Many different room types from Standard to pool villas with some premium rooms having ocean views.
I have now stayed 3 times twice in Superior rooms and once in a standard room and to be honest there’s not a lot of difference and both have shower over bath and these aren’t the easiest tubs to get in or out and water normally floods the bathroom due to a shelf around the edge of the bath but I use a sponge to block the water, my room was kept spotlessly clean with clean fresh towels daily and fresh clean sheets a few times a week and yes the rooms are looking tired and nothing updated for a long time and are in need of updating (especially the bathrooms) all staff are happy and always smiling
The pool and beach are fabulous with sun beds and umbrellas but be prepared for the early morning rush to bag a bed, normally people are poolside and beach around 7am to bag a bed and then off they go and don’t come back for hours, this is the only negative

This was our second stay at this property. Obviously the location is still the same. Fabulous!! Right on the beach and center town. But something was off with the water from pipes. It tasted salty. So when brushing teeth it was horrible. Showers left us feeling unclean. We didn’t think that was the hotel’s fault. But in the end it soured our stay.

The grounds and pools at the weekender were excellent, but can’t say that about the room,smelt fusty and the shower airea badly needs upgrading , old fashioned and looked grotty , and trying to shower and not let water go everywhere was a task in itself . The shower is over a bath with a curtain but water ran around the back of the bath and flooded the floor . Towels were used everyday to mop up the floor . Needs upgraded

One complaint that I don’t think they can control is the solicitors in the beach. They are relentless, that got old quick!

The room was ok but I asked for a double bed and what I got was two single beds pushed together which was a waste of time as they would move apart during the night
I stayed in a standard room and the bathroom had a bath/shower combination a separate shower would have been ideal for me
The pool area is one of the best points about the hotel
As for breakfast I didn’t have any so can’t comment on that
Would I stay again probably yes, might change to a different room and see what I get

Very good location right on the beach within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The food at the beach restaurant was absolutely delicious. The hotel itself is quite dated and really needs repairs. Our room was decent except our bathroom was not great. The shower curtain was ripping off the bar and the shower bar almost fell on us multiple times. Plus when you showered the water splashed all over the floor so we constantly had towels down. It worked for a short 2 night stay but definitely need to renovate the rooms.

Booked standard room, too noisy between neighbors and air con that rattled. Decided to upgrade to villa, which was less in need of a complete remodel but not worth the price. Huge bathtub you couldn't use because water pressure was too slow to fill, even after half an hour. I won't return, there's too many better choices

I had to place two towels on both ends of the bath tub to prevent water overflowing onto the floors each time we showered!

Really like this hotel but definitely needs some updating in the older part of the hotel, which is where we were. Leo did tell us they are doing some major renovations this coming May. But the hotel is very clean & lovely staff, would definitely stay there again. The pool is great.

The only downsides for me were that the bar and restaurant were very expensive compared to the surrounding hotels and were therefore empty, also the bathrooms are ready for a makeover, but neither would deter me from staying there again

Nice little place and was very affordable. My girlfriend is very high maintenance and she even liked the room lol. She’s a brat.

Anyways, the staff was super friendly and all the locals on this part of the island were fantastic. We loved our stay so much we even stayed an extra night (they gave us a discounted rate at the front desk)

Only downside is there was some construction around the pool area, so it was kind of loud. We ended up staying at a pool down the street on our last day.

There are many different levels of rooms at this property. After looking at the online photos, we were a little disappointed when we walked into our dark, mostly kinda clean, room overlooking the Main Street. It was pretty cheap, so it made sense afterwards. We really did spend much time in there and the double patio actually made it pretty quiet. We spent most of the time at the beach which they did rake every day and I doubt you’ll find any property on Lamai Beach that is perfectly free of beach garbage. The hotel staff was wonderful and really helped us with a travel problem we were having.

While the hotel is in a good location and could be amazing but the value for money is not there. The standard rooms while affordable are extraordinarily dated, nowhere near the price being charged, they do have nicer bungalows and premium rooms but at a huge premium. The pool area is nice, the dining area and bar however was filled with mosquito's. My room was not properly cleaned some days, furniture had been moved to clean behind and not replaced, used towels left in the room despite being left on the floor to be picked up, balcony was not mopped etc etc

Loved the location near everything in Lamai - beach, markets, restaurants, etc. The room has seen better days but it was clean, spacious and had good aircon, so it met my requirements. Also, despite the central location, I was surprised that it was still quiet enough to feel away from it all. Would stay here again mostly for the good location in Lamai.

We had problems checking in, the woman in reception said we had a reservation in another hotel. I had to show her the confirmation email twice. Then when we had to print our boarding passes for the flight, the same woman was skyping on her phone while “helping” me. Of course I had to email the passes twice because she said it wasn’t working...
Rooms are outdated, wifi is horrible all over the resort.
The only good part is the pool at the beachfront. Take advantage of the happy hour at the bar, since the normal price for a beer is 140thb!! Expensive even for being on the beach.

