We arrived late, but the young man who checked us in was very helpful and kind. When we went inside our room, the AC was not cooling. So I called the front desk and asked if they had a fan because the room was not cooling enough. The front desk clerk brought a large fan and he was checking the AC and he immediately said that since the AC was not cooling that he could move us to another room. Which he did, he moved us to another room, and the AC in the other room was working beautifully. I don’t remember the name of the young man that helped us, but he went above and beyond. We checked out at around 10:30 in the morning and when I turned in the key, the young lady at the front desk apologized to us for the AC, not working in the first room. She also thanked us for giving them our business and for us staying regardless of the situation with the AC. The next room that we stayed in was very clean and very cool and we slept very comfortably. Thanks to the clerk for everything he did for us.

Recently renovated clean room. Matresses were on the firmer side. Staff was friendly. New HVAC system, therefore no foul odors.
We were in Portland for a softball tournament & knew we would spend a minimal amount of time in our room. Place is within 4 minutes from sports complex. No hot breakfast is included but its surrounded by places to grab a bite. $153.00 for 2 nights was well worth it. I would book it again for our next tournament in Portland.

I know the area in general is humid, but I’m not sure if it’s normal to have the floors looking soaked every morning, thankfully Wasn’t an issue with the ac on the lowest setting. The ironing board and hair dryer was filthy, the fridge was wet inside. The bed headboard had gum on it. The shower and the sink wouldn’t drain. At least the Pool was great, and everything worked in the room.

Taking advantage of the Covid system?

No cleaning service offered during stay... Dirty sheets, burn holes in top sheet. Front desk lady was very nice, but definitely understaffed or just taking advantage of the covid issues. Hotels used to be full service everything. Now they're just a place to sleep in a dirty bed. Won't be using this hotel again. Recommend that you spend the extra $100+ on a hotel with good service reviews.

I saw a 3.9 average rating fro this hotel on Expedia when booked. Apparently the majority of visitors did not look at the corners, behind the commode or behind the furniture to find all the dirt anyone would ever want. The hotel has limited staff and cleanliness is not a priority. Hotel is frequented by nearby Exon workers who are soiled and inadvertently transfer their dirt on walls. If staff would only clean this would not be a problem

An Enjoyable Stay Worthy of a \"10\" Rating!

Staying at Day Inn by Wyndham Portland was a last minute decision due to auto mechanical problems while driving through the area. After contacting Hotel.Com and successfully completing a last minute hotel reservation, the end result was a fabulous experience. The Management Team at Days Inn by Wyndham were very helpful and accommodating. The facility was very clean, parking area very well lit and marked, and the hotel room was perfect, clean, and very comfortable. Accessibility to their WIFI was easy and readily available. The room had plenty of complimentary coffee packets ready to be used. Really an enjoyable experience! I would give Days Inn by Wyndham Portland a \"10!\"

When I first made the reservations I listed for people and when we arrive to a room there were only three towels. I was told there would be continental breakfast and in reality there was nothing but honey buns, very little boxes of cereal, a few packets of oatmeal, and you had to ask for milk at the counter because it was in a gallon. It is misleading To say they provide continental breakfast when they really Don’t. They had a waffle maker but did not have the mix or anything to make one.

Worst experience in a long time!!

Okay, so we arrive at our hotel (that I reserved about a month ago) at 4:30pm on a Sunday..front desk ignored me upon arrival and answered 2 phone calls. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait until our room was available. What could we do, right? So I ask her if there's a restroom I can use. She says \"this one is out of order.\" So I said \"well, do you have a bathroom we can use then?\" We were given a key to go to the fitness center. There was no air conditioning, it was very unkempt and there was urine on the toilet seat. After we finished we went back to ask if our room was ready.....which it was. So we go in, to find 2 nails on the bed (like from walls or whatever) room smelled like paint and carpet was damp. Great tv selection though! Wi-fi kept going in and out of service, refrigerator was not as cold as it was needed, and the door would not open/close properly. And there was issues with the shower drain because when I went to shower, it was as if I was taking a bath as well. Bed was comfortable. But I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Glad we only stayed for one night..
