Lovely quiet resort and nice little pool. The beach is nice but you can’t really swim because of rocks but we just enjoyed pool time. It’s also just a couple of quid ride to the night market and all the eateries and stalls so a good little position. Food and drink nice at resort too. Our room was huge with a lounge and kitchen with little terrace and hanging chair - gorgeous! Staff were ALL so lovely :)

Got upgraded to the Royal suite- fantastic. Yut and his team really looked after us, great recommendations for what to do with the kids Around Samui and great restaurant too. Great swimming pool and well maintained facilities, not easy to do given the virus has shut so much down on the island. Beach view and kayaks to use, but the beach is not swimmable.

Wonderful Hotel

Wonderful hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room fantastic, food very good (breakfast is extremely good). Only (minor) criticism is the service at breakfast declined a bit when they had several guests eating at the same time.

Great location, wonderful views, peaceful, and within walking distance of one of Samui’s best seafood restaurants (for both taste and price). We’ve stayed here 4 days and eaten here 4 days.

The service was sublime they really go to an effort to make sure you having an enjoyable time. They offer you little gifts, little touches to make you feel looked after. The resort is clean and very well maintained. In a great spot if you want to have a retreat from the bustle of Lamai. Spent time on the beach and had the entire beach to myself. Great Stay!!!

Nice rooms although beds really hard. Staff try to be helpful but many don’t speak English or understand you which can be frustrating but they were all very sweet and tried to help. Resort could be amazing but all outside facilities including the gym are tired and could do with attention. Beach bare was only manned half of the time we were there and beds on beach dirty and also hard. Having said all that we had a very pleasant stay! I would recommend still. The pool is lovely for kids and adults and all guests that we spoke to were happy with their stay too.

Our family holiday at Royal Beach was fantastic. We are a family of four with two young boys and the facilities were excellent. The beach was clean, pool clean, room quiet and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful and it helped to male this a great holiday in Koh Samui. We hired a car to get around the island which was organised by reception, who couldn’t do enough to make our stay pleasant.

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was really good with plenty of choices made to order. The staff were friendly although sometimes a little slow at making cocktails. The pool, bar and beach areas were nice as was the restaurant which gave a sea view. The location wasn't great, it was about a 5 minute car ride or 25 min walk to Lamai center and beach but the hotel had a driver onsite to take you where ever you want (at a cost) so you didn't have to wait around for a taxi. On arrival we got complimentary ice cream which was a nice touch. We would stay here again.

Royal Beach Boutique 2018

The hotel is located a few miles from Lamai Beach, center of town, on a private small beach. It shows pride of ownership throughout the property: grounds are maintained immaculatly and staff attentive to guests. On-site restaurant has great quality of food, romantic dinner set up and music at night. The breakfast was wonderful. The bungalow we stayed feels a bit small, but the hotel experience more than compensated it!

It's located on a terrible stonish beach shore, south from Lamai beach. Taxis in koh samui are extremely expensive what make this hotel even less attractive. They try to be fancy but they are not!!! They are absolutely amatures and far away from that. Breakfast is super Lame!! The matress was awful, BAD value for money. Try to share my thoughts and feelings with the nice receptionist but except of smiling at me did not had anything to say. Even the manager didn't came to talk to us. The staff was extremely nice.

Gorgeous resort!

Big, clean, modern room. Great view of the ocean from our balcony. Clean pool with lots of pool loungers. Staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was delicious, though some days the cooked food wasn't hot enough. (If you eat outside, beware of birds trying to steal your food!) Beach was clean and private. Great swimming in the ocean. Not enough loungers near the beach. Lots of seating at bar area near beach. Absolutely loved this place, and definitely would go again!

A wonderful holiday.

Just returned from a 10 day stay here, Vince and staff were very attentive to our every need. I had taken my partner there for her 50th birthday and all staff played a part in making it the most amazing holiday and birthday for her. The Royal Beach Resort was very peaceful and tranquil, only 5 min's in a taxi took you to many bars and restaurants. We are already discussing another holiday there. It is well worth the visit.

This hotel was all i expected. a good standard, clean, a pool and a beach. Unfortunately the breakfast was a little limited, as same noodles and rice dish very day, and little fruit, still a nice breakfast, but I have seen better.
If you crave western breakfast you will be happy with the food.

Great Family Vacation!

After a month of traveling in south east Asia were were so pleased to arrive at this resort for some relaxation. The hotel location and facilities were great! There were very few people on the beach which made for an exceptionally peaceful stay. The hotel staff were fantastic and we would highly recommend this resort!

Nice hotel away from hustle and bustle.

Lovely situation overlooking the southern part of Lamai Beach. Small and quiet and all rooms appeared excellent but we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the honeymoon suite with a Jacuzzi on the deck and the most amazing views. The service was faultless and facilities excellent. The staff and extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Lovely boutique type hotel.

