Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was nice, quiet and clean.
Elena
Room was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. However, the beachfront access was very dirty. I wish they would keep it clean and maintained. We had to walk far from the hotel to have beech access.
Eloisa
We got a king size bed that was so lumpy, we did not get a good nights sleep. We requested an extended check out just to try to get some rest. In addition, no one told us where the pool was(if any) or another amenity.
Joseph Wayne
The lady who cleaned our room was very good.
She did a great job made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

VERY NICE STAY, WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.
Jorge
Spacious room, very comfortable beds, very clean hotel. The only mess was that they are renovating the Emerald hotel next door and doesn’t look nice. The hotel charges about $16 dollars to park your vehicle. The beach is close by, but I would like for a swimming pool on the property which they don’t have.
Leah
Very nice place!
Deborah
Breakfast was disappointing. No fresh fruit. Not much of a variety. Rooms were clean but very damp. The hotel had these big humidifiers throughout different ares of the hotel. Beach access very limited. I don’t think I will stay there again 😕
Gilbert
Everything was excellent
Iris
Best location, best breakfast, good staff, good housekeeping service ,We will miss the lemonade and cookies always good 😍this is a good complement thank you
melinda
The room was clean and check in was easy. Staff was polite. The disappointing thing was that it was not beach accessible. The hotel name is beachfront and we can see the water, but you have to drive to the beach.
Dilip
Rooms are maintained very well and staff were very good.
Pretty decent continental breakfast.
Parking is very spacious and free EV charging parking.

I was a bit disappointed with the hotel entrance; it smelled excessively damp, and the glass panes at the entrance were somewhat dirty. When I entered the bathroom in my room, the shower walls were dirty. I was not very satisfied with the service or the maintenance of the hotel.
Carlos
Nice view from room. No access to beach because of construction. No pool.
Mario
Very clean rooms attentive staff but shift management does not communicate with one another. I was a former Hobby Hilton employee and we kept a journal for each shift. Not a great place for family fun (I should have done my homework). No pool, no pooch amenities ($50/night), bay areas very dirty, nearby parks the same, and the first Hilton I was charged for parking per night!
For the commuter: if you want a good night sleep this is not the place. Walls are paper thin. We could hear TV and conversations from several rooms down. I thought it was my kids next door but they were also kept up by the same noise two nights straight.
The good! Clean areas, great breakfast, and attentive staff.

Once again amazing time beautiful view of the ocean and easy to get to the beach. Just have to watch for the steps I guess they had some bad tides come in and broke the steps going down to the beach but still accessible. Can't help what mother nature decides to do. This is our Go too hotel Everytime we visit and will always be
Chebella
Room was spacious. Desk clerk was courteous, breakfast was ok. Room location view was not what I would have liked as they were doing construction on another property that was viewable from my room, so windows where kept closed. The beach access was not as expected. Ended up going to north beach for better beach experience.
Jonathan
Easy check-in. The room was clean. We stay here when visiting our student at TAMUCC. We enjoy the breakfast and the view. The only thing we wish is that it wasn't attached to the Emerald Beach hotel. The building is in bad shape, and the pool area makes you not want to swim at all. They should demolish that part of the building.
Larry
First floor flooded during stay
Bernardo
Great room for family of 4. Beautiful views and its on the beach. Breakfast is great alot of variety
Trudy
The room was clean but the first night it rained and my room on the 5th floor had leaks in the ceiling. It was a mess. The hotel changed my room and comped it for that night. The breakfast was very good. The north view was nice of the bay but the south view was construction of the hotel next door and messy looking. The staff was nice and helpful.
Roberto
Breakfast was very well sorted. Beach view was nice!
Mistie
They staff was very helpful and friendly. I was staying 3 nights. The on site washer and dryer was perfect along with the option at the lobby store. I will definitely recommend and stay again if ever in the area. The beds were great with the best pillows.
Joe
Great place friendly staff scenery was amazing and close to beach.
John
Breakfast was great
Linda
Great place to stay. Everything was great including the service.
James
It makes me mad every time I have to pay to park at a hotel. Like I'm going to park somewhere else. My wife and I drove separate vehicles so I got it double. Construction coming in and out. Our room view was a little beach and construction area. I missed breakfast because I got a text about 8am telling me they were doing work with a crane and my vehicle needed to be moved immediately. At that point I just decided to pack my stuff and leave. Not a good experience for us.
Hollie
While visiting Corpus for work, I needed a comfortable and reasonably priced hotel with easy access to main highways and thoroughfares. However, I ALSO wanted to be near the beach! Being from Central Texas, I wasn't about to miss out on the beach even if my purpose for being there was to work. This was a great option for me! I had a beach view from my room, and easy access to the beach for morning walks. The nightly rates were just as reasonable as other reputable hotels that do not have beach views or access, and the continental breakfast was a super convenient perk.
My only cautionary comments would be
- Aside from beach walks, this is not a walkable area. Although beach-facing, there are no restaurants or bars that I was able to see that one could quickly walk to. That said, there are many spots that you can get to via bike or vehicle within a 3 mile radius. I was there for work, not play, so this wasn't an issue for me.
- Breakfast okay on one of the days I stayed, and great on the other. On my first day I got a text notifying guests that breakfast would be served approx 30 min later than expected. It was fine, but some of the cooked items were significantly over-cooked. The second day there were more cooked breakfast options, like small omelettes, and link sausage, and everything was delicious.

Expected a little more considering the location and price.

Smoking idiot set off the smoke alarms after we fell asleep. Alarm resonated for hours. Sleepless night! Staff--we're sorry--That's it???

