A great hotel and lovely room. The free sweets bar was also a welcome surprise too! The morning breakfast in café football was also excellent with a great menu choice, fast service and great food. I was attending a conference at Old Trafford so the location was perfect for me. There was also a very nice Quay area just over the bridge with a great choice of restaurants for evening meal selection. Recommended, I would stay here again in the future

Arrived at the hotel, parking was easy and close by. Very short walk to the hotel. I had decided to enhance my stay after receiving an email from the hotel-£30 for upgrade to stadium view(twin room) which I selected and also booked a table for dinner at 8pm. Upon arriving staff were friendly, reception area did smell of cannabis but must have been from a guests clothing which can’t be helped by the staff. Noticed this several times around lifts and reception. Arrived in room to discover no stadium view and also beds set up as doubles. Checked the link and the upgrade and table reservation were pending plus the price said £60 so I cancelled the enhancement. Returned to reception and got new room which was correctly set up as a double. As I made my way to the elevator I heard another receptionist offer someone a stadium view for £15. Overall the hotel was fine, room was clean and very close to the stadium and as we were there for a tour it was an ideal location. The food in the Barr was good and staff there were also friendly.

The hotel was located right next to Old Trafford which is the coolest part about it. The car park is several minutes away by car (just a few minute walk) which wasn't the most convenient. The room was fine, the shower drainage was very poor so had to take very quick showers so you weren't stood in 4 inches of water.

The room was great, free snacks in the mini bar, hotel was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in! We went over game day weekend so was very busy, probably would have wished the parking was a little more affordable if you’re staying at the hotel but it wasn’t awful.

Quirky football themed hotel with great staff. The free sweetie and Vimto mini-bar was a nice touch and if you're a football fan, you'll love the location. Room service menu was excellent. Our only issue was that a standard twin room felt small and hence seemed expensive for what it was but the rest of the facilities and the excellent staff compensated for it.

Booked 3 rooms for a 1 night stay while attending the cricket test match. Only a short walk to the stadium which was good. Hotel itself is just ok. My only real negative feedback was that the bedding had a horrible musty/damp smell which i did not discover until crawling into bed at 1am. Its a smell i really cant stand! Reported to reception in the morning as feedback rather than a complaint. If i had been staying longer i woukd have wanted the bedding changed.

Lovely hotel, aircon a big problem
Hotel is lovely and modern the extra touches are fab. We had an issue with our aircon and it happened to be on the hottest days of the year which really infected our stay. The room became so hot we struggled to sleep. When we called reception we were told it was an issue and would be fixed soon. When we left unfortunately it was still a problem which is a shame.

An unexpected joy or a stay, despite the Manchester United link. Close to the tram line, with easy access to town, just over the water from media city, this is well placed and easily accessible.

I was not looking forwards to my stay. My health has taken a turn for the worst. I wanted to go to Old Trafford one last time. The staff were incredible. They made it a fantastic weekend. I even got a birthday card, which for someone my age was a good laugh 😃. A nice touch. The walk to my seat in Old Trafford was just minutes away and even though my legs done skip along 😂 like they used to do i managed to be in my seat in plenty of time. Its been the same seat for 25 years. As Arnie said \"i'll be back\".