The location is great everything you need is right outside the hotel. If I stayed here again I would not get a standard room I would get superior or pook side they are alot nicer

The room I had (standard room) was very spacious but a bit dated,unfortunately I asked if I could have the use of a iron and iron board but was told that they didn’t have any plus there were no hand towels in the bathroom and I was told they don’t supply them in the the room I booked but when I asked for some they kindly provided them

Nice hotel with the beach at the doorstep

A nice hotel facing the beach and at the other side of the hotel, it is shopping street.
Breakfast was good and simple and it faced the beach. You could hear the sea waves and see it. Walking down some steps from breakfast place is the beach area where the sun chairs are.
A 5 mins walk from hotel, you can find eateries, massage places and directly opposite the hotel is a 7-11 store. Very convenient location.
The hotel staff was very friendly, greeting us each time they saw us with a big smile.
Only con is our toilet door which was spoilt and it cannot be closed but we can live with that since we were always outside.
Highly recommended place!

I would save just the pool.

Of this property just pool and position are good. Standard room and breakfast were very very basic and poor. Room was very dirty, hotel staff unfriendly and not prepared.
They change you beach towel only one time a day in the room, it was very annoying and uncomfortable.

The room was nice and spacious but the shower flooded the bathroom every single time we turned it on and we were unable to connect to our wifi the entire time as it said someone else was still logged into it. The pool and beach area is very beautiful and relaxing. The hotel itself is definitely not for a partying visit as it is a bit of a quiet crowd, but there is nightlife around if you want to explore that.

The room we stayed in was a superior room - very good size room, clean and comfy! Our room had a balcony and decent size bathroom. We didn't like how the bathtub was higher up - not what we're used to in the states, but it didn't ruin the stay one bit.

The infinity pools were big - had 3 separate pools. The best time to take a picture of it is in the morning.

The beach was within eye sight from our balcony and less than couple minutes walk. Massages available by the pools or beach - your choice!

Morning breakfasts were the best here with calm music playing and sounds of the waves. The atmosphere of it makes everything so much better. Truly a paradise location in an area where you're close to many things to do and see.

The staff were great! They helped arranged one of our excursions and a taxi ride on our last day of stay.

The hotel is close by to many things. You can easily walk to bars, shops, etc and back - very convenient!

Overall good but lots off building work going on around the grounds didn't seem finished. A bit tatty so needs some general maintenance but that seems to be very common in Thailand . The pools were beautiful but needed attention to cleanliness especially the smaller ones. Would definitely go back, breakfast was excellent so was the Thai massage and the hotel position, just a pity it is in a tacky area.

The best place to stay in the heart of Lamai Beach

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the weekender resort, we didn't want to leave! The rooms were very clean and comforting. After spending the day at the beach, it's really nice to retreat back to their very cozy rooms. Buffet Breakfast is included here and they have a variety of foods to choose from. We looked forward to eating here every morning! The service was absolutely fantastic as well. From the very helpful front desk staff, to the wait staff and cleaning staff. Everyone went out of their way to make your stay here a pleasant one. There are beach chairs available and beach towels available everyday! This really is a bonus. They even give you a beach bag to use in every room! The beach chairs are first come, first served so be diligent on waking up in the morning, as they do fill up fast. The hotel is located in the heart of the strip on Lamai beach, close to many attractions and excellent restaurants. You can also rent scooters here for $250 baht per day, which is roughly $6 US. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!!! Well done weekender!!!

We stayed in the weekender resort for a week and we were so surprised by what we found! We had a standard room on the ground floor which was a bit annoying as there was a gap in the door and you could never have the curtains open due to people walking by, but the room was beautiful and so cheap, we were given fresh sheets and towels every morning and the staff were extremely friendly! We were so surprised by the pools, yes not one pool but three! They overlooked the beach and they were fantastic with sun loungers and umbrellas everywhere, and you could walk down the beach and find amazing restaurants and bars or dine in at the hotel restaurant however it was very overpriced. We did not include breakfast in our room, and when we enquired about how much it would be to purchase breakfast they started at one price down at the restaurant and then increased the price by 100THB per person by the time we had got to reception to purchase a ticket. It ended up being heaps cheaper going to nearby restaurants and getting big brekkies for 200THB. The only downside to this hotel is that they only provide one person to use the wifi at a time per room, and it is expensive to purchase another wifi and impossible to log out of the wifi. Apart from that the hotel was incredible and we loved our stay and there were heaps of things to do around, definitely go jetskiing and ask about all the tours and go for a wander down the street its fantastic!

I visited during early November, which is off peak. It was just enough people and quiet at the same time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, and the location is 200M from Lamai city center. Nice, would recommend to singles, couples, or families.

Nice staff but a lot of room problems

The hotel is in a central location on Lamai beach, though Lamai is very quiet during the day and only comes alive after dark. From the road the hotel looks modern, but the Thai Villa room (highest price room) was every poor quality. TV is advertised as 32 inch flat screen but is a small 20 years old unit. Bathroom is very old and shower taps were coming away from the wall. No provision for Mosquitos - no spray or other repellant available. Room furnishings outdated.

Location quiet and pleasant really lovely beach and once again Thai people absolutely beautiful the hotel a little run down nice buffet breakfast hotel staff wonderful and very helpful

we where woken up at 5.30 am by somebody opening our door. same scene again at 7.20. Not very nice at all.

A very quirky, lovely & quiet place, resturant food itself was pretty basic, but overall a good place to stay. Just have to bring mossie spray etc
