Great place to stay and relax and very affordable. Highly recommend a deluxe sweet, comes with your own pool. Really close to the beach and loads of great places to eat. Recommend hiring a scooter to get around and experience all beaches close by. Perfect place to catch the sunset with cocktails.

While staying at The Pelican I received a very mixed experience. Firstly we organised to be picked up by the hotel from the airport, this did not happen. After landing and collecting our bags at KBV, I messaged the driver to inform him of our arrival and check where he was. After already waiting for an hour in the airport I was informed he would be at least another hour. I decided to cancel and got a taxi for half the price the hotel was charging.

Upon arriving the staff was friendly and apologised many times for the inconveniences, just to inform us our room wasn’t ready and we would be staying in another room for the night.

It was clear the hotel was under renovation with loud banging and the sound of tools been used consistently occurring during the day. Coupling this with shouting, arguing and ‘banging sounds’ throughout the night from other guests made it hard to relax at times. While other guests being loud isn’t directly a hotel’s fault, when it happens 10/12 nights some accountability should be held.

We were also promised a bar, restaurant and room service. Sadly this was not provided. While yes the hotel has the facilities for this, we did not see them open once in the entire duration of our stay.

It’s hard to decide if I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. This is a transitional time for the hotel meaning that with time, review of process and some small adjustments this hotels customer satisfaction could improve.

It is a condominium building that is mostly empty. Balcony doors would not lock in the room. Service came to provide a temporary fix during our stay. Staff was very nice.

I have mixed feelings about this property. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. My unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. The property itself is in need of a major cash infusion to do necessary repairs to the exteriors of the buildings. I think covid hit this property hard. There was an obvious broken pipe in my building as water was leaking from random places all the time which may have contributed to the sewer smell that came from the kitchen sink. I really hope the property managers can figure things out because it would be a shame to see this once lovely property go to ruin.

Stunning Ocean Sunset View

Overall i would recommend this place as our room (1401 a block) somehow feels like it was the best one out of the other rooms in that resort. We had the pool by the ocean and what a view it was seeing the sunset at night and chilling by the pool in the dark as it has balcony lights. Pool size was reasonable to swim back and forth. Enough for 3 people comfortably.
Room we had was 3 bedrooms so 6 people can stay.. fridge, hob, microwave so can cook. Air conditioning in every room and a bonus is that you can leave it on whilst we was out for the day so nice and chilled when we are back in.
Resort had their own pool but we never got round to it as we had our own.
Room is clean and spacious with 2 of the rooms having own doors to go out to the pool. Only thing is that if you wanted room to be cleaned then you have to leave the key at the front desk.
Car park is free (car is a must to explore that place) Breakfast could be a lot better i feel for being a 4 star as just feels somewhat skimpy in certain things.
Having said that i would go back for that room again

Our one bedroom suite on the ground floor was infested with a foul stench of sewage day and night, especially in our bedroom. Just outside our terrace, there was an intermistic arrangement that looked like sewage drainage where tiles were removed, so the smell was very intense and annoying.

Our cleaners left dirty dishes outside our room for 3 days on the floor. There were cracks all through the building, the staff were quite unhelpful and did not honor our inclusions on the Expedia voucher.

Not up to par with the typically great service provided in thailand. Cleaning of the room left plenty to be desired and front desk could have been more helpful ..... or acted like they cared more, e.g. the power was out and although that can certainly happen and is well out of their control, barely a “sorry for the inconvenience” or any such comment when we inquired as to how long they anticipated it might be down for ...... won’t stay at this particular hotel again.

We had a pool and ocean view suite.
It was heaven. Inside was not so great. The kitchen was rather large but not functional at all. It had a stove and fridge, but no oven. There were no cooking equipment in the kitchen except for one pot and 2 pans. No dish towels, potholders, etc.
Sofa was really soiled.
There is no ATM and no wash machine. Washing service only. Not practical for an extended trip in Thailand. Would he nice to have some basic info about the resort and area in room.

We started with a free upgrade which was a great bonus, however the cleanliness of the property and the beach towels was not great. Booked transfer from the airport cost us more than was advertised in the reception which felt deceiving. Area is quiet around, only 400baht to Ao Nang though!

