This is a very quiet resort and really makes up for the things it doesn’t offer. Lots of chairs at the pool. There is a nice little bar to get drinks or snacks. The staff is very kind and very helpful. We had an ocean view room and the sunrise were amazing.
Room was dated but clean. I think it was an excellent value for the money. The only drawback is gum is really small but the stairs make up for it workouts wise. Location is excellent. Quiet part of Lamai with a lot of choices of restaurants and market is easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again

We had a fabulous sea view on the top floor and the stairs were worth it. The area wasn’t exactly what we were expecting (less family friendly) but Lamai Buri was quiet and calm. The beach was a few minutes walk and the sea was gorgeous to swim in. Staff always tried to help and housekeeping made a fabulous towel cake for my husband’s birthday.

Over all it was pleasant, but the lack of effort by upper management to grant a second key to keep room refreshing cold was not there. Expect a hot room upon your return from ventures, and about 30 minute cool time to make the AC work double time to try to get it down in temperature. This has nothing to do with the staff, it is an upper management issue where they probably wish to keep the electrical utility bills low, but do not understand that the AC has to do catch up work instead of maintaining a a temperature. Customer experience, and reviews might reflect this, and others might go to a different spot to stay, and apperantly this does not effect their decission. Other hotels I stayed dispense 2 keys, and it is a more comfortable stay, and better experience. Hope management reads, understands, and reacts so others have a more positive experience. Other than the AC issue, all went well, expect to do stairs, no elevator within a mile.... but enjoyable.

Sea view rooms with balcony are very very good - quiet and great views.
Only downside - a bit of distance away from beach and central lamai road bars and restaurants - not too far though: about a ten/fifteen minute walk.
I think I will stay again.

It was a pleasant stay at Lamai Buri resort, we had a bit of an issue at check-in (from finding the main entrance to confirm that we made the booking), but they were solved quickly and afterwards it was very smooth. Room was spacious, a very much like an apartment home! Staffs were very friendly too.

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful!
Pool is really relaxing and chilled.
Location is really good for the walking street and beach. Also very easy to get to main attractions via scooter.
Rooms were clean and tidy. Only downside was, there were quite a lot of mosquitos in the room, which I know can’t really be helped.
Apart from that, our stay was extremely comfortable. It was good value for money and would recommend.

Nice pool, poor breakfast.

We stayed in a garden villa and were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room on arrival and throughout our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable but we asked for a mattress topper the following day and one was provided which was a vast improvement. We found the amount of steps within the resort to be a problem and wouldn't recommend this resort unless you are reasonably fit. To get to the beach or centre of Lamai is only a short walk but the hotel is situated on a steep hill.The pool was lovely but the pool bar was expensive. The breakfast was the worst we have experienced in Thailand and we regretted the fact that we had paid extra in advance for breakfast. If you leave the property by the exit that is sign posted for the beach you will find a few bars serving breakfasts that are much better value. The one that we kept going back to for breakfast or lunch was called the Greenhouse. The food there was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Friendly good value hotel, perfect for relaxation

Our room was great value and what we expected for the price. The maid service could have been better they missed our room out for 3 days on the trot.
Pool and pool bar are excellent, plenty of shade and sun loungers although drinks could be cheaper, cocktails were over three times more expensive than local bars with little difference in quality. The bar staff were brilliant ( Doy and Nan) and so kind and helpful.
The local immediate area was a bit rough but nothing to put us off easily walk to better bars etc and the local girls don't bother you.
There are many places to stay in Lamai but for is there were plenty of positives and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Lamai Buri was a lovely place to stay for us as we did have some difficulty with our daughter and our previous bookings with another hotel.
Hubby & I were able to relax on those last days of our holidays.
The staff were always helpful and lovely-a good sign of great management..we would love to stay there again in the future
We enjoyed the cocktails by the pool and the room upgrade to a villa

Staff were wonderful and welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the food was very good. The wifi was a bit slow, but it didn’t bother me as there’s other things to do in the area, but if your planning on doing work and just relaying on wifi, It would be a bother. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Great clean hotel in quiet area

Had a great 4 night stay and everything was sweet from check in to check out. Was a quiet time so enjoyed sitting by the pool each afternoon in the beautiful and serene environment. Only a short 10 min walk downhill to the main strip of bars and restaurants. Staff were excellent and G the owner is very hands on in running a smooth operation. Would definitely stay there again.

Worth it if you get '60 %' off and 1 night or two.

I booked the sea view room on Expedia with '65%' off. It was close to Lamai Fitness and Muay Thai where I was training.

Check in was quick, easy and friendly. Great desk reception staff - especially as I was checking in around 10pm that night. (I think reception closes at 1pm FYI any late arrivers).

My room was spacious and nicely set up. The sea view was great. Nice size balcony too.