Friendly staff and quiet surroundings were main attractions. Pool was great and very clean. Afternoon cocktails by the pool were mandatory for my daughter and myself. While we were there not many people frequented the beach bar but we found it excellent, also food in dining room was good for evening meals. Beach itself was kept very clean and looks pretty but too rocky for swimming so we walked to Lamai Beach a few times (about 15mins). Have to be careful walking on road as lots of traffic and no proper footpath Weather in July was good (dont take too much notice of the forecast- although it rained a couple of times it was only for 5 mins or so). All in all a pleasant experience - would recommend the hotel for couples or anyone wanting a laid back holiday.

Could have been perfect

We were over for a family wedding and between us we took approx 10 suites. Personally we stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite which is pictured online for their advertising and it was a nice room and a nice setting, the staff were very pleasant and polite but there were a few things that stop me from saying it was perfect and those are as follows:-
1) The shower in the corner had a very poor drainage system and would spill over on the floor tiles causing a slip hazard. The other shower over the bath had a design flaw which was when the water from the shower would splash and pool around the bath edge subsequently having no where to drain to other than the floor. So either shower you used could cause slip hazard on the tiled floor.
Due to this point my partner slipped in the bathroom with a glass in their hand, this smashed on the floor and my partner banged their head on the bathroom door as the room is not huge.
We did not at this point see the first points as an issue until check out when the receptionist charged us for the glass 200 TB which is approx £4 which for Thailand was very expensive. Upon leaving though we got a taxi booked through the receptionist, in the taxi my partner raised the fact they were charged for the glass which frustrated me as it was only smashed due to their inadequate bathing facilities not draining and causing the slip hazard. I told my partner they should have refused to pay and that the staff should be grateful we were not claiming for the slip due to th

Nice hotel but not possible to swim in the sea

The hotel is great but not good for sea lovers. I booked there as friends had already booked. But the sea is extremely shallow, there are rocks in the water, and sea urchins, and when you think you have made it to take a swim out there, there is an algae barrier impossible to cross... impossible to swim without scorching one's knees !!! If you like spending your time at the swimming pool or lying on the beach it's great ! The sea water swimming pool is nice, there is one side for kids. The staff is nice, the breakfast is really excellent and served à la carte (you tick what you want). My friends have been upgraded in a villa with private pool facing the sea ! This was cool with our kids !! The AC is super silent, I managed to sleep with it and usually I have to turn it off at night because of the noise. The bed is comfortable. Excellent hotel but bad location. Such a pity, this is why I would not recommend it !

Good for families with kids and romantic vacations

I travelled with 2 kids under 12 y.o., the hotel is a small stylish hotel, with a good care of the landscapes, rooms are well decorated, mango trees are around the buildings, a clean pool (rather small but it is OK), really good breakfast until noon, Thai massage in the hotel SPA, free rental of kayaks. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food. The small beach is fine as long as you are not going to spend time in the sea; if you want to spend more time swimming, go to Lamai beach. Thai massage is always more expensive in hotels than on the streets, but the conditions are better on site; just ask for special offers. What to do: Lamai beach and shops/restaurants in that area (5-7 min by taxi), La Scala Italian restaurant across the street (if your kids do not understand spicy meal), Aquarium and Tiger Zoo (10 min by taxi), Khrua Chao Ban and Sabeinglae Restaurants are large and with a good menu, try local curries (walking distance about 0.5km, to the left and to the right from main entrance to the hotel). We did not go to Elephant Trekking, it is supposedly not far from here. We left hotel early in the morning and were given breakfast boxes. The hotel charges extra 3% for credit card transactions vs cash. Also, do not lose your room keys as the fine is high (1500 Baht per lost key; an unexpected rule at hotels in other parts of the world). If you prefer to be surrounded by a more active life, select a hotel in other locations, e.g. Lamai Beach. I was very happy with hotel.

We Were Treated Very Badly!

DO NOT PRE PAY THIS HOTEL: We arrived to a room upgrade (because someone in our room had extended their stay for 2 nights). Upgrade room was revolting and stunk of sewage. Complained 1st thing in the morning and NOTHING was done until we asked again. They offered to move us to a 3* hotel miles away, but we refused and they begrudgingly found another room. We had 2 nights in that room (with our kids on a mattress because it wasn't big enough for 4 of us) and then whilst we were out at a pre-wedding celebration they moved all our luggage into a 3rd room without consulting us. Worse still they literally threw our belongings in suitcases, we didn't discover this until we arrived back in the evening and our key didn't work! We hadn't left the hotel until 1pm that day so had plenty of chance to warn us or even ask us. So, in 5 nights we stayed in 3 rooms and the manager showed her face for all of 5mins. Staff were basically slovenly. At breakfast time they didn't once sweep the floor between sittings so you'd walk into food, crumbs and dirty napkins under every table. We definitely felt we'd been over charged (£300/night for a deluxe family room) which they didn't deliver. I pre paid the booking and when my husband asked for some sort of compensation for only spending 2 nights out of 5 in the room we booked they refused and instead offered us a free transfer to airport (£14). Don't be fooled that this is in anyway a swish, smart hotel.

We were led to believe we were staying in a two bedroom appartment with a seperate area to sit but no the only place to sit was on the terrace which overlooked the kitchens so quite a noisy terrace

Lugnt och stillsamt hotell. Ett lite mindre och mysigt hotell som även passar för barnfamiljer.
Vi var där på första långresan utan barn men blev inte störda av de barnfamiljer som var där.
Trevlig personal som hjälpte till med allt man önskade.
Låg vid egen strand. Stranden hade lite stenig botten men gick ändå att bada där.

