Have stayed there before for a works event, I felt the hotel has gone down hill, bit scruffy in places, bathroom floor dirty, they didn't offer room service the night I stayed, no changing of beds if you are staying less than 3 nights (although you could request), I did find this odd. Very noisey room with people walking down the corridor and banging doors at night - sadly I wouldn't be back.

Clean and spacious room (excellent work by Marilena). Tea, coffee, and biscuits were provided. The pool was a decent size and very clean, with both a steam room and a sauna available. We booked a very affordable half-board option with breakfast and dinner included. Dinner was exceptional, both in presentation and taste. The breakfast hall was large but quite busy, so we had to queue for a bit; however, it was well stocked, and staff replaced finished items quickly. Vegetarian sausages were also available.

I want to thank all the staff for a wonderful service with a smile . Couldn’t fault them at all . Both during check in, check out and throughout our stay. One thing I could say about our bedroom is, although the bathroom can do with some makeover our bedroom was very clean, heating system was hot which we appreciated. 🤗. It can be adjusted accordingly and there is also fan in the room. During breakfast, we were shown around the restaurant area by a very courteous staff thank you . The breakfast itself, sausages let it down slightly but everything else was perfect. During our stay , we used the spa facilities. Which is located outside the hotel building just a few steps away . Well equipped gym, and we enjoyed using the sauna and steam room throughout our stay. Such a beautiful hotel with many areas to sit and relax. We will definitely visit again when the weather is nice in order to walk around the beautiful grounds.

We have stayed at Staverton Park Hotel on several occasions. We have always found the front desk staff extremely helpful. The room is always clean and comfortable. We love the buffet style breakfast as we were able to have exactly what we wanted. Definitely would recommend.

When I arrived, the staff greeted me pleasantly. When I first went to my room, I was very happy. The room was clean and the necessary amenities were provided. The cleaners did a fantastic job on day three of my stay. In terms of my room, the negatives were an extremely loud extractor fan and the door itself let a lot of external sound in.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and the waitresses I had were fantastic. Unfortunately, the second night there was an issue. Although I paid for half-board in advance, I went to the restaurant and was informed that there was no table for me. As such, I went to the bar but I had to wait over two hours. Due to the long wait, I ordered dinner to my room and was able to eat this around 8.30 which was much later than I anticipated. I was expecting a free meal for this issue but was given a £5 reimbursement for the cost of room service. This was a little frustrating but I did not push.
The leisure facilities were lovely, although the jacuzzi was not working, which was a shame. The grounds are beautiful and are perfect for a walk, even if you don't play golf!
I will be definitely returning in the future.

On arrival the reception staff were excellent and this continued throughout our stay. Our room was clean and had the desired facilities. The bed was comfortable. The leisure/health centre was excellent and the pool warm. During our stay the jacuzi was out of order, but I feel sure it would be in service again soon. The evening meal was very good as was the service. Breakfast let it down a bit with some of the items overcooked and the bacon a bit fatty. Overall a great stay and would go again.

Overall we had a great stay, however this is our third visit and we found our room was quite tired and needing repair in several places, our hair dryer almost caught fire and we were given misleading information about booking the restaurant. We will still return but this wasn’t the best stay we had had there

Well to begin we paid the same anount as our family and they got bigger rooms. Apparently the two superior rooms are different. Secondly i got served food at the restaurant 20 minutes after my family recieved their food. Thirdly I got over charged for my dinner and had to go back to get a refund. Lastly we opened our door to get some fresh air and huge dog appeared trying to get in. Lucky we managed to close the door as I was worried for my child’s life.

Stayed for 2 nights and I guess the hotel was super busy as the room we had clearly hadn't have been used for a while with the amount of cobwebs and spiders in it. Wasnt very clean and the walls had marks all over them. For what you would think is a upper class, posh golf club from the amount of emails I had stating this I was disappointed. Room window is locked so you cant get any fresh air, no air con just a desk fan.
Check in upon arrival was good, bed was comfy and decent breakfast otherwise. Not somewhere I would return but served our needs in the end.

This Hotel is a little gem. Only stayed one night, made to feel welcome all the time I was there. Room excellent clean and tidy, food excellent, facilities pool etc excellent, grounds very well kept.

60th Birthday stay
We took my husband here for a surprise for his 60th. We booked 3 rooms and asked for them all to be close to each other. Also booked him a round of golf. Check in was smooth despite there being a queue and a bit of a wait. They kindly took his cake and put it in a fridge for us. 2 rooms ended up being close together but unfortunately the 3rd was on a different floor. There were no beds out for the children but reception quickly rectified that. Also a welcome gift that I added on as an extra was not put in the room until after we checked in which I found a little odd as expected it to be waiting for him. Other than that we had a lovely stay. We went swimming with the kids, ate in the bar as we had the dog but food was good albeit a little limited. Room had a lovely view of the course. We had a lovely time and would happily return. My husband is a simple man who likes what he likes and said this was perfect for him. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel but despite it being so busy the staff were friendly and helpful. Also for the dog, a little blanket is provided in the room for them.

The bathroom in room needs upgrade and general areas in hotel need serious upgrade (apart from reception) e.g carpets on corridors and stairs in bad state. But overall would stay again for money I paid. Buffet dinner in restaurant was better than expected and good choice for breakfast too
