Nice hotel and good people
Ramona
Man was it a challenge to make a u-turn during evening traffic to reach the property while traveling south. And the entry was flooded from recent rain. Hope this is improved at some point. I was in a truck and hesitated to drive thru the huge waterpool. Glad I was not in a small car. Good, hot breakfast, clean room, good parking.
Leonard
The staff is very customer oriented. Very helpful with anything that was asked of them. Would recommend this Nacogdoches location to anyone.
Frances
Good place to stay, enjoy

The air conditioner was broken in our first room but they were apologetic and quickly placed us in another room that was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Nice place to stay for the night while traveling.

I came to Nacogdoches for a funeral to be given this. The room was dirty had not been vacuum the carpet was filthy and not handicap accessible, only had a high tub and no shower. I had to find another hotel to stay in at 12:00 o’clock am. I called the hotels in the area and they couldn’t accommodate me. Finally I called the Sparks and they gave me a room. I was Blessed thanks to Hilton for the help. Now I’m going to have to fight comfort Inn not to be charged for not staying there in a dirty not handicap accessible room. Sorry Comfort you can do better you use to be very good. Talk to your Housekeeping Staff and Management they are ruining your name. From there for a Funeral. T.H.

Overall our stay was great!
Things I wish were different: the toilet needs to be replaced or at least in our room 336. It ran constantly no matter how we flushed it or jiggled the lever. Also, toilet was very low to the ground-needs updating. Also, the carpet had lots of stains. I really was concerned taking my shoes off and walking barefoot. Needs updating to vinyl plank or minimum new carpet. And the coffee pot had a used filter bag in it. Having not known how long it had been there we didn't use the coffee pot.
Breakfast was very good! We had bacon, eggs, sausage, fruit and chocolate muffins-all were very good! The coffee from the lobby was good and hot!
Beds were very comfortable not too hard or too soft. The bedding was clean and comfortable with lots of comfy pillows. The included lotion smelled great! We asked for an extra soap bc there was only one for 2 ppl. But was given with no problem. The water pressure was strong. We were far from the elevator so it was very quiet and we never heard our neighbors except when their kids were laughing in the hallway once. The TV was great. The staff was nice and accommodating. We would stay here again for the price!

Experience was wonderful. Staff was so nice and helpful. Room was clean and was pleased with the temperature of the room with it beening so hot. We did go to the pool and was fun for me and my kids with it being indoor. Will definitely come back again.

See my first review and it's pretty much the same. **Shower curtain needs to be longer**
The desk clerks weren't welcoming and seemed bothered when questioned. Hospitality and courtesy is a must in the field they chose. Smile

The Staff from the Cleaning crew to the Breakfast Kitchen were courteous and helpful.
The room was just right.
For as long as our son continues to attend SFA, this is where we will book!

Funny smell when entering hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Hotel is just worn out. Water pressure in the shower is great!

Thin walls and ceiling.

Older property with poor renovations! Had roaches in our first room and had to change rooms!
Sholanda
Upon entry I was not greeted with a welcome in to comfort suites, but more of a what do you want attitude. The front desk attendant yelled at a party of kids in the pool at night, that had water all over the floor and elevator. No maintenance dealt with this. I had just finished a 13 hr road trip and was put next to a room with about 10 kids and the volume was real! I asked to be switched into another room, that had roaches. I travel quite a bit and for years. We are a military family and have been everywhere. This place is unacceptable.
Kendra
The room was very clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff was friendly.
I did have torn linens on the bed but no other complaints. Breakfast was very adequate.

