Great hotel with everything you'd want

A lovely stay. Excellent location and friendly staff. Would have been good to be able to book parking in advance. I requested it and all worked out fine but not sure why it couldn't be locked in. Breakfast was delicious.

Amien is surprisingly urbanized and industrial. There are a heavy number of non French groups of men loitering at tourist locations blocking the entrances. Not friendly to tourists or casual travelers especially alone.

Good value hotel in the centre of Amiens

Good: Great location, short walk to town and decent restaurants. Clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff (even in English !). Well placed to see some of the WW1 battlefields and cemeteries. Adequate breakfast. Good value.

Not so good: you have to go to the reception first to get the pass (10€ per night) for the underground garage, the assistant on the intercom at the garage entrance doesn't speak any English. You have to reverse out park, check-in, get your pass then park. The car park has VERY narrow access both in and out. The hotel parking is on the third floor down. I drive a Toyota CH-R and it tested my driving skills ! It requires reversing to set the angle to get round some of the bends.

No frills room but clean and everything worked as it should! Charging points conveniently located beside bed and plenty of easily accessible sockets. Very comfortable bed. Shower was great too.
Only issue was the underground car park - apparently you need to collect a ticket from the hotel first to access. It’s on a busy road so stopping there wasn’t easy. Also there is a height restriction in the car park.

Friendly reception staff and easy check in. Very convenient location, just a few minutes walk to the major attractions of the Cathedral, the biggest and most impressive in France, Le Musee de Picardie and a bit longer to Les Hortillonnages. Also a good base for visiting the memorials of the Somme. Breakfast was a nice buffet and typically French.

I found it rather odd that the City Tax for 18 people had to be paid individually for each room and not all together, luckily my card provider allowed me to pay for them all separately. The room could have done with hand towel in the bathroom. Otherwise conveniently situated for us and quiet.

On my first trip to France, this is the first lodging where I stayed. The staff were very helpful, speaking English, but also encouraging me as I practiced French. This may not be the fanciest lodging, but it's within walking distance to the Cathedral, shops, museums, and restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the bed comfortable. I liked this place so much that a week later, I stayed there when I visited the Somme battlefields. Most of all, the staff made me feel very welcome, and I appreciated their professionalism and kindness.

Very misleading as further from the cathedral than advertised. Rooms tired and very small for two people. Rooms hot even in March and to noisy if you have a window open. Breakfast choices poor and not enough if you were later in. Staff not interested in helping. Very expensive for what you get.

Hotel situated in a downbeat area - burger joints etc but it was close to the town centre. The parking was awful. No instructions provided in advance - it was necessary to go to reception first, to get a parking card, then return to car park barrier. The parking was 3 floors down without a lift and so unsuitable for many.
The room was clean and basic but small - no tea and coffee facilities so it offered less value than Travelodge in the Uk.

Good overnight stay

Great place to stay for the Christmas market, just a 5 minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was quite hot, even in December. Parking is next door, not very well signposted, but only 8 euros for 24 hour secure parking. Easy to drive to from Calais. Amiens is beautiful, the Christmas market was lovely and the light show on the Cathedral was very impressive.

Good location for hotel. Only stayed 1 night so didn’t get to explore surroundings. Comfy room, nice shower and clean.

Parking was full so would recommend trying to get there earlier. Had to leave my car on the street. Dinner was nice but not a lot of selections on the menu. Good breakfast.

Its only a five minute walk from the city centre. The underground parking is a bit of a pain, although you can park right outside the hotel for free. If there's a space! The room was to warm so had to sleep with the window open, so you get traffic noise, although this does not go on all night! The breakfast is ok? But not worth the money. You get better from the cafe opposite the front door. The dining/breakfast room needs updating. Aluminium tape on the seating does not look attractive!!!!

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights from 22 April to 27 April 2019. We liked the location and the condition of our room. We were disappointed that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which we found unusual. It was also difficult to get a coffee within the hotel unless you were taking the breakfast option, which we didn't want. The staff were really very good at getting us taxis, especially as we were there for Anzac Day, but the bar area was understaffed most of the time. We actually felt sorry for the one guy serving in the bar when we first arrived as he was cooking dinners, serving drinks, clearing tables, and dealing with lots of people who were waiting. The bar/restaurant needs more staff, especially when lots of people are visiting at times like Anzac week. Also, there was no in-room safe, another aspect that we found unusual. The location is good if you are able to walk to the railway station area and is about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and restaurants.

I liked everything about this hotel: the breakfasts, the dinner, the cleanliness everywhere, from the reception area to the restaurant, to the hallways and elevators, and my room! It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, (be sure to see the map), which I did around midnight, and I found the clerk at the reception desk ready to check me in. Everyone at the hotel was ready to help with directions, my train tickets to the airport, and other needs. Excellent place to stay!

Decent hotel with seems to be new renovation in the room. But the bathroom design is terrible. Shower is at the same place of the toilet and sink. After a shower, everywhere in the floor is wet and water drip all the way out to the room!

The place looks a little run down from the outside but it was a typical Ibis standard inside, the rooms were clean, would have been nice to have tea making facilities, however on the hottest day of the year the aircon come in more useful. Be aware to unload your luggage before you go in the underground car park as there is no lift when you've parked and its 3 floors up!!.

A basic 3 star hotel

This is a basic but very clean hotel. The rooms are not that big but convenient and the beds comfortable. The room amenities were poor but in fairness it is a 3 star hotel and the reception staff are ver pleasant. Chose the hotel because it has car parking which once you have sorted it out is probably ok. Pedestrian access to and from the deep car park is by three flights of stairs so drop your case off before parking. Our room on the sixth floor provided excellent views over the town towards the Cathedral. However, one of the two small lifts was permanently out of action and when the other was being serviced I had to climb seven flights of stairs. On arrival, having been travelling all day and tired we decided to eat in. When we got it the soup was excellent but the main course meat, although succulent was, like the plates, very cold.(the frites were very hot). Too tired and having waited so long for service we chose to accept and not complain although afterwards I did mention this to the waitress. - still had to pay the full bill..

I'd recommend it to someone looking for a one or two night stzay in Amiends, close to the centreand fairly cheap. The rooms are very small but clean and the hotel can best be described as functional. There is parking which is good for somewhere so close to the centre.

We had a pleasant stay - the hotel is in a central position not far (10 minute walk) from the Cathedral and the old area of St.Lo with waterside restaurants and bars, just a little further to the amazing Hortillonnages water gardens.

This hotel is just about ok. No coffee/ tea making facilities unlike some other budget hotels. Room adequate, another pillow would have been good. The downside, room 400 right by two lifts so we could hear then going up and down and up and down and up and down .......

The upside - really good continental breakfast for €8.

Difficult to find even with a GPS. Parking has a height restriction which I did not see on the initial review site, although as we where there over a week end did not prove to be a problem as parking is available on the street and no cost for Saturday/ Sundays. Very pleasant hotel though there was a long black hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived! Good variety for breakfast. Close to town center.