Okay stay. The room was nice, but a few lightbulbs were out. The breakfast was a disappointment. Not a lot to choose from and they couldn't keep up with demand. The area is okay too, but somewhat remote. Next time, I'd probably look for something closer to Ao Nang beach or stay at a larger hotel.

Cosy area off track from Ao Ngan but has everything you need. The hotelroom (3bedroom seaview) had everything you can desire. Nice view, huge private pool, 3 bedroom with ensuite bath, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove and big fridge to name a few. I really liked the beach which is across tge road. You can find about 20 bars along the beach of various qualities. We preferred the small laid back ones but there are even some with medium standard.
The breakfast was mentiined as average in many reviews which i disagree. Its a fair mix of Asian and western choices whuch is above country average. Surely you could find a restaurant serving just eestern or asian with better choices but traveling in a mixed group it was spot on for us. I've visited 5 star hotels of big chains before which where worse.
Also surprusing: the average guest seems to be western while a couple of asian famillies stayed there as well.

Overall: perfect blend of western and asian at a hard to top level. Local staff had some language barriers but never failed trying until we got what we needed.
Owner seems to be at premise most of the time and keeps an eye on it. Something I hope they can maintain at this level as we will come back.

Promising, but follow up needs touch up.

Nice reviews of the hotel and the location next to the Klong Muang Beach made us choose for The Pelican. We booked the Deluxe 2 Bedroom Pool Suite and were excited of having our own pool. Yet, what a disappointment on arrival; there was glass and rubbish all around our pool, the windows around the balcony dirty. It was that I already booked and paid for 5 nights, otherwise I had left on arrival. I went to the reception to ask for help; they would send someone right up to fix it. But that did not happen and the next day, at noon, I had to complain again before somebody was sent upstairs. I now asked to speak to the manager. The reception said he/she was in a meeting, but would definitely come back to me with a solution/ compensation. At check out, I asked where the manager was; he/she was still in a meeting…not very classy handling, to say the least! Although we made the best of our stay, the first impression remains on our mind. The hotel sure has potential, rooms very clean and spacious and the staff were very nice, but the maintenance and the management could need some rethinking and fine tuning..

The hotel is across the street from the beach with restaurants on the beach. Great tasting food at the local restaurants. We had a great 2 bedroom apartment with a pool facing the ocean on the 4th floor. Amazing. The staff were very friendly.

Utterly disgusting stay with Pelican Robbers.

Hotel Pelican Reception Staff is a bunch of Goons n Dacoits. We had 3 rooms which the goon staff opened n gave the keys for 2 rooms. 3rd room was attached so we also did not feel the need to ask for its key. When Checking out these Robbers asked for the key of 3rd room also which was never provided to us. Then they charged 3000 Bahts as key replacement .They robbed us on the pretext of a frivolous keys name with 3000 Bahts. As we had to leave for the airport we could not report the matter. But I have complained to the Hotel.Com to help n look into the injustice n cheatery. Hotel.com has assured me of giving relief.

Ok condition hotel but staff needs training

We stayed there for 3 nights. We changed the room in 2nd night due to stinky smell from bathroom. We complained to the staff, they made us wait for about almost an hr. Then they gave a new room, but we found out one of the room was used prorbably just not too long ago without deep cleaning. We found some hairs on bed, and bathroom with some sorts and stain. Worst part was, we found the water in fridge was opened and seems like someone drank it and just left it there. Staff didn’t check well before gave us that room. Then after they gave us another room, totally it took about 90mins just to solve one issue. It was a really frustrated night for us. Whenver we asked something, they seems like they do know anything. Truely disappointing. Hotel itself it’s nice and good for family, but staff just need training and improvement.

Absolutely awesome! Great place to launch into all the activities of the area along with a tranquil setting and away from busy crowds. We lived the 2 bedroom suites with plunge pool. A must for a relaxing retreat from a busy day swimming in the ocean and snorkeling.

The location was good, just across the street was a quiet beach far from the hustle of Ao Nang. The room itself looks a bit run down and quickly made. It’s not old but already feels used.
It’s good for families with kids.