For me, the bed was super hard and the sheets had a musky smell. The pillow case had a big hole and was just a bit tatty.no biggie, but wasn't really comfortable for me - especially if you're training and need some level of comfort. The bed would have done my back in after a while.

I checked out a day early and into another hotel, I didn't use the pool or restaurant but saw people in both looking pretty chill.

I wouldn't recommend this to my friends, but if you're after a stop gap from a late night arrival it's pretty good. The prices in Samui are higher than most places in Thailand, but fit that reason - if you want comfort, double your budget - you'll be glad you did.

Calling the property a resort is a stretch. The pool was good. Breakfast was good. The room wasn't up to par. Bad lighting, nasty bathroom with no enclosed shower. I reserved a taxi for the flight home and confirmed several times, but alas, no taxi was there at time of departure. They admitted screwing up. Koh Samui is unfortunately overrun, crowded and the beaches are just okay. A far cry different from when I visited 15 years ago. Head to Vietnam or Cambodia if you're looking for the idealic beach experience

Hotel area is very clean and nice, beautiful green garden and nice pool.
Room (romantic suite) is very spacious and clean with big balcony and sea view. Interior and furniture is a bit tired.
Hotel locates next to busy street, so it is a bit noisy.7-10 minutes walking to beach and centre of Lamai.
Reception staff is rude, all the others are OK.
Breakfast is enough (nothing special, but everybody should find something).

Not a double bed- two beds pushed together

The pool is very nice and the staff were pretty good. However, we ordered a room with a double bed and just had two single beds pushed together. This was not ideal for my wife and me, and also made the setup in the room awkward. Because of that, the light was right by my head and twice I accidentally turned it on late at night, once in my sleep. My wife's bed was pretty good but my mattress had a big crater in it. The area has some good food, and the beach is about 10 minute walk and is very nice.

We had a food stay. Hotel is nice and near everything - beach, laundry, food, 7-11. You can also rent a bike cheaply. Pool is great. Breakfast delicious. Only downside is that the bed is hard.

Not a 5 star hotel, but certainly 5 star service. The hospitality of the staff was amazing, nothing to much trouble and always service with a smile. The location was excellent, just a 5 minute stroll to the main strip, with many restaurants and shops and beach, but hotel away from the noise. A good selection at breakfast time, with eggs cooked to order. Would deffinateley stay there again. Amazing value for money too.

I have been to Lamai Buri multiple times both as a solo traveler and as a family. Lamai Buri is a wonderful hotel when traveling either way. The staff are friendly and helpful, the Villa I stayed in was nicely set apart from the larger room complexes, and the price is impossible to beat. The pool, complete with bar, may be my favorite feature. I will stay there again.

The staff was nice to show us the room in the basement before assigning it to us. We refused as it is not a nice location, request to avoid ground floor rooms unless it is poolside.
The room assigned was small and didn't have a nice view so we spent most of our time at the pool if it wasn't raining.

The hotel was much nicer than we expected for what they charge. We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff were so helpful and informative.

We opted to stay on Lamui Beach instead of Chewang but after visiting Chewang we wished we had stayed there instead for the shopping and nightlife. However if you would rather get away from the business and want to chill the beach is cleaner and the town is quieter here. A tut tut will take you to Chewang from the side of the road for very little cost despite the 25 minute journey.

We were in off seasone. And it is very quite and there is nothing to do in the evening in lamui beach.

Lovely Hotel

This is the third time we have stayed at this resort, and have extended our stay for a further 6 days. The staff are friendly. The pool is a good size and clean, and gets plenty of sun.

The resort is not on the beach, but only a 5 minute walk away. The same 5 to 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants along the beach road. The only downside is the walk back up the hill to the hotel.

The staff was really nice also. We took the studio room, correct for the price but there is no windows and no air renew (vmc) so the room is a little humid after you take a shower.

The accommodation was quite good, some parts of de accommodation were in need of some maintenance like the shower and the swimming pool.
I would like to add that the staff was great and they went all out to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The day before we left we found out we needed a visa for ouwer flight home, one of the staff members came back 1 ouwer afther we asked for help with someone on the fhone for additional help. They really went far and beyond my and any expectations.

아주 좋았습니다. 무엇보다도 직원분들이 아주아주 친절했어요!! 모든 분들이 다 고급리조트 직원분들 못지않게 친절하여 아주 기분이 좋았습니다.
수영장이 굉장히 현대식이고 관리가 아주 잘되어있어요. 반면에 객실은 조금 낡은 느낌이지만 깨끗했습니다.
해변까지는 조금걸어가야 하는 거리빕니다.

stort kylskåp som vi fyllde med dricka - bara in till skåpet då man blev törstig.
Bara innanför dörrana så var aircondition igång -underbart.
Utsikt ut över havet - värt varje krona.
Mkt service vänlig personal - speciellt i reception och frukost.
Rent och snyggt hotell, 15 min promenad till centrala Lamai och matvagnarna 20 min till söndagens nattmarknad.
Wifi bra,går bra att streama film.
Ligger inte direkt på stranden men klarar ni er utan det så är hotellet värt varje krona och rekommenderas verkligen.

