It’s clean but very very dated and could do with quite an extensive renovation.

Soundproofing is quite poor, so noises from outside, other rooms and corridors comes straight into the room

room and especially bathroom were dated and in need of refurbishment.
cupboard doors wouldn't keep closed so fridge light was on all night, which acted as a night light so wasn't too bad in the end.
big positive was the shower, red hot and loads of water pressure :)
the Bar area was badly tended, i waited around for 10 minutes to get served but nobody arrived so we caught the tram into town instead of enjoying the sun on the Salford Riviera

Value for money, but definitely not the 4 stars they claim. Everything works, no Aircon, but fan in the room, which made it comfortable enough, room definitely in need of a refurb, however wasn't expensive and close to tram stop to get in and out of town, free parking, and seems to have plans in place for the refurb, which will no doubt double the rate.

The staff were very helpful and friendly - they made us feel welcome from the first moment we walked through the door. The hotel was clean and tidy and although we didn’t use the bar, it was very full when we were there…which suggests to me that it’s very popular. The breakfast was very good

While I will admit the hotel needs a refresh, it is a bit dated and needs more sockets near the bed for modern technology. However, we found the hotel clean, with enough towels and pillows, and the bed comfortable. As a wheelchair user, I found the room had enough clearance to move around with ease. The staff was helpful, and being able to park for free for nearly three days was a bonus.

There is a small co-op next door if you need to buy any supplies, etc., while the tram is just across the road and takes about 15 minutes to reach central Manchester.
If you visit on the weekend, you can get a tram travel card for £6.80, which is valid to travel in Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 from 1800 hrs on a Friday night until Sunday morning.

Clean room, large bed and friendly staff. No pool etc but we didn’t need this. Excellent for transfers into city by Uber , got one in 2 mins every time .£6 into city centre.

We travelled from Canada for 2 nights, As you can imagine with jet lag. unfortunately for our group of 4 there was a rave concert on near town and we had many guests on our 4th floor, right next door and opposite rooms. Noise, music, foul and abusive language went on until early hours 5.00am.
When we checked out manager knew nothing, morning staff who had to leave my room to report noise, did not inform manager., who was quite surprised and shocked.

Very dated paid a very high rate for the hotel, expected a better quality of hotel for this price point. Room was dusty and I had to take antihistamines because of how dusty it was. Cobwebs on the ceiling, bathroom was dated the hot water tap was so hot it burt my hands. A very bad experience and no acknowledgment of my email to complain

Clean room but bathroom needs some refurbishment, especially around the toilet. Bed was really comfortable, which was surprising as it looked exactly the same type of bed I slept in at The Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle a few weeks ago which was so uncomfortable I ached all over when I got up. I would have mentioned it to the Receptionist on checking out but I wasn't asked.

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. We were not happy with first room allocated on the 2nd floor, view made it feel like a prison but was re-allocated a room on the 4th with a lovely view of the canal.

Breakfast was OK but not very hot - I hate cold mushrooms!

Bar pleasant but not very big. We had a drink on the afternoon but it was too busy for us to enjoy a drink after 10.30pm so we didn't bother.

Nice big room, clean, and quick to check in. We upgraded for a small amount to a club room. This was supposed to give us a drinks token. This wasn’t offered but the room was nice so didn’t complain. Breakfast was ok- lots of it had been sat out for a while and wasn’t hot. The scrambled eggs had separated and the poached eggs, were rubbery, but there were lots of options. Great location - easy to access lovely restaurants and a show at the Lowry.

Staff were very helpful during our stay for the marathon.
Front reception was welcoming.
Rooms were a good size with a fridge which was handy.
Bathroom could do with an update but was fine for our two night stay.

Had running water from a drain outside our window for our 2 night stay. Was awful. Staff were very unhelpful and could not change us to a different room. Ruined our weekend as we did not sleep for the 2 nights we were there. Asked for refund and were told no. Awful customer service and awful experience. Also had food in the restaurant that was terrible.

Good location for O2 Victoria warehouse, decent stay. Not the warmest of welcomes from reception, but most of check in is done online thankfully. Comfy stay, comfy bed, good sized room. Little noisy from road traffic, the windows weren’t to beat. Nice bar area and restaurant. Very over priced, but it was super busy in Manchester that day, and everywhere bumped prices up. Have stayed before and would stay again

The welcome was ok. But we had to tell the about the toilets and the TV was not working. Staff came but was giving us all the excuses. When we ask to change the rooms the staff member said we are 100% booked but he will try and get us to change room the next day. We came late afternoon and asked about the change of room the same staff turn round and said he does not no anything and when i reminded that it was himself who was going to make the arrangements. He just said - \"i reported the matter and he has not received any thinking from the naintainance and there is nothing he can do\". Poor service and poor accommodation.

I appreciate the hotel is being refurbished but it currently is not 5*. Extra notes on Expedia booking not sent to hotel. Bathroom very tired condition. Room noisy and hot - no temp control. Offered a complementary drink as mentioned disappointment - house wine, lager, beer or soft drink … but no house wine available. I could go on! Positively … lovely comfortable bed, free safe parking, good breakfast and some friendly staff. This was our 3rd or 4th visit … won’t stay again until refurb completed.