Reasonable hotel let down by poor management.

Hotel was generally fine. The pool is the central feature but this was cloudy for the first two days. After the pool maintenance team did their thing it clears and was fine. Bathroom suffered from mosquitos. We couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Buffet breakfast was fine. Location was fine.
The big problem was in billing. At checkin I was asked to pay. They then over charged me due to confusion over reservation numbers. They subsequently agreed they had made an error but claimed their policy was to refund within 90 days. This is not acceptable. They should refund straight away. They appeared to has enough no authority to do this. Only when I lost patience after two hours of discussion did they contact the owner in Bangkok who then did an internet transfer to one of the staff who then ran down the road to an ATM to draw out the cash to pay me back. That is NOT how to run a hotel. This episode ruined an otherwise great holiday.

Close to the beach

Hotel was a very close walk to the beach which was nice. Staff were very disorganized and often had to ask the same questions multiple times in order to receive at least half an answer as they would start dealing with other customers behind you in line, say just a minute and disappear somewhere. Another thing we didn't like was that in order to have your room cleaned you had to hand in your key everyday (which we didn't learn until our last full day anyway). Seemed that our room was recently renovated? There was paint splatters on the doors, sink, faucets, etc and we only saw construction workers in the rooms on our floor. Air conditioner and sink leaked and we called twice for a repair person but after it took them an hour each time we just put a towel down as we wanted to enjoy our vacation. Pool attached to the room was nice but the jets and lights were turned off on the day before we left and never came back on, and as above, we didn't bother calling because we didn't want to fight for an answer and wait all day to have someone come look at it. Bed was comfortable. Location was close to lots of restaurants and shops to by beer and snacks.

We weren't sure where to stay and a friend recommended. We enjoyed our stay, but wanted to be closer to Aonang where there was more activity. The hotel was clean, nice and comfortable. The walk around the gate was no biggie, many seemed to find inconvenient, but very short distance that was safe and nice. Didnt get why so manyboeople made a big deal about it. The beach is super close and chill.

Beautiful hotel but far from the beach

This hotel was located just outside of Ao Nang. Very beautiful and clean. Great amenities. Breakfast very mediocre and an expensive cab ride to Ao Nang beach. If you want a quick walk to the beach this isn't the place for you. If you want quiet at the end of the night and don't mind a 400-500 baht cab ride to Ao Nang and back, this is a great place to stay and very nice little restaurants around. Staff was great.

3 bedroom pool villa with seaview in klong muang

Stayed in possibly the best room in the hotel where we can view gorgeous sunset while lounging in our own infinity pool. Great stay for a quiet do-nothing holiday. However, beach is not great for swimming - rocky bottom, many long tails and water is not clear. As for villa, needs better pillows that stay puffed. Breakfast is not great either. Hotel has nice landscape but can see that it is hard to upkeep. Staff is friendly. Day trip to Tubkeak beach is worth it for the nice beach (but railey's still the best ). Nice villa is best highlight for the 3nights stay. If only, there were more amenities nearby.

The room was absolutely clean and stunning. The pool area is nice (not heated). Staff greets you with a cold juice at checkin. Buffet breakfast was nice. A little expensive but good happy hour. Looks a bit dingy driving in but was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was.

Good stay in a decent hotel. Room(s) was enormous as I was upgraded and ended up with a kitchen, dining area and living room! Staff were friendly and the pool was amazing. Please note, the hotel is in quite a remote area and if you want the hustle and bustle I suggest you stay at Aonang beach. But for me it was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pelican this past week in October. The 2 bedroom ocean view suite had an amazing view with private balcony pool - the highlight of our stay in Krabi. Definitely worth the upgrade if your budget allows. The room was fully upgraded from the kitchenette to the bathroom- modern amenities and decor. It appears the rest of the residence is going through some updates, but nothing to be turned off from. Staff was helpful in answering questions, though slight language barrier at front desk. After a late arrival, we were checked in quickly, escorted to our room, and set up with a reservation for nearby Nest restaurant. Room was kept clean throughout stay & stocked with fresh towels. We used the laundry service, a bit pricey, but thankful for the option and speedy return of clean lothes. We opted not to dine at Nest as it didnt quite fit in with our itinerary but dined at some of the more local restaurants within walking distance. Quiet location, but only a 10-15min ride to busier Ao Nang location. I would certainly recommend this others looking for a romantic stay or even a family/couples stay who would make use of the interior kitchenette.

