The staff were very friendly and helpful with parking and facilities
The hotel was being refurbished and paint smells were VERY strong it also meant the staircase was not accessible on the 4th floor as the paint was wet!
However the breakfast area was tidy and there was a good choice of food and beverages and the staff kept it tidy and refilled
The hotel was within easy walking of the cathedral the river the station and the Resturant’s and shops.
Parking was accessible next door and a supermarket.

We had a good stay. The location is excellent, one minute from the railway station, the Christmas market was close by, the Jules Verne House, the Cathedral and all other sights were within a short walking distance.
The room was OK. It was fairly big but had limited storage space. It had an espresso maker but not kettle and no mini fridge. We had room 522 with the view to the inner yard. We were happy with that as it was very quiet.
The bathroom was OK but also it had limited storage space. It had shower only, no bath. The amount of towels was smaller than what can normally be expected and they were not replaced during our 3 night stay.
The breakfast was included in the space and was very good. It included all the standard items you can expect and the items were of good quality.
The bar area was cosy. They were showing a film made by the local tourist office featuring Amiens and the surrounding area. The film was well made and made us want to return to the area in the summer. The people at the reception were friendly and polite.

We received a warm welcome by the receptionist. The hotel is clearly in need of updating. For some reason we were in a disabled room. It was quiet but very dated.

But during the two nights there, one morning, there was a power failure during breakfast, and the other morning, there was no hot water.

We stayed here on our way back from Spain as a stopover and for a last night on holiday. We have been to Amiens before and this hotel was well placed near good dinner options. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. There’s a couple of car parks very close by. We would definitely use it again.

Functional and good value for an overnight. The shower in my room was almost unusable and the fixture and controls need to be fully replaced.

Room provided all we needed for our short stay including basic toiletries. The 2 sided pillows weren't great for us. Not much in outside noise which was great - only the seagulls at times. Some noise inside - the heavy doors are secure but slam shut loudly. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and cooked sausages alongside the continental breakfast. Plenty to keep us going.We found the staff polite and friendly. Thank you for a nice stay.

The chain delivered a king size, rare in Europe, clean bathroom with a funky low flow chowder head. A good, plentiful breakfast was available. The staff was always attentive and present. The location is close to all major sites. However, being literally next door to the train station expect some rowdy characters when you walk back to the hotel late at night (for example 4 young people sleeping on the street 50 feet from the hotel entrance). A great price, parking close by for a reasonable fee - I would stay here again.

Desk clerks were alway friendly and helpful when asked any questions. The hotel is in the same building as a supermarket, which made it easy for us to grab a snack or water for on the road. Parking is public and entry is difficult to ID. No elevators to get luggage to car from parking. The worst was the paper/disposable sheets that would not stay on the bed. They were itchy and hot. The breakfast bar was stripped by the time we got there. Best thing was breakfast bar coffee. Front desk was kind.

Hotel doesn’t have an own parking- you have to use a public one nearby - the main entrance is locked when leaving early (we tried to leave at 7:30am), the code wasn’t working so we had to walk around the multi-storey building and down 3 flights of stairs with suitcases - not really an accessible place.
The hotel is very basic and not welcoming in the room to make you feel relaxed.

Could have been better. Heating didn’t work for the first night so we asked for a portable heater as it was so cold. Next morning lady said she had fixed it so we didn’t need to move rooms. However we had to keep using the portable heater. Room wasn’t cleaned on one of the days & we had to ask for clean towels.

Great, overnight stop on route back to UK, right in the heart of Amiens. Pretty much last minute booking as well with no problem at all. Parking couldn't be easier or more convenient in Amiens 2 car park. 10 min or so walk to see Amiens Cathedral, which trust me is one of the most incredible you'll see. No doubt will be returning.

Lovely staff, tasty breakfast with good choices. Bathrooms seem freshly renovated. Good WiFi. Sketchy neighbourhood, attached to what seemed to be an abandoned shopping centre? Rooms are very small - you roll over in bed and hit an arm or leg on the wall. It was fine for what it is - an inexpensive place to lay your head for the night.

Went to Amiens for the weekend. The hotel was central so we were able to leave the car in the nearby car park (9 euros for 24 hours) and walk to the places we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although the room was small it was fine for a short stay. The buffet breakfast was an added bonus.

Literally steps from the train station. Comfy stay with good breakfast. Not too far to walk to the cathedral and other main attractions of Amiens. We weren't able to check in until official check in time, which was understandable, but there was a lobby bathroom we used to freshen up.

The staff at this hotel were the nicest, most helpful staff I think I have ever encountered, and I've stayed in many hotels where service has come at a cost many times more than this hotel. I watched the staff deal with some very unpleasant characters and marvelled at their unflustered restraint. Well Done. Everything else is par-for-the-course for a Holiday Inn Express i.e. totally functional and satisfactory without being exceptional, and good value for the price. It is also well located for the city and next to the railway station. The car park is a municipal one, but is under the hotel and reasonably priced.
