wifi internet this hotel ask for 100 thb per day.
when we book the room they said we have a compliment internet but after check-in they told us complimentary internet only in the lobby. Misleading customer, stingy, .cheap quality toilet papers

In the restaurant when we ask for salt and pepper they gave us 2 saucers of salt and pepper. We are not finishing to use they already took those two saucers to the other table without asking us.