The location of the hotel is great. It is a few hundred meters away from the beach with easy access to the beach. The beach is reasonable and we were told that it is better than the Ao Nang beach. We stayed for 3 days in 2 room Villa with a pool. The villa was very spacious and well maintained. The resort was nearly empty as it is off season. The staff were very courteous. The spread of the breakfast buffet was not great, but the team were very helpful and prepared vegetarian dishes for us on request. There is a provision store not too far away and another Seven 11 about 0.5 Km away. Taxi's were easily available outside the hotel and for a little more than half the price. Reasonable selection of food joints nearby. The kitchen in the room was well equiped and spacious. The Wifi was not great despite - kept breaking up.

A really good stay. Won't mind coming back

The place is new and clean but because there's lots of trees and nature around, you can see bugs occasionally. It's not a deal breaker but just don't freak out. We got the cheaper 3 room apartment and the rooms are huge and spacious and the shower great with a good water pressure + really hot water. Fully functional kitchen if you fancy cooking stuff. There's a tour agency opposite so it's convenient for day trips. Food wise there's some eateries nearby which is about Ao Nang price. There's a minimart about 10min away.

Downside... there's no shelter from the reception to the rooms. Breakfast is really quite limited but sufficient. And because it's still new cab drivers might not know. Be sure to get the address + local phone number so your drivers can call to ask for directions. Location wise it cannot compare with Ao Nang but it's nice and quiet (with the occasional insect sounds at night) with decent amenities nearby.

p.s. we stayed the 2 room then shifted to 3 rooms when a couple joined in on day 2. This review is for the 3 room but generally it's all good.

2 Bedroom Suite with Private Pool

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a Private Pool for 6 days. The suite was perfect for three adults. The private pool offered a much needed reprieve from the heat. However, the beach is close by and is a perfect place to get away from the crowds. However, breakfast was horrible. Everyday, the eggs were undercooked and the selection left much to be desired. Moreover, they played the same Celine Dion CD every morning... Other than that, the location was great, the facilities were in good shape, and our overall experience was great. We would like to go back again in the future.

Bit disappointing for a Centara chain. Reception was giving us deluxe room n we clarified we had booked deluxe room with private pool. Room they gave had no water in sink n broken bathroom handle. Pool was bit bigger than jacuzzi. Next day we showed manager pictures of room we had booked n finally got correct room. Though she claimed it was a complimentary upgrade. So we lost 1 day in repackaged n packing for correct room. This however was very comfortable. But we lost 1 day in 4 days booked which was upsetting.

We stayed at the Pelican suites for 4 nights in a deluxe 2 bed suites with private pool. It was the best holidays we had. The suite was clean, well equipped and facing the beach. The property has a good restaurant with amazing service. There are also some very nice local Thai food restaurants across the street, so never missed anything staying there.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who is keen to spend an amazing holiday in Krabi!

We love how spacious and clean the room is. We had a 3 bedroom suite. However, disappointed with the utensils available, and we are not allow to cook. The pool is great as it is long we can choose our spot to relax. Breakfast is okay and same everyday. Floor area was wet and not being mop and cause one of my friend to slip and fell. Wish there is at least some apologetic compensation etc.

Location wise, it's great if you're looking for a quieter and peaceful beach as it is with less people around. We had great time at the beach as it almost seem like private to us and not so hectic and crowded there. We are still able to get to Aonang by Songthaew (truck) and Taxi (fortuner) in 30 mins which is fine with us.

Overall great stay, Basic kitchen needs are there, Breakfast needs to improve, not much variety to choose except for some fried rice and as usual basic bread jams. Location not so good. If you want more privacy, this is the hotel to choose as you can take a private pool.

