Nice hotel with a good bar and free hot welcome drink that we took in the morning as no tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Would recommend parking in the Amiens 2 car park opposite 9 euros for 24 hours. The area around the car park is not the best, I would recommend walking through the train station into town.

This is a great hotel to stay at. Its location makes it convenient to the train station and many of the attractions in Amiens. It is a walkable city with some lovely parks. Staff were pleasant rather than friendly but helpful when needed. This is our second stay at this hotel and we would stay again if in Amiens.

Very nice rooms, I lucked out got a 6th floor room with a fantastic view. All amenities were good, across from train which was great. 13€ breakfast I shouldn't have got, only worth if one eats like a hog which I don't but meh. I'd stay there again for sure. Picardie museum was awesome, Amiens is a wonderful city.

The close proximity to the train station was great. The hotel is also in close proximity to the cathedral which is beautiful.

When we arrived we discovered that there was a piece of tissue in the bathroom with blood stains. There were also blood stains on the pillow covers. It appears someone had an injury and touched the pillows but did not attend to the fact that they were staining them. The sight was disconcerting. We called for and received replacement pillows, but the pillows had no pillow cases and were too thin for comfortable sleeping.

Great location, fantastic staff

The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly when my husband was unwell one night. The hotel was clean throughout and we all felt very comfortable being there. Beds were really comfy.
The only downside was the fire alarm went off twice during our stay - very sensitive system apparently which reacts to steam from hot showers. The staff were great and apologised and gave free coffees/teas etc at breakfast, but I sensed they had to do this regularly and spend their life apologising to guests.

I enjoyed my stay in Amiens at Moxy’s. Staff were friendly, kind and accommodating — especially to a Canadian tourist not fluent in French!
The room was great! The bed and pillows good and had a duvet worth coveting.
A perfect location for a traveller using trains and buses to get around. Also, perfect for walking around gorgeous Amiens.
Breakfast was included. I would say the best breakfast in my two week stay in Europe. I should have asked if the apple juice was homemade or store bought because it was the best apple juice I have ever had next to my mother’s homemade.

We were disappointed with our stay at Campanile. Our room was compact but quite well laid out and useful. It was stuffy and the air conditioning did not appear to be working at all so we had to open the windows to get some fresh air. This meant street noise and light disturbed our sleep. The bed was overly firm and the pillows too soft for our liking. Breakfast was of a poor standard for the cost with most of the food cold and unappealing. Location is very convenient for the train station, just across the street.

The Cathedral and surrounding ancient streets are pretty much the main attraction.
The hotel was within short walking distance and parking lot across the street for the car.
Room was better then ok for the price we paid.
Had an issue getting into the room and had to wait for the manager to arrive and open the door with his key.

Nice simple hotel right by the train station. If you walk from the train station, don't follow instructions on Google Maps as they take you around. There is a direct path from the station to the hotel. The windows are very sound proof. It was very quiet despite being just opposite the train station. There isn't much to do near the hotel, but the old town is 10 minutes walk away.

The room is basic but clean and comfortable. We were surprised and disappointed that there was no safe and closet and storage space was quite limited. We stayed the night of a time change which as foreign visitors we were unaware of and we were very disappointed that the staff did nothing to alert guests of the change. Luckily we did not have a morning flight or train as we would have missed it. The location was quite convenient and the near by parking garage did allow in and out privileges.

Decent hotel in convenient location. We had reservations for Wed and Thurs nite. Shower was broken. We could not regulate water temperature - it would quickly and continually change between scalding hot and ice cold. We could not shower. Staff informed us this was a problem in the entire hotel and it would not be fixed until Friday. When I asked the manager for compensation he said no.

Good hotel right by the train station but it wasn't noisy. There isn't any parking on site but there is a multi-level parking lot right beside it that only costs about 7 Euros per day. It is a short walk into town and the town square. The desk staff were all nice and the only exception was a worker in the breakfast room who was not happy that we were a bit late for breakfast. (we didn't know what the ending time was.) The desk person said we could eat there when we asked. Other than that small glitch I would recommend it.

The hotel was super-handy to the rail station which is a bonus with a lot of bags. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were compact but still large enough for a couple. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked and was very quiet. I would definitely stay again. Good value for money.

Staff have very \"selected\" English that they wish to understand.
It was \"Impossible\" to put an outside call through to our room from a family member who was calling from Australia at 3am Australian time. It took about 30 minutes to get to this point of them understanding what our family member was saying and they even tried to say the phrase in French, but reception still couldn't understand. But then it was \"impossible\" to put the call through anyway. I'm not sure what would happen in the case of an emergency??

The hotel is in a good position; good choice of restaurants nearby. Just beware if you follow your satnav it takes you into the town which is full of roadworks. We followed the deviation sign and went around in circles for an hour!!! No signs to help. Poor satnav couldn't cope! So look out for railway station to get to this hotel.