Personnel très accueillant avec toujours le sourire. Endroit très propre, belle piscine bien entretenue avec beaucoup de chaises. Très bons déjeuners et dîners variés. Grande chambre bien insonorisée. Difficile à comprendre que cet hôtel soit évalué à seulement 8. Nous prenons presque toujours des hôtels avec une cote de 9 et plus, on hésitait à prendre celle-ci, mais en 4 mois de voyage, c’est l’hôtel que nous avons préféré. En plus, il est situé pas très loin de la plage et des restos, en même temps loin du bruit. Je la recommande fortement sans hésiter. Le côté négatif, le wi-fi est nul.

Location 12 nuits d un bungalow en contrebas du bâtiment principal vraiment petit a trois et lugubre surclassé en villa 2 chambres tres bien mais aussi lugubre chaise de jardin dans le salon remonté odeur egout sdb enfin dans son jus quoi !!
Par contre ce que je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié , jai voulu enlever juste la derniere nuit (j'ai avancé mon vol d'un jour pour bkk)
Ils n'ont pas voulu me rembouser sur 12 nuits ils auraient pu faire un effort mais bon comme souvent en Thaïlande tant que tu as pas donner d argent tout va bien Après c'est une autre histoire

Situation: l'hôtel se trouve ds le sud de Lamai un quartier pas génial, très touristique et mal développé. La plage est belle mais sale par endroit. Bcp de resto et le soir bar à filles.

Coin piscine très agréable, calme, palmier, couverture wifi. L'eau est un peu verte.

La chambre: 1ere nuit la chambre côté route très passant, bruyante et elle sentais fortement la cigarette alors qu'il y a une interdiction de fumer. Bonne literie. Clim. Sdb vetuste et pas très propre, mauvaise aération.
Les autres nuits nous étions ds un autre bâtiment en contre-bas de la piscine. Calme et chambre plus récente. On pouvait faire courant d'air pour aérer. La literie ok. Le ménage très moyen.

Restaurant: petit dej de l'hôtel 250 thb p.p. - pour ce qu'il y à manger, on se sent volé! Pour le même tarif descendre chez wild tribe un super endroit où vs vs nourrirez bien mieux pr le mm prix. C'est à 2 pas de l'hôtel.

siamo stati in questo hotel per 6 giorni ad Agosto 2017. hotel pulito e silenzioso. Buona la colazione, molto varia per il salato un po' meno per il dolce. Buoni anche i piatti al ristorante nell'ora di pranzo. hotel a 5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di lamai. Abbiamo noleggiato presso di loro il motorino per visitare tutta l'isola. Nel complesso siamo stati bene.

Отель хороший, однако номера типа стандарт выходят на дорогу поэтому очень шумно. Первые два этажа ниже уровня земли. Бассейн хороший, вокруг деревья. Завтраки нормальные, однако в не сезон кормят разнообразно тогда, когда в отеле много людей. До моря пешком минут 10. Рядом есть фемели март.

Superbe endroit à Lamai !!!

Pour notre deuxième séjour au Lamai Buri Resort en 4 ans, nous avons passé 22 belles nuits dans une belle villa. Notre prix incluait le déjeuner, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.
L'entretien de la villa, de la piscine, de l'ensemble du Resort est impeccable.
Nous recommandons donc à tous nos parents et amis cet établissement et bien entendu, si nous revenons à Koh Samui, il est certain que c'est ici que nous reviendrons.

Bel accueil et belle ambiance calme et sereine

Le personnel est très chaleureux, très agréable et très souriant, que ce soit au restaurant , à l hôtel où à l accueil..Les chambres avec vue sur mer sont très belle , mélange typique et moderne, très propre..
Un lieu beau, calme et bien situé a deux minutes du coeur du village..Nous sommes venus en voyage de noce et nous reviendrons dans 5 ans avec nos 3 enfants dans ce bel hotel

Zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegenes Hotel

Das Hotel in Lamai ist ideal gelegen - nicht direkt am Strand, aber alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Gebäude ist in einen schönen Garten eingefügt, postiv zu erwähnen sind hier der großzügige Pool und die Poolbar. Von den Zimmern in der unteren Etage hat man direkten Zugang zu Pool und Garten. Das Frühstück in Buffetform wir im Gartenrestaurant serviert, nicht sehr üppig, aber alles wird frisch zubereitet und nachgefüllt. Darüber hinaus bietet das Hotel einen zuverlässigen Motorradverleih zu ortsüblichen Preisen. Motorräder (Roller mit 125 ccm und Automatikgetriebe) sind unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Hôtel un peu à l'écart du centre ville, ce qui est parfait pour ne pas être déranger par Les nuisances. Chambre vue mer De bonne qualité, literie,..... insonorisation à revoir. Le centre ville et la mer à moins de 5 minutes à pied.