Nice modern hotel , walking distance from beach

I enjoyed the stay in this hotelthe because it was quite, clean and modern. The swimming pool is clean and excellent for children. The rooms are modern and the hotel has a simple but nice buffet breakfast. The beach is at walking distance and it has nice small restaurants in the beach. The beach is not crowded and there is not people selling you things. The nest is the beach club of the hotel but i never went, it seems that the food and drinks are overpriced

Stay was not bad. Doesn't really feel like a proper hotel - lack of service. Room was only cleaned 1 time during the 3 night stay.

Nice apartment-style hotel but overpriced

Overall this is a decent place to stay with children as it's a quiet part of town with access to beach and restaurants across the street - but it's terrifically lacklustre and the staff are relatively useless.

The hotel does not respond to emails so I had to call several times to confirm airport pickup and the provision of a babycot - one person told me they had a babycot, another didn't do I brought my own and then they had one available.

The bellboys demanded tips. There was no silverware, pots, pans or cooking utensils in the kitchen. We had a 3-bedroom apartment and there were only 2 sunchairs on the balcony (the lack of outdoor furniture is astounding). Breakfast lacks variety of basic things like fruit (everyday only watermelon - really, no fruit in Thailand??).

And check-in/check-out took an unreasonably long time; staff would do inexplicable things on their computers for minutes then answer phones and deal with other customers while we were waiting.

We enjoyed Krabi but it was because we needed nothing from the hotel. There must be better places to stay for the price.

We had 2 bed pool villa.only disappointment was no twin beds.had 2 double beds.staff very friendly.if you asked for anything they went out of their way,they brought a single bed in to villa within 5 mins.this hotel is in a area which is developing and will cater for all age groups

We were a family of four and we quite enjoyed our time in the hotel and Krabi in general. Private pool and the pumps went out of action second day, however hotel changed room. Wish hotel could prepare the pool (clean etc) before guests arrive. Beach opposite property is useless and dirty. There are no great views of the sea. Attractions are accessible only by car and I would strongly recommend renting a car or motorbike if you want to stay in this property. Bring multi pin adaptors and a HDMI cable if you wish to connect computer to TV as there is very less number of channels in TV.

Rude shock in the hotel!

Private pool not exactly working & got the staff to fix it which took up time. Next day, same problem again & we didn't want to waste time again.
Bathtub-some tiny blood stains spotted before use. Eventually we didn't use the bathtub at all.
Make-up room service-We were quite taken aback to find our room already made up when we came back end of 2nd day. We're not prepared for anyone to enter while we were out since we havent locked up the valuables. There wasn't any information how to indicate for room to be made up or not, unlike other hotels with the door tag to 'inform' housekeeping. We would've thought makeup service will be upon request,so we just went out for our Day2 activities.
Day3-supposed to check out.
My husband went out to return the rented bike & i was in the room preparing.
Since i was in the room, it wasnt possible to see whose at the door. Heard the door unlock and thought it's my husband until i came to a rude shock to see a housekeeper walk into my room while I was still making up.
That experience was horrifying. What if the housekeeper walk into us still in bed or naked? I didn't hear any knock & werent informed of Housekeeping,& we havent even checked out.
No apology or explanation was given.
The stay began nicely but ended terribly. Very disappointed & will never recommend this hotel unless you're interested in 'surprises' like these.

Worst service ever, terrible value.

This hotel was the worst experience I've ever had, and was the most money I've ever paid per night!
Our family of 5 stayed 2 nights as a supposedly indulgent end to our 14 day Thailand trip. Even though staff were friendly, they had no basic hospitality or service training.
1. The self contained room had no cutlery or kitchen equipment.
2. The restaurant was disastrous. There was no milk at the breakfast buffet for the cereal, there was no coffee and the bread ran out. No hot food at all on the first day. They had only 4 chicken dishes and 1 burger patty left for dinner which my kids shared.
3.Don't bother calling for room service, they didn't answer the phone once and when we went into town to eat, we were left waiting an hour waiting for our private shuttle after being told it would be 15 minutes.
4.Half of the hotel rooms are under construction, and the poolside tables and rubbish wasn't cleaned once.
Finally I got to talk to the F&B manager, Tim who was lovely, helpful an apologetic and upon my request voided the bill for the disastrous dinner and shuttle service, but I still feel that we were grossly overcharged for what the hotel provided.
The room was nicely furnished, but not special. The pool is about the best thing. The town is dirty, the local restaurants look filthy and there were roadworks that made the streets one big muddy mess. Ao Nang the large tourist area which was fantastic, but it cost 200 THB pp to get into. My advice is to stay there.

