We were on the ground floor facing the car park with only a muslin curtain at the window which meant anyone passing the window or driving in and out of the car park could see straight into our room. No sense of privacy.

The window shutters made a nice dark room and kept out all noise.

Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal.

The staff here were friendly and check in was an easy process. The room was a good big size for 2 adults and a child. The location isn’t great, it’s about a 20 minute walk at least to the centre of town if you want to eat out. There is no restaurant at the hotel. We visited on a Sunday in August, it was very quiet and there were some areas that you didn’t really feel safe walking through to get to town.
It was also around 28 degrees when we were there, the hotel has no air conditioning although there was a fan in the room. However it was still very hot and none of us slept very well. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Disappointed after reading the reviews.

Misleading description leaves one disappointed. Its not on the river, there is nothing around for drinks, meals etc without either a long walk, not something you will want to do on dark nights, of at least half an hour. No aircon in the rooms making them unbearably hot in the summer. Staff not around just to check in and take payment of course but after 3pm in our case. Would not recommend the hotel at all. Others say its fabulous but for us we did not think it was. OK for the 1 night but not for longer stays. Towels low quality and small.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and efficient. Room clean and comfortable, good size. Bathroom was roomy and modern. Only problem was when a larger person used the shower water did spray everywhere. No soap at hand basin but you could use the shower soap on the wall.
We were able to walk into town without a problem however if needed the N4 bus runs by the hotel and seemed pretty frequent although I don’t know how late they run.

Well didnt actually get to stay in the hotel i paid for i was extremely looking forward to staying here but after setting off on my drive north from torravieja in spain at 2am i arrived in Pau around 3pm very tired but greeted by one way streets no outside parking facilities tried several times to find some sort of parking so i could go to the reception to ask where the parking was but to no avail so i gave up this happens drove on to Poitier where i stayed in a best western hotel staff were amazing inlike this shower when i asked for a refund

Pleasant functional hotel, on the outskirts of the city. Free parking on site, perfect for the hired van we were driving. Short walk to bus stop for regular buses into the centre. Good for an overnight stop.
Checkin from 3pm, we arrived a little early at 2pm, after driving from Reims hoping to at least park the van and go into town until we could check in later, only to find the hotel locked and shut between 12 & 3. We were rather nervous leaving the van in the car park without at least informing someone, so we just hung around until 3pm. Very strange, have never seen this before. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.

Not in the centre of town, but VERY comfortable

Brilliant hotel. We stayed one night, as part of a 2-week trip, and this was one of the best stays.
The bed/mattress was excellent, the room spacious and well laid out. All fixtures & fittings were nice and new and the room was nicely decorated.
Check-in was painless and staff very helpful.
Couldn't fault this place - highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful staff. They gave us maps, recommendations for restaurants, and also advised us of a highlight of our trip to Amiens, the light show at the Cathedral. I'm so glad we were told about it. The hotel is new, very clean, comfortable, with great parking. It's a bit difficult to find, even though we had GPS in our rental car; maybe a bit bigger signage? Overall, very happy with our time in Amiens.

I was dismayed to find that it was quite a trek into the centre of Amiens and our room overlooked the railway line and busy road. No bar or vending machine at the hotel.
There was no air-conditioning and our small room was unbearably hot, but the staff were able to lend us a fan. The staff were helpful & friendly and breakfast was good, but overall we were disappointed with our stay.

Check in went well, receptionist spoke good English. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking a stream- and the main road was quite close but didn’t disturb us too much. The room was a good size with a bit of hanging space but no drawers. Bed good size and comfortable, could have done with changing the sheets- might have been our dirt on them but I would have changed them at home. There was a tv in the room, considering how many English speaking guests they have it would have been good to have one English Channel- maybe world news. There were shutters on the window plus a net curtain. We didn’t use the blind as it only went all the way down and that stopped the air from getting in, so it got light pretty early. The bathroom was amazing, plenty of room, amazing shower with a rain head and a movable head. Loved it!!! Breakfast was €9.50 extra, little expensive for what it was, ran out of eggs and bottled water on the 3rd day. Not many places to eat close by. It was a bit of a walk to the centre of Amiens, especially as there was major road works going on which impacted pedestrians too. Plenty of parking at the hotel which was a great bonus in Amiens. Would stay there again if we ever visit the area again.

Perfectly acceptable accommodation but don't expect great views; in a rather industrial part of town. Feels like an upmarket student residence. Breakfast basic but fine. Staff very helpful. We were told it was a 20 min walk to the centre of town. In fact 20 min brisk walk takes you to the edge of the central area. To get to the interesting parts (eg cathedral) takes 35 - 40 min.

We have stayed here 4 times on the way to and from the Limousin. Location is very convenient for the autoroute. The hotel is modern, well designed and quiet. Rooms are spotless. We always sleep well. Staff are friendly and helpful (I left a bag in the room on the way down - it was kept safe and returned to me on the way back). Breakfast is good.