# we tried to call the reception for few times within two days but no one pick up the phone.
# we found there were many mini insects ON THE BED, I killed a lot.
# housekeeping was not good. It was not a 4 stars standard.
＃bed sheet condition is not good, and they didn't change it after housekeeping.
#breakfast is super Lame.
#sea views was fine, but no able for swimming.

The staff was nice, but we didn't enjoy the stay. There are many other good choices if 4,000/night.

Kleine Bungalowanlage mit gepflegten Pflanzen; Strand steinig- Badeschuhe notwendig; direkt an der vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße, Restaurants außerhalb der Anlage nur über einen abenteuerlichen Weg -- es gibt keinen Fußweg- entlang der Straße zu erreichen, Frühstück ( abgesehen von den auf Wunsch zubereiteten Eierspeisen ) absolut kein 4 Sterne Standard ( wenig Angebot an frischen Obst und Gemüse, Gurkenscheiben total trocken in der Auslage);
Auflagen der Liegen am Strand fleckig
- Matratze war sehr hart- wurde aber auf Ansprache mit einem Topper versorgt, Aufbettung war ein Klappbett ;
- trotz Security hatten wir das Pech , dass unsere direkten Bungalownachbarn an 2 Tagen in Folge in den frühen Morgenstunden stark alkoholisiert nach Hause kamen und dann dort weitertranken, am 2 Tag auch noch in Begleitung einer Dame des horizontalen Gewerbes( welche dann nach 2 h wieder ging) .Keinerlei Konsequenzen seitens der Rezeption ( die beiden Herren würden ja an dem Tag spätnachmittags auschecken). Wir saßen dann ab 5:20 vor unserem Bungalow, da man selbst Husten von nebenan hören kann.
Man benötigt ständig ein Taxi um irgendwo hinzukommen.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit Strandzugang.
Unser Zimmer war immer sehr schön und sauber, das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Zum leckeren Frühstück gibt's auch noch eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf das mehr gartis dazu.

Der Strand ist zwar nicht sehr groß, dafür war er aber immer sauber und mit der Strandbar direkt daneben perfekt zum entspannen.

Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum von Lamai Beach, aber die 15 Minuten Fußweg dorthin waren kein Problem. Lediglich entlang der vielbefahrenen Hauptstraße sollte man als Fußgänger achtsam sein. Oder man nimmt eines der unzähligen Taxis, die an einem vorbei fahren

良くも悪くものんびりした感じでとても4星とはいえない。3星としてなら人に勧められるかな。
お部屋は広くてジャグジー付きベランダで海を見ながらマッタリできる。ハウスキーピングがダメダメ、初日こそ綺麗でターンダウンもあったが、2日目はルームサービスの食器もトイレのゴミもそのまま、ビーチタオルの交換も来ないし、細かいところが行き届いてない。

Hübsche Bungalowanlage

Wir waren im März auf Koh Samui im RBB Resort für 14 Nächte. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bungalows sind gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war gut.
Der Resort eigene Strand ist mit Liegen und Schirmen ausgestattet. Leider lud das Wasser überhaupt nicht zum baden ein. Voll mit Algen und überdimensional großen Seeigeln machten wir einen großen Bogen darum. Der Strand von Lamai Beach ist zu Fuß, an einer viel befahrenen Straße, in ca.20 min zu erreichen. Auf dem Weg dahin kommt man direkt am Großmutter/Großvater Felsen vorbei. Allerdings ist uns auch auf diesem Weg der unendlich viele Müll in den Gassen, Tag für Tag begegnet. Am Strand von Lamai Beach tummeln sich viele herrenlose Hunde, spielen dort und verrichten ihr tägliches Geschäft. Auch dort lag viel Müll herum, angespült über das Meer oder einfach liegengelassen von den Touristen. Weit entfernt von einem Traumstrand!!!
Das Essen, die Massagen etc.sind sehr preiswert und gut. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Urlaub, aber 1x hat gereicht!

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Thomas (ein ausgewanderter Franzose) der das Restaurant leitet, hat uns viele gute Tips gegeben. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Schönes Hotel,jedoch sehr abgelegen.

Hotel sowie Personal haben voll überzeugt. Schöner kleiner privater Strand, super Swimmingpool mit Bar.Umliegende Restaurants sind überteuert und in ca 1 Km Entfernung wobei das gehen dort auf der Straße sehr gefährlich ist.
Was nicht gut war, waren die Laufbänder. Diese sind nur für Walker verwendbar. Ich jogge gerne mit 12 KM/H. Für diese Geschwindigkeit nicht benutzbar. Habe dies am 2 Tag beanstandet und es wurde mir mitgeteilt damit dies umgehend behoben würde, was aber bis zum letzen Tag(10) nicht passiert ist.

nette, saubere nicht zu große Ferienanlage

wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Hotel verbracht, Frühstück war in Ordnung, der Service war sehr gut, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, kleine Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt

Polk war schön und sauber.