New hotel across from beach

This is a new hotel set across the road from the beach, unfortunately the road is quite busy, with quarry trucks passing frequently, although we were told that the work there was soon to be finished.
We had a 1 bedroom deluxe suite which was superb, a large lounge with kitchenette, large bedroom, bathroom with jacuzzi style bath a large shower cubicle, also with an extremely big balcony with furniture in all 81 m², it was ver clean & well furnished.
There is a large swimming pool which was extremely quiet (we were here in January) but was lacking in sun loungers & access to the pool from some areas is a little difficult.
The staff all had smiles & were very pleasant & helpful.
The beach & surrounding areas would benefit from a good clean, further along the road near the Nakamanda & Beyond Resorts it is much cleaner. Rubbish is left in the street for days on end, the local businesses need to do something about this.

A very nice hotel in the nicest of places- Krabi

I stayed with a couple of my friends for a single night. To start with the rooms were amazing. The staff is very courteous and honest. Everyone is helpful. Being a vegetarian, it is quite hard to find the right food. The chef made somethings quite specific to our taste for both dinner and for breakfast which is totally admirable. The pool is something everyone would enjoy.

Super nice location! Walking distance to restaurants, beach, shopping.
Our 2 bedroom was very big , nice equipped (also washing machine ;o) and clean 👌
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly .... and good to see a maintenance team on the facilities.

Vi havde et ophold med både plusser og minusser.

Værelserne er meget store, og vores taglejlighed med privat pool føltes som ren luksus – klart opholdets højdepunkt. Dog savnede vi mulighed for skygge på terrassen midt på dagen.

Hotellet fremstår desværre meget slidt (afskallet maling på facaderne, løse køkkenlåger, tyndslidte håndklæder og manglende fliser i poolen), og der var meget få gæster, hvilket gav en lidt tom stemning.
Vi undrede os over, at man skulle bede om at få udleveret badehåndklæder til poolen, og at sen udtjekning ikke var mulig, selvom hotellet næsten var tomt.

Der er ingen restaurant på hotellet, og indkøbsmulighederne er begrænset til en 7-Eleven. Til gengæld kan vi varmt anbefale Reua Thong på den anden side af vejen til morgenmad samt White Lotus, som er et virkelig lækkert og velholdt sted at få massage.

Alt i alt nød vi især den private pool og pladsen, men vi vender nok kun tilbage, hvis hotellet bliver opdateret og får lidt mere liv.

Underbart läge, fin pool men väldigt slitet!

Vi var där i april 2024. Då var max 20% av hotellet igång. Övriga rum var \"övergivna\".
Vi bodde i ett Ocean view top floor med egen pool. Blev uppgraderade fran 2 till 3 rum. Jättefin lägenhet med stora ytor och 3 badrum!
Uteplatsen på taket med stor pool hade utsikt över \"hela havet\". Helt magiskt. Dock fanns inget soltak, det hade nog ruttnat, vår solsäng var möglig och det fanns inget solskydd.
Vi betalade 42000 baht för 4 nätter, det var det värt!

Wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Service war top. Würden jederzeit wieder dort hin gehen. Der private Pool lohnt sich auf jeden Fall sehr, wunderschön um Abends mit der Familie noch zusammenzusitzen und zu trinken.

Gammelt slidt hotel. Var der for 1 år siden og der er ikke sket forbedringer . Store rum med masse af plads for farmile med børn. Personale er flinke men forstår ikke engelsk. Siger bare ja ja og så sker der ingenting . Der sker ikke meget efter 21.00 I byen. Dejlig strand med fornuftige priser på mad

A nice quiet place with a beautiful pool area. We had a roof to pool room, which was very nice. The little beach close by is good, a bit rocky, but lots of excellent beach bars and restaurants with high quality food and drinks. Don´t go here for nightlife. Go to Ao Nang then.

