Loved the location that was the best part of the stay. Staff was good, the bungalow was quite small, and the bed was probably the worst thing about the place. It felt like your sleeping on a cement. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Shower sucks. It’s right on the toilet so everything gets wet. It also has a nasty sewer smell around the hotel, in the bathroom and around the island. Won’t stay here again.

Amazing stay! We were travelling with our two-year-old, and this place was perfect—located on the calm, quiet side of the island. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow just a few metres from the water. It was also conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk to the port and around 15-20 minutes to the busier part of the island.

Ideally situated right on the beach with a cool Tiki bar just outside. Great for anyone who likes Phi Phi but doesnt want to live right in the chaos of it as its a lot more chilled but within a ten minute walking distance of everything going on on the island. The room I booked was doable for one person but they do sell it for two, I'd imagine for two people it'd be a struggle as it was quite small. Perfect for one person.

I was a bit concerned at the start with my room but they changed the next day for me. I was right on the beach with a beach bar in front and a 5 minute walk to the village centre. Staff were great and very helpful

The resort is at the end of a walk from the pier. Makes for a quieter stay. The rooms are small but very nice and right on the beach. We stayed in a cabin at the resort. Great value hotel.

We had a beach front room which we booked months before our trip. We had to wait for the guy to collect our luggage, if I was young & fit we would have dragged our cases to the resort. The beachfront room was on a tilt and the bathroom was more noticeable with all the cracked tiles on the wall and floor, bathroom door had to be lifted to be able to close as mossies came through the floor cracks. The shower gave of a sewage smell and pressure was nearly non existent especially the sink. We had no sheets, towels or room made up for our entire 1 week stay. Bin was on the balcony and emptied daily along with 2 bottles of water. We had to go to reception for toilet paper. We had 1 towel each for our entire stay. You need your own beach towel. Furniture is all wood and needs a good clean, the bed was very dusty where the mattress sits. Mossies came through the cracks on the floor on the side of the bed. Bathroom needs ripping out & new installed. For what we paid for beach access I’d expect a good bathroom and bed, it was hard. Setting on the beach was beautiful and the bar in front of our cottage was also good for bottles of small Chang’s at 100bht Smile & Sandy were lovely girls who worked hard.

At the very far end of PHI PHI island. The huts are in the front of the property looked empty (that’s what we thought we booked). We were in the second floor and had an ant problem. Got bitten in bed. Shower was very strange lots of construction near but got a bit loud in the am.

The area could not be better and they gave us the front facing room, however wished the staff was more available, they were not present after dark. No tea coffee was available even though there was a kettle and cup. Given the price, expected the little small things.

the receptionist was SO incredibly rude when she checked us in and the room was terrible with curtains that did not function and the bungalow was on a busy road, so anyone could see into our room.
the shower/bathroom/toilet are just 1 large room. the room was terrible and we decided to leave after a few hours because we found a much nicer room for half the price. the girl who checked us in was so so rude and clearly annoyed that she had to raise a finger.

Living inside a Marchbox!!!

The ones shown are just a few cottages, the real ones are behind in a building, secluded & claustrophobic. Its like living inside a matchbox. Bathroom was barely big enough to stand!

A lady sits in the front allocating rooms & thats the end & start of any hotel staff!

Strictly for budget travellers for 1 night sleepover, not a day more! Would never recommend this place

Good thing, close to Beach, few steps in to the sand

No one told us about the cleaning.. apparently you have to inform front desk if you want to clean the room or want fresh towels.. bathroom is always wet. The shower head is right on top of the toilet seat and sink. When you take a shower, everything gets wet.

Beautiful picture spot

The hotel had a fantastic location, near the end of the bay which made up for incredible pictures! The bed was very comfy and cozy, the shower was pretty funny though. My boat left with my backpack on it and the hostess was extremely nice and helped me get a new boat and called to make sure they found my backpack.

They were very friendly. I was struggling to get my luggage down the stairs during my checkout and one of my suitcases got away from me and slid down some satir outside my room. Seconds later I had people rushing to be sure everything was okay after they heard the fall. One man was so willing to assist me the rest of the way trying to hold everything for me. Very sweet people. Beautiful place.

In front of a beach was a plus and seconds of walk away to amenities. Light sewage smell from bathroom I guess after Google about the island sewage water have leak to there the island underground freshwater pathways.

Cockroaches, loud screams not ideal but beachfront

I stayed in the Delux bungalow ... it was simple and charming right on the beach. Beware there’s only a few bungalows and many had to stay in the concrete building in the back. I stayed three nights, I think that’s too long. I was woken the last night by a cockroach in my bed the size of 3 fingers. There was also a man screaming outside my door that scared me since I was solo traveling. You are on the beach on the quiet side it was a mile and half walk from pier and no one showed up to help
Carry luggage which was disappointing. Staff is rude but what’s to be expected.

Good beachfront location on quiet side of Phi Phi

Beachfront location on the quieter side of Phi Phi island. May be a bit of walk for those who intend on always being where the action is, but the peace and restfulness was welcomed and it still was not a very long walk to get to the main area. Room was simple but clean and met expectations for price and for being on the beach. Would stay again and would recommend. Front desk was very friendly and accomodating at check in.

