There is a notice saying use left hand shower due to poor water pressure.
The left hand shower was ridiculousSo small and blocked. Little water coming out.

Good well priced hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and the beds are super kind size and extremely comfortable. Shower room compact but fine take your own toiletries as 3 in one soap fixed on wall and one of ours didn’t work. No charger sockets in rooms. Breakfast was very good £14.95 for full or £8.95 for continental serve yourself. I wish ours hadn’t been spoilt by the waiter cleaning the table next to us for what seemed like the whole breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Large bar downstairs

Room was clean but basic. Quote stuffy with overstuffed pillows. Walls a bit thin as there was a lot of sound spilling in from the next room. As they were listening to the shipping forecast I am guessing this was more to do with the walls than guests partying.

I thought reception were welcoming and the facilities were nice however the room was disappointing and uncomfortable the bedroom had two singles pushed together with no proper mattress topper making a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Another bedroom next to our room had a door that slammed continuously ( no soft closer) until the early hours of the morning as there was an event on which meant some guests were In and out of there rooms which felt like all night. The noisy door disturbed our sleep all night so I left the hotel feeling exhausted which ruined our stay and the day we had planned after we left.

The room was awful, it felt dirty the carpet was all damaged and unclean, the walls were covered in dirt, the bathroom felt like I was in a hostel. Not a pleasant stay at all

Room was abit run down

The front entrance and bar area looks stunning, clean, tidy and modern. Our room not to much. Carpet was tatty and torn leaving the carpet gripper exposed which i caught my foot on.
Bathroom was a little dated, and furniture is mismatched and some of it was plastic Superking bed was just 2 beds put together
Room just didnt seem to match the look of the main area.

Just Average.

Room was a little tired looking. Side tables were scratched with paint removed. No light switches by the bedside meaning 4 lamps and the entrance porch light had to be switched individually. Kettle was full size and very awkwardly fit under the sink tap. Shower pressure was very low. Internet WiFi signal extremely weak. Maybe this was specific to the room. Just an average stay nothing special.

Hotel appears nice on arrival. However check-in felt very rushed; literally handed us the key and told us room number vaguely pointing in the direction of the rooms.
Decor felt low quality and painting/decorating was obviously done on a budget judging by the lack of tidy beds around door frames and sockets.
Rooms were clean enough, but only one pillow for each bed (hunted the room but no others could be found) and the beds were seriously firm (like sleeping on a board)
Only had an overnight stop but wouldn’t ever plan on going back. Felt very disappointed.

Arrived and no where to park due to prom night being held there.
Checked into room which paid for double bed and it was just two single beds put together, room was below standard very basic with no air con or fans in the room.
Restaurant overpriced for the food standard.
The Prom didnt finish till gone 11.30pm so just very loud in the rooms.
When checking out was not asked how my stay was otherwise would have mentioned all the above but the two people.at reception to busy chattong to each other.. would not stay here again

Food over all wasn’t great and overpriced for what it was. Room was clean for the most part. Found hair on the bed. Towel rail in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and wiring was well dodgy. Panel at the bottom of the shower was very loose. Water pressure in the hot tap was non existent. Tables in the bar were sticky. Very hot hotel all over. Turned the heating off in room for it to make a most loud and annoying siren like noise when it tried to turn on. This happened three times one night and most guests experienced this. Very very loud. No hooks to hang towels and clothes in the bathroom. Lighting not great and in one of the rooms there was just a light as you came into the room. Reception staff were great as was Ian.

Sleep disturbed by noise!

The hotel was good, room clean and bed comfortable. However the stay was ruined due to being in a room with a locked door connecting to the next room. As a result of this there was no sound protection from the other room. I was woken up at around 5:30 am as occupant of the room next door was using the hair dryer and the noise was very loud as if in the same room. Ruined my sleep and ruined my overall experience at the hotel.

Only stayed one night, comfortable and pleasant staff bar meals should be longer as
I didn’t want to go in restaurant dining.
Bar meals stopped at 5pm.
Which for me is an issue as I just wanted maybe soup and a sandwich. Instead had to have a restaurant menu meal in bar area.

Otherwise excellent service and food but need to cater for customers who are on quick visit overnight. Eat , drink and bed

This hotel accommodated a large group of people who came to the area for a horse event. A couple of us enjoyed a very generously portioned lunch, and a group of 15 had dinner. All the food was extremely good and I will definitely be staying again. The mattress was a little on the hard side for me but as this is a very personal issue, it is not significant and would not affect my review.

We arrived to find a wedding in full swing and were dreading the noise but the room was very quiet.
One little grumble is that we arrived after dark and missed the turning off the dual carriage way and to do a 4 mile return trip to get back. The entrance is signed but could do with showing how far (ironic for a golf hotel!) as it is a T junction off the carriage way and not well lit

Lovely hotel, lovely grounds. Room was a little tired but spotlessly clean and roomy. The shower was our only slight disappointment. Out of the lots of holes the shower head has, only about 15 of them would give us water. Besides that, we had a great stay, all the staff were lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was superb.

Having stayed in several hotels in this location, The Draycote Hotel is definitely the best from all aspects.

We used it as an overnight stop after a birthday meal elsewhere.

It had a intimate hospitality area where we could gather as a party of 9 adults.

Attended a special birthday celebration lunch - food, service excellent. Decided to better enjoy the occasion by staying overnight (as long travel time home) - good decision. Room and bathroom standard very good, bed very comfy and breakfast tasty. Would recommend.

Room we were in had no phone reception or able to get 4g data, there is a free wifi connection, but had to keep making trips towards reception to connect and it would eventually disconnect.
Had sausage and mash as one meal, sausages tasted weird, mash not pleasant, so 1/2 was left and gravy very watery.
I had curry of the day, it was tasty, but no more than a good microwave meal.
Plus side, the staff were extremely accomodating in the restaurant area.