Nice resort, but it is NOT on the beach as it looks like on the pictures on Hotels.com, you have to cross a road. The apartement we stayed in was lovely and big, but the bed was really hard, and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. We had a nice pool view, and a big balcony. The pool is big and very nice, but there are very few sun bed's around the pool. The location is great (ecxept that you have to cross the road to come to the beach) It is close to many lovely beach restaurants. Khlong Muang is a nice area to stay in with a lovely beach. The breakfast was ok, not more than that. The staff was very nice and helpful, but there were a few things that could be improved. The christmas flowers was cleared away on the floor where the breakfast buffet was. When the juice was empty at breakfast it took to long before they refilled it. The same problem was it with the food, plates, beach towels and towels in the gym. The staff should have been more attentive to avoid this. Sometimes it could look like they were understaffed. But we had a nice stay in this hotel.

Hotell med god beliggenhet.

Hotelloppholdet startet litt dårlig fordi vi hadde bestilt henting på flyplassen og denne kom ikke. Men ansatte på flyplassen oppfattet fort situasjonen og ringte til hotellet og fikk beskjed at transporten skulle være der om fem minutter. Men like etter kom det kontrabeskjed om at det hadde oppstått en misforståelse slik at det ikke kom noen bil. Men de ansatte på flyplassen skaffet oss raskt en taxi som fraktet oss til hotellet og var 400 bath rimeligere.
Vi ble veldig godt mottatt i resepsjonen og damen beklaget veldig at det var blitt en misforståelse.
Da vi fikk rommet ble vi skuffet. Vi hadde bestilt Deluxe One Bedroom Pool Suite, og de eneste bildene vi hadde sett av denne romtypen var var bildene med beliggenhet på taket med flott utsikt og sofa. Men vårt rom lå på bakkenivå med utsikt rett inn i en hekk. Men leiligheten oppfylte det som var lovet i beskrivelsen, så vi hadde ingenting å klage over.
Beliggenheten var veldig bra, og det tok tre minutter å gå ned på stranden. På stranden fantes det små, koselige restauranter på rekke og rad. Den var ikke noe fin å bade fra ved lavvann, men kjempefin ved høyvann.
Dager og kvelder ble tilbrakt på stranden, så vi har ikke så mye mer å fortelle om hotellet.
Transport videre fikk vi ordnet med taxi som stod like utenfor hotellet. Dette fungerte veldig bra.

Vi tog taxi från flygplatsen ca 40 min (700 Bath) och anlände till hotellet redan vid 08 och fick ett trevligt mottagande och en smidig incheckning. Personalen ordnade så att vi kude få lägenheten tidigare än utsatt tid. Vi bodde i en mycket rymlig och fräsh lägenhet högst upp 4de våningen med 2 sovrum och pool på den rymliga balkongen. Frukosten var bra och riklig med färsk frukt, flera urval av äggrätter som gjordes å la minut och en hel del varma lokala rätter. Området är lugnt och hotellet ligger nära trand med flera restauranger och massageställen. Vi var mycket nöjda med vistelsen.

Overpriced and run down

To summarize first. Then you can read on if you like
Avid and experienced traveler, many times Thailand visitor, first and last visit to this hotel. (Seriously, I will never visit this hotel again. Ever)
Bad service
Overpriced (this is actually my biggest grievance)
Run down (do NOT believe the pics on their web page)
Poorly maintained (I saw absolutely no maintenance work being done either)
Big pool, but few places to sit or lay down
Grayish pool water (not sure how dirty it actually was, I deemed it swimable)
Dirty sun beds
Very poor breakfast, especially at this price point. All over dirty restaurant.
Very nice rooms. Spacious and clean
Nice view, noisy street just below the room.
Very good house keeping
Nice gym
Close proximity to the beach.. but with a
dangerous road between the hotel and the beach. (Kids cannot go on their own)
Nice quiet area in general (except for the noisy road that is)
Nice quiet beach (with absolutely no sun beds. Yes. None)
Area is predominantly Muslim so expect your daily 5 am (-ish) wake up call from the minaret. (Didn’t actually bother us that much, but this may vary with the way your room is pointing I guess)