Didn’t have breakfast but saw it and was aware of it
Veronica
Staff and room were great! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there was no hot water for my stay so I was unable to take a shower. We were told when we checked in that it would be fixed by the next morning but then the next day we were told the part didn’t come in.
Amy
We had a 2 night stay for my daughter’s college graduation which we booked well in advance to avoid the price gauge for the busy weekend. The property called the day before our reservation to confirm we would still be there. I assumed they were overbooked. I reserved a suite so the 5 of us in my immediate family could stay together. We arrived separately and since I would be the last to arrive I called ahead to put my husband’s name on the reservation. No problem. He gets there and checks in to be told “we don’t have hot water but it should be fixed tomorrow.” While inconvenient, not a big deal. Graduation day came & went and when we arrived back at the hotel after dinner to change and continue celebrating, we were told by a fellow occupant that there still wasn’t hot water. There was several occasions where someone could have told us about the hot water issue before we arrived and after the first 24 hours when nothing was fixed. We were only told after check-in and once it was too late to find other accommodations. There was also no offer to help us find other accommodations or reimburse even partial payment for the inconvenience. Since I booked through Expedia, I contacted them for a remedy to which they negotiated an 18% refund. I did accept the refund, but looking back, I wish I had stood my ground for additional compensation.
Weida
There was no hot water for two days. We were told at check that it would be mostly be fixed by December 12th. We checked in on Thursday, Dec 11th, 2025 for our grandson’s graduation from SFA.

Leaking faucet in the bathroom kept me up half the night. And then the room above us took a shower, and I could literally hear him washing. Beds were also very uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic with bacon that had no flavor might as well have been cardboard.

Room was ok, bed was soft and slept good. Breakfast was excellent.

Great room!
Christina
Updated to appear remodeled but only remodeled enough to appear that way. When you really look the condition of hotel is pretty poor. Even taking a shower didnt make me feel clean. Staff we encountered were not friendly or welcoming, just do the job and get out of their way. Breakfast looked really good, taste was very average, nothing to write home about.
Courtney
The bed sheets/comforter smelled very bad. The electrical outlets by the bed were burned out and didn't work. The room did not feel clean. The bathtub had human hair all over it. The breakfast was sub-par. I will not be returning to this hotel. The elevator was dirty as well. Housekeeping is lacking at this hotel. Do better.
Jennifer
Super nice! Room was hugs. A double bed, a couch that opens up, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Very clean, veg quiet. Highly recommend!
Reinhart
Goodf place to stay
Jamelia
The front desk clerk was really nice. My room had a dirty wash towel hanging on the shower. It was a dead bug under the sink and it was dirt. The room itself was clean.
Azure
yes it was excellent! and also the breakfast
Brandy
I loved it
Jennifer
We’ve stayed here three times now and never before had an issue with hot water but we did this entire trip. You would have hot water and then it would turn cold for several minutes (usually when you were ready to rinse your hair) before getting warm again. We called the front desk and were told to “wait a few minutes.”
Also, checkout shows 11 am but we were locked out of our room when we went upstairs after breakfast at 10 am. Had to go back down and get it re-keyed.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and it had a good selection of tv entertainment options. It was close to campus for us as well. We had a good breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, salsa, cereal, orange juice, and grape juice. The cookies at check-in were great. We look forward to our next visit.
Sonia
I think this is the nicest Comfort hotel I've ever stayed at. It was so cozy with all the fall decorations the staff was great. The rooms were nice and the bed was so comfortable. They had a great variety of breakfast. The location is nice close to everything. We definitely will be staying here again when we are in town.
Randy

They need to have maintenance done on their ACs, lighting fixtures that do not work and their ventilation in the restrooms. Maybe it was just this room.

Okay needs new carpet!
Hotel needs new carpet or floor! Has a smell in room. Has to be that nasty carpet!
Glen
Main issue was booked two double beds and when we checked in at midnight to get 6 hours of sleep...they put us in king room and no other rooms were available.
We made it work but people choose two double beds for a reason.

Room was clean. Bed was a little itchy. Just stayed for a quick night sleep. Breakfast was regular continental. Eggs, potatoes, bagels, biscuits, waffles. Wasn’t terrible if you’re looking for a quick stay. Front desk was super nice.

Nice rooms friendly staff
It was a last-minute stay for my daughter's college orientation. I am so glad we chose to stay. The front desk ladies were very helpful and quickly got us the keys to the room. The breakfast was hot and ready and delicious.
We are staying again when we come to visit our daughter.

Overall good!
Overall it was nice. The beds were a little firmer than I like. The room was spacious and up to date. The Tv was nice and the breakfast was really good. My daughter use the pull out sofa but it was a little dirty under the pull out mattress just from lack of opening and cleaning it. over all for our one night stay it was pretty good. We would stay again, to come up and visit my daughter at SFA.
Terry
Older property. Breakfast was OK.
