Rhett
The location is prime, with it being the closest hotel to the SFA campus. My room was clean, and well maintained.
Ellen
Very clean room. Sweet front desk girl. Easy checkout. Kind guy working at front desk when I checked out. I was visiting Nacogdoches because my daughter will go to SFA soon. I’ll definitely stay there again. It is so close to campus and a good value for the price
Kristen
The staff was nice but the towels smelled awful, there were bugs in the room (to include a roach) and the mattresses were extremely worn and uncomfortable
Abel
The facilities were adequate overall. However, the hotel advertises breakfast, which consisted of oatmeal in a packet, muffins, and granola bars. I do not consider this a continental breakfast, and the coffee was very disappointing. In addition to this, hotel promoted a swimming pool, yet it was locked during my stay and did not see anyone using it. While the staff was nice and facilities served its purpose, I find it misleading to advertise amenities such as breakfast and a swimming pool when neither met reasonable expectations.
criselda
There was no breakfast at all!!
LaToyce
The front desk was nice and helpful.
Troy
good location for easy access to dining and the University, but the motel is quite run down. roaches, peeling paint, broken fixtures in the room... and the lighting in the parking lot is excessive...to the point that inside the room is bright all night long making it very difficult to sleep. pricing is appropriate.
Leta
The staff were kind and helpful. I was checking mattresses for bed bugs (there were none) as I always do before I go to sleep. It was midnight. Unfortunately under the mattress on top of the box spring there were multiple dead roaches. I went to the office and told them. The kind man came and swept out and wiped it down. He also brought some Raid and sprayed in the corners of the room. He kept apologizing. I appreciate him coming immediately to clean it so I could go to sleep.
Amber
When arriving at the hotel, it was obvious that the state and condition of the hotel was not like the pictures online represented. It is rundown and alittle sketchy looking from the outside. After we checked in we entered our room to be greeted by a dead roach in the bathroom. We booked using a 3rd party service. Apparently the staff doesn’t know how to handle 3rd party bookings because the front desk personnel then came beating on our door and made false accusations that we provided fraudulent bank account information and a fake phone number. We booked through Expedia and mind you I gave them a copy of my credit card when I checked in so have no idea where they got the fake bank info from since I didn’t provide anything like that. With the room being dirty and the hostile front desk we decided we had had enough and contacted Expedia and requested a refund and to move to another hotel.
Jamie
All they had for breakfast was muffins and nothing to drink.
Shannon
The white comforter had an orange stain on it.
Aurora
nice clean rooms, comfy beds, easy check in... i stay here when i go visit my daughter at SFA
Felicia Lynne
Always nice to stay Clean and close to SFA
William
Upon entering, the room had a stale odor but once the air was circulating seemed to dissipate. Not so bad to want to change rooms but not fresh. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bath and shower were clean. Area in the corners of the shower/commode area need some attention as do the drains. They do not flow well at all. Overall, more the money it was good, not great.
gregg
The stay was good the hotel was great, but the breakfast was not clearly advertised. It said breakfast included, but I later looked back and it said grab-&-go breakfast in another spot. My mistake for not looking thoroughly enough, but their mistake too for not making it clearer. I would stay here again but would be more prepared.

Bathroom needs an upgrade. I didn't take a shower.
Mary Grace
The room is super clean and they have the friendliest staff. Will definately stay here again as it is also in close proximity to SFA. Breakfast is muffins and juice though.
William
Front desk clerk very friendly. Exactly the friendly attitude customers love dealing with. You are tired miserable
Josh
Clean room. Good value. Great location.
Christopher
Older property. Needs some updates.
Henry
Room was in good condition. Front desk was a bit rude when we dared to ask for a room replacement pass key.

Room is kind of gross, the sheets had stains and there were roaches in the bathroom
jean
While clean, the website pictures showed a much more upscale property.
Henry
Great location
Ashley
Very spacious and clean room. The A/C worked amazingly but the only thing I don’t care for was the shower pressure. Other than that it was a great place to stay for the rate.
Joe
The breakfast was poor. The clerk in the morning was unfriendly.
Verified traveler
Not a bad place to stay but it could use some upgrades. Some paint here and there, bathroom tub had some problem areas and the sink area was tiny compared to the last room we stayed in at the same hotel. Overall it is not bad for the price.
Charles
No room should ever smell that horrible.
The rooms looked clean but smelled horrible. Like a 30 year old bar. I had already checked in but left so I could not get a refund. If you are a smoker that might be acceptable but for me and my family I had to spend another 200.00 for another room someplace else.
Roxanne
It stated breakfast available, but the breakfast provided was less than expected. There was no hot food, only mini muffins and granola bars. No cereal or hot water for the oatmeal packets on the counter. I was expecting breakfast, but had to go elsewhere and spend extra money.
Laura
Enjoyed the updated amenities. Someone took care in supplying furniture, desks, tables and organizers.