Book the \"Deluxe Bungalow\" not the basic room. that is what you see in the pictures. Nice simple place on the beach, a short walk to the down town area, great Thai Massage in front of the bungalow.

The bungalows were located on the quiet side of the Island close to the pier which was nice, they helped us transport our luggage when we got there and when we left. The rooms are small and we had roaches the first night but never again after that. They provided us with one blanket and only cleaned the room when asked, but did give us free water daily. The view and location were perfect for us but far away from any parties if that what you’re looking for.

The photos are deceiving...we though we were booking a bungalow on the beach for our family of 4 but instead we could only stay in the 2 story hotel in the back of the property with a room that had 4 beds lined up. This was by far our most expensive accommodation and we didn’t mind paying when we thought it was for a bungalow on the beach. It is nice to be a 2 min walk to beach and this side of the island is the best for family or away from party scene. The front desk girl doesn’t get off her phone the entire time of our stay. Even during check in she continued to talk to someone on speaker phone. No one comes to clean room and you have to go ask speaker phone lady for more toilet paper daily. Don’t stay here. The other hotels next door looked way way better. Definitely had hotel envy! Every other place in Thailand that we stayed was amazing.

We were supposed to stay in 5 beds room, but since only 3 of us came, we tried to request a front beach bungalow. Despite the language barrier, we were upgraded to the front beach bungalow which was awesome. They provided the extra bed at no extra cost. Thank you.

Hotel needs to improve its smell in rooms

Me and my fiancé stayed here for two nights and once we arrived to our there was a really bad smell in the bathroom. I complained to staff about the smell and they sprayed air freshener. The air freshner did not work the bathroom still smelled very bad idk if it's the plumbing but the smell was aweful. The cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing I did want to use their sink or toilet. They need to clean the sink because that was dirty especially the faucet. There was technically no shower because the shower was on top of the sink and toilet. The water pressure is low and the water hose did not reach far. this was very uncomfortable. For the price we paid I guess it was a descent but the hotel staff need to work on the cleanliness and install phone lines in the rooms. It was very annoying to walk out your room to the front desk to ask for something

A relaxing few days

Although staff were a little terse, they were helpful and organised boat trips. Bungalow faced the beach, a couple of cafes were close by and it was within easy walking distance of town facilities. Only complaint would be that there was nobody to meet you at the ferry.

STANDARD ROOM IS NOT A WOODEN HUT + SMELLY WATER

I have used this place before and I was last there two years ago, Since that time they have built a concrete building at the back of the picturesque wooden huts that you see on all booking sites. I booked three standard rooms as per pictures in a wooden hut and when I go therre and taken to \"wooden hut\" I was in fact shown to the new concrete building that was so small it was laughabale, We questioned this with the manager who procceded to tell us standrad room was concrete building and that they had not updated websites to show the building yet! Veryt handy for what he was to do next! He then said if we wanted a wooden hut it was to cost us extra £10 sterling / 1000 Bhat a night. We all agreed to begrudgingly pay this as we wanted the huts and not the back packers small concrete room we were given, Over the four day stay myself and my group watched the same thing happen to new arrivals on 10 occasions! 6 opted to go elsewhere 3 paid for the upgrade and 1 stayed in the room due to costs. I have taken some photos and attached to this review to show what a standard room consists off and the building it it is in, A million ,iles from the wooden beach huts that are shown on websites and really it is a bit of a con to get more money from visitors.
One other bad thing that did not go down with our trip once we moved to the wooden huts was the the tap and shower water, It absolutely was stinking, The smell was a terrible like sewage water. Love Phi Phi island but not this venue

We booked the bungalow last minute in Phi Phi. The beach was only steps from our bungalow. The room was nothing fancy, minimal, but had all we needed. The hotel also provides tickets for tours and the ferry. The resort is located in the section of Phi Phi that is quite and wayyy less crowded, but only walking distance from the heart of the island. A great stay for a great price.

Front staff very unorganized and slow. Sulfer smell in water, made for brushing teeth and showers unpleaseant. Very crammy, good if you just want to crash after partying?? The choices on Phi Phi are very limited.....so i guess this was okay for our 1 night stay.

Downsides: Owner very rude to us immediately, hard to get water and wifi without a fight. There are cockroaches in the rooms so be aware. Sand is everywhere. Kinda far from restaurants (15 min walk)
Upside: right on the beach, interesting bungalow style, air conditioning and clean linens. Overall good experience if you're well travelled and flexible.

Good price for decent room

We chose this room because it was a good price and had space for four of us. The room was nothing exciting though the location is great, right on the water. They did not tell us in advance but they shut the power (including air conditioning!) off on from 10AM-3PM. Bedroom and bathrooms could be updated and look cleaner. It did its job as an easy place to stay though.

Pour 40 € la nuit à éviter...
4 chambres à l'arrière avec vue sur un magnifique mur de béton
Forte odeur de naphtaline pour repousser les cafards..ça vous prend au nez et à la gorge..
Matelas posé sur un sommier en béton...
Ménage pas fait..pas de renouvellement de bouteille d'eau et de papier toilette...seul l'emplacement sur la plage est agréable..