Great hotel if you have a car.

If you have a car, this hotel is a great choice for Amiens, as there is easy parking. You can easily drive to the town centre, where parking is also easy, although there are currently lots of roadworks around the city as some sort of bus system is being constructed. If you don't have a car, the location would not be convenient as there is a 20 minute walk to the centre of town. The hotel staff were very helpful. A cold buffet breakfast is available for an extra cost. WiFi is good. The hotel is modern and our room had a pleasant balcony
No air con. Shower not powerful. The hotel recommended a very good restaurant 7 minutes walk from the hotel.

Look no further!

For a short stay close to the WW1 battlefields but nicely a short distance out of Amiens centre this is ideal. My wife and I have stayed in many hotels of varying quality and cost and this little gem sits very well in the upper regions of these. It is small, almost brand new, clean, well appointed, quiet, easy and free to park and staffed with excellent people who do everything to make a stay pleasurable. Breakfasts are excellent and well worth the €9.50. The buffet never runs out and is being constantly restocked during the breakfast period. Tables are maintained and relaid without delay as guests come and go. Do not pay any attention to negative comments on other customer reviews. Just get busy and book before the rooms are taken. All rooms were occupied during much of our four-night stay, but there was no sense of a crush anywhere at any time. Ours was a relaxing, quiet, well organised, well presented experience in a boutique hotel of quality

Chose this hotel for its parking

This is an unpretentious, functional hotel on the outskirts of Amiens, with free on-site parking. It is clean and comfortable with a decent breakfast. Staff are welcoming and helpful.
Those are the good points and met our main criteria when booking as we were driving and needed easy parking. However, the Amiens taxi services are not great so you need to be up for a half hour walk each way each time you want to go into town. There are very few bars and restaurants around the hotel and no bar or mini bar in the hotel (nearest restaurant is a rather dull 10 min walk). But the main reason we would probably not return is that on our last night, at about 2am, the car park resounded to the noise of shouting, laughter and car horns for about 15 mins and we were concerned for the safety of our car. There is no-one on reception overnight, so no-one to go out to see what was going on or sort out the noise. Being English, with an English reg plate on our car, we didn't want to invite problems by asking them to be quiet or leave. So, on balance, we would probably not return.

We had a lovely 3-night stay here. The room was lovely, with a balcony. It wasn't too expensive. Breakfast wasn't included in the price but we enjoyed it for 2 of the 3 mornings. There was also a car park and free wifi, which were welcomed. We could have done with a fridge in the room as the weather was so warm. We would think about staying here again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable modern hotel with very helpful staff. Not a luxury hotel but not luxury prices either. The free parking just a few minutes drive from the City centre was a big plus. Breakfast was a good selection of fresh continental items and tea & coffee making equipment is supplied in the rooms.
It was bitterly cold outside whilst we were there but the rooms were comfortably warm. Rooms are a good size and bathrooms have good modern showers.

Hotel is clean with reasonable size rooms. 25 min stroll to the town centre and less than €10 taxi ride back. The price difference more than makes up for this. Breakfast is not a big spread but us adequate and reasoably priced. There isca good restaurant a little more than 5 minutes away and also a small grocery store with alchol of course.

This was a very pleasant hotel for an overnight stop on my travels through France. Clean and equipped as you would expect and a decent price. The only downside is the 30 minute walk to the centre of Amiens for food, but they make no secret of this when you book. Would happily stop here again, much nicer than a lot of \"budget\" price hotels.

The stay was a pleasant experience. The room was a good size and immaculately clean. The balcony was nice though the view was rather lacking. It was within walkable distance to Amiens town centre (20-25 mins). The bathroom was a good size, the shower was nice but not very powerful. It was very reasonably priced and a good stopping point for further travel. Also I was very impressed with the size of the bed!

Hotel and room were clean and in good condition. Room and bed were very comfortable, aided by good double-glazing and a roller shutter. There is a railway close by, but with the balcony door closed, there is little noise.

Hotel is a 25 mins walk from the centre of Amiens, but we walked there and back in the evening and were perfectly happy to do so.

Breakfast and service were both good, and there was plenty of parking.

Hour and a half to Tunnel

An overnight stop after a late eurotunnel crossing. Very accommodating of our late arrival. Comfortable and clean.

Nice new hotel with good free parking

Nice new hotel in a quiet and green location on the edge of the city. Nice staff and excellent breakfast for 9 Euro. Good for a stopover or a weekend break.

Bargain modern hotel in Amiens

Great little hotel at a bargain price. Comfort, cleanliness and helpfulness of staff all excellent. Trade off is the position a little out of town. We're a couple in our sixties and managed the walk in under 30 minutes on a very hot day. Taxi costs €10/12. Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again.