What you get for $83
The check in was good I asked if the pool was open and the answer was "I can unlock it for you."??? We were not given the hours for breakfast. The room was large and clean but was dated and didn't have enough outlets near the beds and the remote was taped together but needed new tape. The AC worked great and was quiet. In the morning a Thursday, breakfast wasn't until 7 and was a very basic cold breakfast that should be disclosed on the website.
George
Friendly staff, clean and convenient

The check in staff was absolutely wonderful!!!!

It was good except for a group of young teenagers being very loud both nights of my stay.
Leon

I could hear the other persons in the next room, was not able to sleep well

This was a lesson in how lots of little things add up to a poor experience that will keep me from coming back.
The hotel’s palm tree completely obstructs the Days Inn sign from the west, so I missed my turn twice.
It was extremely inconvenient to be upstairs, and I felt like I had no choice without paying more or going with a much smaller bed, & I really don’t think the man cared. I’m a healthy senior citizen, but can’t comfortably carry a 25-lb suitcase and cooler up 2 flights of stairs.
It was noisy, with smokers in the walkway by my room.
No tissue box. The coffee creamer wasn’t replaced, so I did without my coffee. No mention of start time for breakfast at checkin, and no mention of it in the room. The “text if you have a question” got no response. The “free breakfast” consisted of some store-bought muffins and granola bars like you’d find at a 7-11 store.
For the small difference in price, I’d much rather pay a bit more for Best Western and get lots more for my money.

Clean, but room for much improvement.
Friendly staff and thankfully clean room, BUT there was an "odd spice" smell throughout the whole lobby. Front desk was messy. :( The worst part was that the walls are so thin I was awakened several times thinking someone had walked into my room or was stepping out of my bathroom. You could hear the people in the room next door talking, showering and going to the bathroom through the late night and early morning hours.

Nice customer service, unfortunately I couldn’t have a good sleep night! drunk and really loud people next door, I have to call at 1 am to the reception to complain!
William
Was there for retired dad's military funeral. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Shakeil
The floors were not cleaned the room had an odor and the blankets on tjr bed were as thin as the sheets. They could use a little remodeling and paint.
William
Great Stay and Reserved For Next Weekeek
Check in was great fast and very friendly. Rooms were very clean set up nicely. Plenty of towls and coffee for the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable a solid bed with no lumps or drooping and the best pillows EVER, i was so yempted to snag one. These were the perfect firmness where you did not need to keep folding them and the extra bit of comfort was the folded blanket on end of the bed especially on that cold night. Heat works great but with that extra blanket the heat could stay a little lower and not have that stuffy heat.
Ive already reserved 2 rooms for next week for my family for Father's Military Funeral. Hope for the same room.

a good room rate. Easy to access and get around. Just could stand some freshening up, but okay to stay at.

The checkin was easy. The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. A great deal for the cost.

It was great 😃👍 loved every minute of our stay and friendly staff ❤️❤️❤️
Yi
Very friendly stuff and many fast food options within walking distance
Hollie
The parking lot was super small, limited on spaces, seemed like just enough for the number of rooms. The parking lot lights were super bright & even crept in through the closed curtains. It was a built in night light in the room. Sign in front of hotel & when booking the hotel said free continental breakfast and all it was 1 type of muffins, apple & orange juice, & coffee, I was expecting more of a variety.
Cathy
Very clean, as a woman alone I felt safe.
Glynis
Nothing, the pictures of the rooms look nothing like that. The tub was creaked and rusted. Didn't have anything for breakfast. The pool was green on the floor of ìt. Was very dissatified for the price I paid.
krista
Beds were very comfortable. The one and only sink was stopped up, constantly encountered a few roaches in the room and spiders.
Online the hotel allowed pets, but when we got there, that was not the case. This hotel could be a lot better with just a little bit more attention.

I was there for one night during SFA orientation. It was a great price, so i wasnt expecting much. It is an older hotel so the furniture wasnt in the best condition and half the bulbs were out in the lamps, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were great. I wiould stay again for the location, it was walking distance to SFA.