The hotel is clean, good position, if a little basic with its green plastic decor, but perfectly adequate, so no complaints.
The town (excluding the bl.... roadworks) looks really nice and interesting just off for a morning stroll to check it out!

We stayed in this hotel for one night, and we there was nothing we can fail it for. The parking issue we weren't happy at first was was easy sorted - there's a car park in the next building where you can leave your car overnight for 7 euros (24hrs).

We got what we expected, a modern hotel with comfortable bed. It's right next to the station, only 5 minutes walk from the pedestrian area and not far from the cathedral. We drove there and you can park in the multi storey next door for 7 euros for 24 hours.
Breakfast was adequate for 9 euros, but don't leave it too late to go!

We stayed here so that we could see the WWI battlefields of the Somme. This was a good hotel for our stay--conveniently located near the Gare (train station) with tons of restaurants nearby and the downtown in walking distance. We found the hotel clean and affordable, and the staff was very helpful, courteous, and accommodating. GREAT staff. My only critique was that the mattresses need a little updating for comfort, and also it would be helpful if the hotel could arrange a deal with the next door parking garage so that hotel customers can park for free. (The parking was not very expensive; it just was surprising because some other hotels have free on-site parking.)

Only stayed for 1 night during Xmas markets. Hotel was in the perfect location....literally 10 mins, if that - to walk to the main centre. Opposite a secure car park where u can park for 24 hours for about €7. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food, but the hotel was full (had a sign on the door saying it was full) and the food area was packed when I did walk past.
Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Very convenient location if you are traveling by train, which I imagine most visitors are. I came to see the beautiful cathedral and the Jules Verne house. It's a small city and I had no problem walking everywhere I wanted to go. I appreciated the location of the hotel, as I could get checked into my room right after my train travel and rest for a bit. Would recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay here again myself. I'm a big fan of the Campanile hotels after staying in 3 of them during my travels in France this summer.

The hotel is not flash but everything you need is here. Great service, clean well maintained rooms, nice dining area, pleasant area to sit and have a drink from a generous bar. Convenient council parking adjacent at very reasonable daily rate. Well located beside railway but this is not noisy.

Incredibly convenient for train travel

I was thorough impressed by this hotel. It is literally across the street from the train station, but not noisy or in a questionable neighborhood. There is a restaurant in the hotel with decent (although not fantastic) food. They also have a small bar where you can get decent wine and beer. The building is fairly new and simple but comfortable. It is a budget hotel, but exactly how I would design one -- all the conveniences and amenities you want, executed in a simple but tasteful way. The staff was incredibly nice and well informed. The rooms are comfortable but simple. I was traveling with my 6 year old, and it was very comfortable for both of us. Highly recommended.

On a positive the hotel has an ex Ellen's location beside the train station and Avis Car Rental. It is situated in close vicinity to the shopping street, many and variety eating establishments and the Cathedral. The rooms are soundproof.

This is a good standard hotel close to the centre of the city. Major attractions are in easy reach by foot. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast bar provided. No disturbance caused by railway station alongside. Cheap multi-day parking available at the car park just across the street. I enjoyed my stay here and Amiens is worth visiting in itself as well as being a handy base for the Somme battlefield places of interest.

Battlefield Tour 2015

Check in was simple with staff able to speak English very well. Our room was clean and tidy but was also the first in Europe we had seen with tea and coffee making facilities. Unfortunately the disposable cups were not suitable for hot liquids and you couldn't hold the cup with the coffee/tea until it had cooled considerably. The room doesn't have a bar fridge either but not an issue. But the major disappointment was the ventilation and the room was very hot. There was none and when i tried to ring Reception, the cheap plastic phone did not work so i had to go to reception personally. I was told that the air conditioning had been switched to heating throughout the hotel from 01 October and there was nothing we could do. Despite having a controller in the room, it is there for show only. We had to open the window just to get air movement and leave it open during the night. It was a fine solution until the trains started running at the train station located next door. Reception also said they would replace the phone during the next day but it didn't occur. Food at the restaurant was nice but they only had the one person doing the restaurant and bar service which was adjacent but external to the restaurant so expect to wait a little extra. Its a new hotel but suffers from being fitted out with brightly coloured cheap fixtures.

I arrived at the hotel: check-in was very easy and the staff super friendly and helpful. I stayed for four nights: excellent proximity to the train station, and despite having a room overlooking the tracks I slept very well. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a great shower!

Well appointed hotel in small French town

The hotel is located next to the train station which means it is a great if you travel by train. It is also only ten to fifteen minutes walk to the centre of town with shops and eating options. The hotel is modern and fulfills every need for a short visit. Staff are friendly and try to help on all occasions. The restaurant is moderate but once again fulfills most requirements. Would definitely stay here if visiting Amiens again despite the occasional loud noise from early trains. Our time in Amiens was very enjoyable and the hotel contributed to making our stay much better than expected.
