Overall for the money we paid it was fine. The hotel rooms could certain do with a refresh, but dated and paint was peeling etc (room 115). Check if there’s a game on, I didn’t and so couldn’t access the car park, wasn’t made aware that would be the case. Wee bit of a walk to the beach and the trams but definitely manageable so I’d say overall a good location.

Staying for a family trip for my sons birthday trip it might have been nice to have been told that Christmas parties were happening in the venue until midnight. This might have made us reconsider staying elsewhere but at least we might have got some sleep.
Whilst midnight is not the latest time to have music on its then everybody going to bed, banging doors, shouting in the corridors for a good hour after.

I love this hotel however did have a minor issue around late checkout on this occasion witch wasn't delt with in a good manner. However lula who checked me in was awesome and a great front of house for the hotel.. if i can ask 1 thing. Take away the pitch view and there’s really nothing special about this hotel, and I definitely wouldn’t say it’s 4 star. The shower screen wasn’t sealed properly so the bathroom floor flooded every time we had a shower, air con didn’t work properly and the bed was very uncomfortable. All in all I’d say it’s very average and wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel room was big, very clean and comfortable except the tea tray had a lot of long blonde hairs on it and window wouldn't open. The reception staff and restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. But we had to ask at reception 3 times to come up and remove hairs and tray . They didn't come up until afternoon of 2nd day while we were out. This is totally unacceptable. A large hotel should have staff to deal with problems after housekeeping leave at 4pm. Breakfast was adequate but horrible sausages and not much choice. Despite the lovely room we wouldn't stay again due to lack of service

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Offered local knowledge of the area and made us feel at ease with the parking and our dogs staying over.
Restaurant also very nice. Great views of the football pitch and even Blackpool tower just above the stadium. Breakfast came highly recommended and didnt disappoint. Great location for a dog friendly stay with a park nearby that includes a secure section to allow the dogs off lead for 10 minutes.
Housekeeping also did a fantastic job. Place was spotless and smelt lovely too. We were also able to arrange a timeframe for Housekeeping to arrive to ensure we were out with the dogs when they arrived.

Dated throughout ,room door didn’t close without force, bathroom door handle broken, room window latch wouldn’t shut, towel holder hanging off, no shower gel, sofa bed bent in middle, asked for towels in the am and had to phone and go to reception in the evening. Bar food nice with good size portions and staff in bar friendly and helpful.

It was a bit of a walk/bus ride from the train station and located in an area that was a bit run-down, but the property itself was well-maintained, clean, safe and comfortable. We would return. Was a special treat for my two grandsons one if whom was 5 years old today...we had a lovely overnight and the boys were drlighted to be able to view the pitch from their room....i do think charging £10 to park the car overnight was a bit much considering the cost of 2 rooms

We booked this hotel as a stop off. It is clean & comfortable. The rooms are big and of high spec. There's tea, coffee & biscuits plus toiletries in the bathroom. The bathrooms also have a bath. The hotel is a short walk to the seafront. We had Refreshments which were good at The Corner Flag restaurant which is situated on the second floor.

Unique place to stay when your room looks out over the football pitch and stadium. Wouldn’t say it’s a 4* hotel though. Bed was very hard, and the sofa bed for the kids was like them sleeping on springs and they both complained of bad backs the next morning. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. My room was ok, it’s needing a freshing up though, more two star than four.
In general good but needs freshening up.
The corner flag bar and restaurant was the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was in here which was ok.
I didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities which I was hoping to.
Overall too expensive for what you get. I will be trying somewhere else in January.

Most staff were friendly although the receptionist on shift Sat morning found it hard to speak in a friendly manner. She made it hard for the guests who were asking questions. We were sitting in reception for an hour waiting for the room as it was really busy in the bar due to the match so watched a few guests asking for advice etc - I thought she was very lucky that most of the guests didn’t react to her tone etc.

After booking for Bed and Breakfast, was disappointed to have to pay £3.99p for porridge. Surely porridge is part of the breakfast I had already paid for. Have never had to pay for same in any other hotel we have stayed at. My Wife does not eat fried food so porridge was not an extra for Her. Must say your Staff were polite and friendly without exception.

We stayed at the football club 2 adults 2 children, on arrival we definitely wasn’t greeted with a smile. Staff gave the impression they do not enjoy their job.

Very disappointed no daily housekeeping, the shower leaked, water did not drain away, no fridge in room, restaurant tables sticky and unclean. The staff were very polite, efficient and a pleasure to talk to. However it unlikely we will stay there again.

We went on a couples weekend away, it was a lovely hotel. We had a pitch view and it was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be coming back. We also will be recommending to our family and friends.