Great night sleep.
It was a one night stay for a disc golf tournament. We loved the King bed with double bed and small wall divider.
Jennifer
The hotel is clean and safely located just down the street from SFA. The only downside is that the curtains don’t block out any light, and the room was bright all night long.
Amy
Would be a place we would stay again.
Brooke
Perfect economic place to stay with my family. Close to SFA
Jaclyn
Friendly staff
Jonathan
When we arrived the room we were assigned to smelled like cigarettes really bad. The person at the front desk was efficient in moving us to another room immediately. That was the only good thing about the hotel. The pool is closed until sometime in May. This was not disclosed at the time of booking, and the pool was one of the reasons we selected this particular hotel. The floors were so dirty that after taking a shower and walking around the room for a bit the bottom of my feet were black. The juices provided at breakfast were extremely watered down. There was no decaf coffee option, which really sucks since I have high blood pressure but still enjoy coffee. The only options for breakfast foods were instant oatmeal and some muffins. And when I say some muffins, I mean they only put out 4 muffins for everyone at the hotel. Breakfast being provided was also one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. While we did eat breakfast from the hotel on our first day, we went to a nearby restaurant to get an actual fresh cooked hot meal on our second day. I honestly should have just stayed at a motel 6 with how abysmal this stay was. At least the Super 8 in Childress, TX was nice enough that after we stayed there on our drive out from Colorado Springs to Nacogdoches we decided to stay there again on our way back. But the Days Inn in Nacogdoches was a joke. I will definitely NOT be staying there again.
Matt
The room was nice, however the bathroom was a bit dated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Joshua
Wouldn’t recommend
First room we had had a strong odor of Marijuana so had to get it changed and downsized from a king room to a queen with no rate changes or discounts.
Glenn
It was just okay. Old coffee pod in the coffee maker, no lock on the bathroom door, shower head was coming apart. AC was loud, so loud, in fact, that we thought it was actually a truck outside. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
Diana
Inexpensive and close to restaurants. Rm outdated
Staff was great. Room a little dirty and bathroom tub and sink need to be replaced. Not good lighting in bathroom.
Tom
We got what we paid for. Clean, safe lodging.

Awesome !!!!!
Excellent Host @ the Front Desk... She helped me a lot. I had been given a couple of Gift Cards for a wedding gift that I couldn't get to work, but she was able to assist me with my issue. The Room/Hotel/Grounds were very Clean !!! Just A Friendly Clean Atmosphere !!!!!!!!!
Thank You Days Inn NAC..

Never Again
You get what you pay for, I suppose. The chair pictured was the first thing we saw. Just throw it away. We only stayed because of inclement weather, otherwise I would have been out of there.
William
Check in was easy and the manager was pleasant. Room and furnishings need a major upgrade. Breakfast was just a granola bar or a muffin. The TV from the room next to us was loud and woke us up at 5 am. No phone in the room. It was just okay but we won’t return.
Sherri
Be careful how you book
Hotel itself was fine. Extra great customer service. Thankfully they were able to help me when hotels.com could not.
Because I booked through hotels.com and opted to pay at the hotel, hotels.com was not able to help me change my reservation. Days inn was not able to help because I booked through hotels.com. Service/help (or lack there of) from hotels.com was a joke.

It was good

The general cleanliness of the room was very good. The bathrooms could use some maintenance/replacement. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was subpar so, the towels stayed damp on the shelves.
Kim
We couldn't stay....left due to bad smell in the room and even the lobby was disgusting. Sooo disappointed.
Charles
The BEST
We really liked the hotel, the hotel is in the perfect spot, we're actually going back, several more times.
Debra
There was rust in the bath tub, burn marks in the blanket, the room smelt like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. I paid less at the super 8 and has a much better room. Was not worth the money paid for.
Benjamin
The front door was broken, the ice machine was broken, the bathroom light was out, the tv didn’t work and there was basically no breakfast.
Jason
Very surprised Wyndham would have their name attached to this property. I could have found an hourly hotel that compared to if not better than this property. Will not make that mistake again. I stayed in a courtyard by Marriott last night for the exact same price that was 10 times better.
brandon
Good location, close to campus. Room was a little "musty" at first (a/c was off). Cleared up after a few hours of cooling. Don't recommend turning OFF a/c when it's 104* outside.
Christy
It was not clean, my grandbabies feet were discusting after walking around. Toilets were nasty and I had to go out to buy cleaning suppiliez
Roy
Ok
Fabiola
Good things were, the room itself was very clean, and had really nice staffs members. Some semi bad things were that we had really loud hotel neighbors, kind of hard to sleep. Then on our second day we had a fire alarm that was pulled by the neighbors, then later on we had to get out of the room for a unsuspected but quick maintenance, but other than that it was an okay stay.
Heather
Arrived at 9pm, although my room was very nice, the air was off and the room was very hot and took a while to cool down. Disappointing when I just wanted to go to sleep. As a woman traveling alone the parking area felt very unsafe. I was out at the end of a row with poor lighting my and at least half a dozen random men loitering, sitting in staircases and on curbs, smoking ect. I felt very uncomfortable walking up to my room. I have a daughter in college in this town and will pick another hotel next time we come to visit.

Older but comfortable
The hotel was pretty quiet, and the bed comfortable. i was there for a week and housekeeping was a bit spotty. Bathroom needs new tub, badly.
Whittney
Very quiet. Rooms are clean.
Lisha
The unit had a dirty feel mostly due to the stained chair. Little things matter to me like quality of toilet paper. The room may have been clean, but due to stains did not feel clean. We reserved for 3, but only had two towels.