Was a good breakfast however one day while staying the biscuits for gravy, cinnamon rolls and some fruit containers were empty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room had a water view over the construction total remodel of the attached sister hotel. Wasn’t much noise from the construction however they will not be able to keep the windows clean from the construction dust. With the attached sister hotel closed there is no longer a restaurant or bar and is more difficult to get to the beach. Have stayed at this hotel before which has always been great however this time the room needs more attention. Being on the beach is difficult to keep sand out and this time you could feel sand on the floor when barefoot and the tub had sand in the bottom. The plank floor also had some areas separated which can catch your foot. It is a great location on the water near the beach and downtown. Once the attached hotel remodel is completed and open again it will be much better with the additional amenities available again.

Very clean and super friendly staff.

Just upset we paid 200.00 for 2 dogs for 2 nights. Fire alarm went off at 11pm because someone was smoking in a room. Just too expensive now to stay with dogs.
Lino
Nice view from the rooms an access to beach. Beware there is a $50 parking fee on top of the room cost not disclaimed before booking.
Craig
Staff friendly. Parking is paid parking and I have never had to pay to park at the hotel. Found a roach in the room. It was dead but still. The stream option on the tv did not work
Dolly
Excellent Stat. Clean, comfortable, friendly and convenient! The outdoor area facing ocean could use more chairs, tables & another ashtray.
Jennifer
The room itself was very clean and modern. You’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Having breakfast included is a big plus. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will book with them again.

Pros: Good Customer Service, Decent Breakfast, Walking distance to beach, and nice size room. I also like when hotels provide the body wash.
Cons: There is construction going on as you turn into the property. The hotel isn't being remodeled its the property near it.
There was a concern regarding my room they quickly rectified the situation.

The hotel next door is under major renovation Although closed, you drive through that lot to get to this hotel. Afternoon front desk person was very friendly. Parking is not included in the room price. Small issues such as pancake machine at breakfast out of order and no toilet paper in the mens restroom in the lobby. Biggest issue was the room. Overnight so much humidity built up the floor became very wet. Not damp, but wet enough to soak your socks or require towels to pick up. All our clothes, pillows we brought, luggage and wife's purse felt very damp to the touch when we woke up. They sent someone up to actually mop the floor, but it began again as soon as the AC came on. Not a disaster of a night but we will probably look for another hotel on our next trip.
Terri
The room was very nice. Breakfast was nice as well. I’m not wild about being charged $15.00 a day for parking.
Diem
Breakfast isn’t good and staff is ok.
Anthony
Clean room, professional staff, good breakfast, and very large parking lot.
Scott A
Clean room. Construction going on in parking lot making it a challenge to navigate the entrance.
Leo
I didn’t have the breakfast. Parking was good and well lit and safe, although they did charge an extra $10 for parking.
Jennifer
Great location for us, we had tickets for a concert at the Hilliard Center and it was right down the street.
Hotel was clean and quiet! Bed was so comfortable!!

It’s Pretty and clean . There was no access to a pool . Loved the work space at the lobby .
Julian
The rooms were clean and smelled great! They offer a free breakfast. If you forgot toiletries no worries they have it all. The water pressure was not good but the hot water never ran out. It had its own beach entry so thats a plus. They charge for parking which they shouldn't if you're a guest. They offer parking for beach goers, but designating a parking section and charging for those spots should be the only charged parking. Plenty of restaurants near by.

Breakfast was great with a good selection. Room was clean and overall a great stay.

BED BUGS!!! STAY AWAY

Renovations are being done all around. Seems like an older property. The maintenance guy that helped us when our tv went out was awesome, though. There were hairs in our shower leftover from the people before us. But it was a decent stay. Will probably stay elsewhere next time we visit.
Kaitlyn
Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Construction is going on where you enter, but hotel was easy to get too. I would stay here again.
RACHELLE
Everything was just as we hoped for right on the beach. The staff were nice and the breakfast was great.
Tressa
It was a great property. Very pet friendly, easy access to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will go back. I had a great time
eric
Good place to stay. Building Under construction next door. Windows dirty.
Charlotte
Staff was very friendly and helpful, Room was clean and refreshed, you have to pay $10 dollars for parking but reminder it's around most places in corpus. Beach is just right there and was absolutely beautiful. Perfect for our one night stay and two beach days.
Connie
The hotel was nice and family friendly with the beach area but there was no pool. With little ones that prefer the pool to the beach this was a huge disappointment.
The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good ! I would like more vegan options like vegan yogurt and almond milk, but overall it was a nice stay.
I was a little ticked that we had to pay for parking bcuz that should be included in the hotel rate.

The room was spotless, super nice check in person, it was very clean and comfortable. The only thing was the sliding doors were getting stuck and we could not get out for a bit... otherwise all went off without a hitch.
SHANA
Clean, quiet, ocean views and better than average breakfast.
Lindsey
The room was great, the view was nice. The hotel outside and surrounding area of the hotel is a bit of a mess as they are doing construction on another wing. It's a bit of an eyesore but the interior of the hotel is really nice. My only complaint is that they tried to introduce a text message communication and it was TERRIBLE from the beginning. There is no one monitoring the text messages and they took several hours to respond. Absolutely the opposite of helpful. I asked if they had a hotel shuttle (they do not) and it took them 4 hours to respond. Don't bother with the text messages.
Melissa
The room was beautiful. The view superb. The floors were slightly dusty and hair seen under the chaise.

Pilar
Great sized room. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was friendly!
Cesar
Spotless room. More towels since we were 5 guests. I would definitely consider coming back.
Patricia
Didn’t stay there. It’s ridiculous as a tax payer in Corpus Christi tx that a motel would charge people just to park in there parking lot. Will not recommend that motel to anyone
Amber
Great spot for the price and the staff were great.
Natasha
The clean room and staff were amazing as well. The place was immaculate. Clean floors and fluffy pillows.