Mkt bra och prisvärt hotell

Mkt bra och prisvärt hotell i det lite lugnare lamai. Nära till strand och lamais strandgata (5-min) där du hittar allt från restauranger till enklare kläd-/souvenirbutiker.

Själva hotellet som sagt prisvärd, genomgående fräscht med bra pool. Kunnig, trevlig och snälla medarbetare som mer än gärna hjälper till. Bra frukost.Hotellet känns också väldigt familjärt iom att det inte är ett hotell av dom stora kedjorna

Gutes Hotelzimmer mit Nähe zum Lamai Strand. Zimmer zur Meerseite nehmen, zur Straße hin sehr laut. Hotelzimmer wurde vor kurzer Zeit renoviert.

Schnäppchen-Hotel mit schöner Pool-Anlage

Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis stimmen bei diesem Hotel ausgezeichnet. Die Anlage ist Verkehrstechnisch wie auch für den abendlichen Ausgang super gelegen. Man ist zu Fuss in ca. 3 Minuten im Zentrum von Lamai wo sich gute Restaurants und verschiedenen andere Lokale befinden. Auch der Strand ist in der gleichen Zeit zu erreichen.
Auch die eigene Poolanlage lädt zum Verweilen ein, da die Pool-Bar verschiedene feine Cocktails, Drinks und Speisen anbietet.

Personnel charmant et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos demandes. Hôtel agréable, bon petit déjeuner varié sous forme de buffet. La piscine est très sympa et propre. La literie par contre est très dure.

Bella la piscina e colazione per tutti i gusti.

Très bon petit déjeuner . Vue mer très belle avec la suite romantique. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. Très bien situé à 5 minutes de la plage et à 10 minutes du marché de nuit. C est juste dommage que l on ai pas eu une des 2 chambres en suites romantiques tout le séjour comme c était prévu car ils ont oublié de nous réserver la 2ème ( ils n ont pas tourné la 2eme page de la feuille de hotels ) , nous l avons eu à la fin 3 nuits sur les 8 de prévues .

Struttura ben curata per essere un 3* thailandese. Posizione comoda perchè lontano dalla confusione dei locali, ma a 10 minuti di camminata dalla principale via di Lamay. Hotel ubicato sulla strada principale interna dell'isola quindi con un po' di rumore a volte proveniente da scooter e auto transitanti sulla strada. Consiglio le suite al piano 4: con pochi euro in più si ha anche una zona giorno con divano da utilizzare come deposito che rende quindi la zona notte più utilizzabile. Comunque molto spazio a disposizione e pulizia nella norma. L'unico appunto che mi sento di fare è alla colazione che è ridotta ai minimi termini: 2 tipi di succhi di frutta, caffè, the, latte, pane, burro e 2 marmellate, ottima frutta fresca (ma messa a disposizione con parsimonia) e le solite uova e bacon tanto amate dal turismo nordico. In una settimana non ho mai visto yogurt e qualche pasterella dolce che avrei tanto gradito. Ma nel complesso è una struttura in cui ritornerei.

Lækkert og flot rent hotel.
Søde og hjælpsomme personale.

Vi bookede forkert værelse type 2 gange
Men personalet gav os den ene opgradering gratis og anden gang hvor min kæreste også havde bookede forkert værelses type, kunne vi alligevel blive boende mod at betale et lille gebyr :))
Det er et dejligt hotel, men husk at reserverer det rigtige værelses type hvis du vil have balkon og havudsigt.
Det koster selvfølgelig lidt mere end et standard værelse.

Men pengene er givet godt ud :)

Отличный отдых за совсем небольшие деньги

Отель хороший, завтраки отличные, очень хороший бассейн, номера лучше брать Делюкс, в номере есть все необходимое (сейф, телевизор с плоским экраном - 2 российских канала, пляжные полотенца, фен, кондиционер, холодильник). На территории всего отеля отличный Wi-Fi. Очень отзывчивый и дружелюбный персонал. Также брали от отеля байк и авто на прокат (цены как на улице). Есть бесплатная парковка.

Gutes Hotel mit tollem Service

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im obersten Stock mit super Meerblick.Leider war es durch die Straße gerade in der oberen Etage sehr laut .Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
Die Sauberkeit war überall excellent. Das Frühstück hat uns gut gefalen, der Frühstücksraum war gemütlich und das Angebot an Speisen reichlich. Es wurde immer nach gereicht.
